“Brilliant hotel”

Amazing hotel. Lovely staff and excellent customer service from all. Took luggage to the room, provided beach & pool towels daily and no race for sun loungers. Amazing hotel. Lovely staff and excellent customer service from all. Took luggage to the room, provided beach & pool towels daily and no race for sun loungers. Very chilled atmosphere which was perfect for a chilled holiday. We only did bed and breakfast, the food was great and plenty of choice. Room cleaned brilliantly & fresh water provided daily. Good location close to shops, restaurants and bars but not too close it’s loud or rowdy. Would 100% stay here again, definetly worth the price!

This is our 5th time at this hotel and our third since October 25. At a time when a lot of hotels are increasing their prices and still making cuts to improve their profits colon guanahani refuses to follow the crowds. There are no changes to the way this hotel serves their clients they treat and respect your choice of holiday quiet poolside surroundings clean towels and room cleaning is just as thorough as it’s ever been with a friendly smile they still appreciate your time spent in their hotel and it’s just very much a adult friendly hotel not out to break what isn’t broken. We’ve booked again for march 27 and yes there’s been an increase in the total outlay but you’ll know when you get there’s no changes that will cause you to think again next visit. We went as it was a 60th birthday and a bottle of cava was added to the free fridge where it shared with an additional bottle of cava we received as returning guests. Late flight home meant we got a safe place to leave our luggage until we picked up the coach and the use of a room to shower and change for our return flight all very much complimentary. The hotel really does go a long way to make you feel appreciated thanks colon guanahani we will see you again next march.

“A good choice of hotel!”

First time at the hotel; we stayed for a week. Our flight on arrival was a late one, so they kindly left a meal for us in the restaurant, even though it had closed by that time. Our room was well appointed, overlooked the pool and was pretty spacious. It had a kettle and a coffee machine; supplies of tea, coffee, water were topped up daily. Towels were changed daily; linen perhaps twice in the week. The housekeeping service was good and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. What was noticeable was that, although the hotel was busy, a calm atmosphere remained throughout. Staff were always polite, courteous and efficient - and invariably smiling! The gym is not air conditioned which is needed for it to be used for most of the year in Tenerife. This may be a disadvantage. On the other hand, evening entertainment is provided, which usually consisted of a singer or an instrumentalist. The food choice, I would argue, was better at breakfast than dinner although it was always possible to find something to eat at dinner, and I accept that everyone's choices are personal. One (minor) issue for me was that the juices on offer at breakfast were not fresh (even though the machine said 'Taste the Freshness' on it in large writing) and I think that's a missed opportunity on the hotel's part to elevate the breakfast a little, particularly in a country in which fresh fruit grows plentifully; I can't believe a 4* hotel in Tenerife cannot offer fresh orange juice to its guests at breakfast. In the scheme of things, though, this was not a major problem. The hotel is probably one of the top end 4* hotels in Tenerife and, as such, will tend to cost more than others. If you like quite a peaceful, relaxing, holiday without children (it is adults only) together with a decent, although not exceptional, choice of food, I think it's worth the additional price.

Had a great time, room was lovely and clean. If you want a very quiet holiday this is the place to go.
