We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at Paraíso del Sol and honestly don’t understand why some of the reviews are negative. We had absolutely no issues with our apartment — everything was clean, functional, and exactly as expected. The door uses a key lock system and we never once felt unsafe. In fact, the whole complex felt secure and peaceful throughout our stay. The only slight downside is there’s no air con, but you can rent a fan from reception for €10 (which you get back when you return it) — not a big deal at all. The apartment had plenty of storage for both clothes and food, which made unpacking and settling in easy. The cleaners came more or less every day, and they changed the towels daily too, as long as we left them in the bath — a nice touch that kept things fresh. The location is excellent, with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. We had a lovely Chinese meal at the place next door — definitely worth a visit! The pool area is a real highlight: spotless, well-maintained, and gets sun all day long, even into the evening. There are even floaties around for everyone to use, which was a fun little bonus! Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return. Don’t be put off by the bad reviews — we didn’t find a single thing to complain about.

“Pool photo is nothing like the real thing.”

Just got back from 10 days at these apartments, stayed in room G33 on the ground floor. Room was very average and the outside space was very poor, old faded sunbed, plastic chairs and table that had been painted white to try freshen up but this was just peeling off. Just got back from 10 days at these apartments, stayed in room G33 on the ground floor. Room was very average and the outside space was very poor, old faded sunbed, plastic chairs and table that had been painted white to try freshen up but this was just peeling off. The small pool was right outside our room and was being repaired for the first 5 days of our stay so we had workmen playing their radio loud and drilling from 9am till 4/5pm. The security on the sliding door was a chain, we didn't feel safe as there was no lock. There was a slope right outside our front door and the cleaners used this a lot for the trolley collecting the dirty laundry from all the rooms, it sounded like a freight train rolling past at ALL times of the day so no sleeping in even after the pool was finished. We were self catering but tried the dinner menu in the restaurant once, wasn't a lot of choice unless you like pasta and rice we knew this because we tried again and looked first to see what was on offer................. pasta and rice. We didn't try again. The pool area is NOTHING like the photo, you think there are lots of spare beds piled up but they're the ones nobody wants as they're all split or broken. The lifeguard is a great addition but the first one we had did absolutely nothing about people playing ball games and reserving beds with towels, the 2nd one we got was very good and followed through with the rules. He stopped a drunken woman from swimming in the pool and took her to one side when she started kicking off and also wouldn't allow anyone to put their towels on the beds. Saw 2 cockroaches whilst we were there but no more, I've never been in a place with cockroaches so not sure how bad this was? The reception staff were great, the pool bar staff were friendly but i wouldn't stay here again. The cleaners came in every other day and changed the beds, towels etc.

Stay in a private apt 1609B..booked through booking.com. If your about to stay here it currently has no pool..I wasn't told it was under construction which was poor from the owner. The beach close by is peddles so I spent 15euros on special footwear..beach is dirty and isolated. No arrangements made to use another hotels pool unless you pay 25euros per day. Location isn't the best..2.5miles from Adeje ans you can't walk via the coast..bus that's not reliable or taxi at 15euros each way. There is another beach across waste ground but nice views..much better beach with a bar. But still stoney. My apartment was in the need of a face-lift.. no air-conditioning and I had to ask for a fan that arrived 4 days into my week long stay. 1 loo roll and 1 bin liner left to use which isn't enough. Jus feel abandoned and hard on your own when the area is isolated.. not much going on here..hardly any bars and a small shopping area within a 10 min walk. All I can say is thank God the weather was good..but won't stay in this location again or apartment. Great view if you get the sea view side of the building.
