We have just returned from a family trip of four adults in two rooms. We really enjoyed our holiday and the hotel has lots of pros and a few cons. Things we enjoyed: The hotel has fabulous staff. They work so hard and always with a smile. The restaurant is run very efficiently. Even though it is quite small, it never feels busy, no queues and tables are tidied away very quickly. The general feel of the hotel is very friendly, relaxed and happy. The rooms were very clean, modern and spacious and the maids cleaned everyday. The location of the hotel is brilliant and definitely a plus point for staying here. We enjoyed days walking to the shops and beach (5 mins) and in the evenings we liked strolling along the boardwalk into town and around the bars in Music Square and the old town. The food in the restaurant was good. It does get a bit repetitive after a while, but that is all inclusive for you. Always a paella, pizza, pasta, salad and different options daily. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ evening. Miguel was very friendly running the day activities. It is not a hotel that has a lot going on and that suited us. Things that could be improved: Compared to other hotels we have stayed in, the cocktail menu was poor. Only 2 choices per day and they were very sickly sweet. The other drinks options however, were very good. The pool is a nice size and the whole surrounding area is immaculate. However the water was murky and the sides of the pool were slimy and in need to a good clean and refurb. Cockroaches were very visible in the evening on the paths and in the bar. Thankfully they were not in the rooms. The sunbed situation was hilarious to watch! Rope-drop is at 9am which at least is a reasonable time. However as the week went on people were queuing earlier and earlier and some were even running to get beds!! I think this was due to the lack of parasols around the pool and shaded/ cooler areas. We hired a cabana one day (€10) to avoid the rush. Well worth doing, but they get booked up quickly. Overall we had a great holiday and loved Corralejo. With a few tweaks, the hotel would be worth returning to.

We stayed here 16 years ago, which I realized on arrival. since its had a nice face lift and I must say it looked so much better than what I remember last time. The new improvements where mainly the restaurant and bar area and some adjustments to the pool area, Which was really nice, food had a good selection, although its like any other AI, it gets a bit bland after a few days. For me it had a good breakfast selection. In all prob a 4 out 5 for food selections. Pool looked OK, until you put googles and look underwater, and seen that the pool needs a good clean and repair on certain parts. Tiles have come loose. 2 out 5 only as it needs cleaning and fixing. Rooms are fine for a family of 3/4 but we found it a bit unusual to have the wardrobe in 1 room, that said we only stayed a week so it wasn't a big issue. Over all look is modern and it was fairly well maintained, oh and the TV has all the English channels. Not that we watched it much. So if you really need too watch what you may miss back at home on TV. Maid made the bed and change towels every day. I can't say though the sheets were ever changed whilst we stayed. Rooms 4 out 5. Your 15 minutes away from the music square and surrounding restaurants, which we visited and ate at every night. Alone this is well worth staying at any hotel at Corralejo. The walk way on the beach was good and a new addition from our last visit. We found now a lot more bars/ restaurants have popped up sfrom 16 years ago. Sad to see the beach has changed so much, it wasn't what I remember. It seems smaller now and not the same. Overall it has everything you want 5/5 Hotel has what you need and staff were all friendly enough, although I felt they were all run off their feet. Annamation team did what they could, prob a small budget, but enjoyed the pool games on our last day. Try more of them, other games as well as boul, darts and shuffle board. Keep being happy, you guys were great at what you did. Overall we had a great week, met loads of lovely people that made our trip better. My son was happy making friends, playing football or swimming. BUT the biggest moan…towel wars at 9:00. To Que for a bed was ridiculous. You need more beds or bring a rule that takes towels away if not attended for 2 hours? Plus the bed sofas are a nice touch, but all were booked up all week. Make it fair for other familys if the same family book it all week. We hear this isn't an issue out of season. My shout out goes to Nicocia at reception, very helpful and did her best extending our room stay after being told we couldn't extend earlier in the day. So we checked out later than 12. Thanks to her. Hopefully we may see you in the future Lambrada.

“Sun bed wars”

Sun bed wars at its best!!!!!!! Never have I stayed somewhere, where I’ve had to set my alarm at 5:30am to reserve a bed! Management don’t care - I’ve tried to speak to them on multiple occasions- we’ve been here 10 days so far out of 14! Ppl are reserving their beds the afternoon/evening before.

So much so I actually started feeling sorry for a few of them, the same 4 people were there day in day out for very long shifts!! They looked shattered most of the time but always had a smile. The staff make this hotel! The food is good. The pool is good. The gym is AWFUL! It’s only got 1 piece of cardio working, it’s tiny and no air con, tucked in a corner of the resort, you really cannot call it a gym! Odd layout to rooms, the main bedroom has the bathroom in it, so no separate bathroom, if more than 1 person there is lack of privacy and congestion! Cleaning is not great, mopping floors is about as good as it gets! Lots of cockroaches (which you get everywhere but these are very visible! General areas ie toilets are in need of repair and deep clean. Entertainment at night is awful! And poolside activities are virtually non existent, would be good to have some exercise classes but nothing available. I feel this hotel is trying to “cut corners” with its reward scheme for not having housekeeping! A good incentive but only for more cost cutting it seems. It was relaxing but glad I only booked a week
