A great hotel for a family holiday!! It ticked all boxes for us… good location, lovely pools, great breakfast, amazing staff! A couple of really lovely gestures made by staff due to it being a family honeymoon we never had and our daughter’s birthday! ♥️ We honestly can’t recommend this place enough. We don’t usually return to the same destination twice, but we’ve already said we’ll definitely be back while the kids are still young. Having stayed in many family-friendly hotels over the years, this one stands out above the rest… it really was fantastic. Yes, the bungalows are a little dated, but it actually adds to the charm and overall feel of the place rather than needing to be ultra-modern. Just a place to sleep really and whilst the babies napped, we sat outside and enjoyed the little terrace in the sun. Ignore the negative reviews — they don’t reflect our experience at all!

Could not recommend this place enough! We visited as a large family group staying in 3 1-bedroom apartments on the second floor on a half board basis. All were very clean and in good condition. Could not recommend this place enough! We visited as a large family group staying in 3 1-bedroom apartments on the second floor on a half board basis. All were very clean and in good condition. Between the 2 pools, children’s pool with play equipment in it, play areas, soft play, crazy golf and football pitch there was plenty for our children (age 3-10) to do. The complex is set out like a canarian village and is lovely to walk around. The staff were lovely, on our first night we arrived at the hotel right at the end of dinner but they still made sure we were able to eat. The variety of food is very good too. We absolutely loved staying here.

Just returned from a week stay during the Easter holidays with my family - we had an amazing time . We stayed in a bungalow bed and breakfast. Check in - our room wasn’t ready so we were given a drinks token while we waited - nice touch . Unfortunately we weren’t given any help with our bags and the hotel is a labyrinth - took us a while to find our bungalow with no assistance and very hilly so was a struggle getting our cases round trying to find it. Disappointing start but very minor negative . Rooms - yes they’re out dated but you don’t go on holiday to sit in a room - it’s to bathe and sleep - which both can be achieved easily ! Beds in the bedroom were on wheels on tiled floor so did move a lot but nobody was harmed ha. About 5 sockets in the bungalow so take an extension lead if you want to use a lot of appliances at once . They were cleaned almost every day - leave your green slip in the key card entry of your front door to request a clean. Staff - all friendly and accommodating - especially the animation team for kids club and the mini disco . Kids club is 11-12.30 by the top pool - would recommend if you fancy a little break as a parent ha. Pools - bed wars were in full force here but if you want to take the risk then there was always some available but just maybe not in your preferred spot . If you find a spot you like - queue up for the rope to be removed at 10am and let the games commence haha. Towels are provided at the main pool behind the lifeguard . We preferred the top pool as it was quieter and had everything you need still (bar and toilets). Kids pool in the middle never seemed to get much sun. Food- we were bed and breakfast and it had everything you could think of . If you’re after a full English then don’t set your bar too high - it’s edible but the bacon , sausage and mushrooms are not as us brits would like it but that’s the same everywhere abroad in my opinion. Shops and bars / restaurants onsite are expensive - go the hyperdino express in the shopping centre next to the hotel for your snacks/drinks etc if not all inclusive . Take bottles to fill with juice / water at breakfast if you’re b&b- seen people do this so think should be ok. Entertainment - our kids loved it , every show of an evening after the mini disco was great I thought, not for everyone but defo not woeful as some people claim. Onsite entertainment - park , bouncy castle , football , mini golf , zip line and soft play at the top of the hotel by the kids club - great for the kids on cloudy days . The staff brought out a water pad and bouncy castle on the main pool some days too which was brilliant for the kids . Activities - we did a night at the Castillo San Miguel - defo recommend this for the kids - was amazing. I booked it on get your guide which was cheaper than the excursion stand in reception. Taxi was about 30 euros there and 30 back - cheaper than the transfer package. Jungle park was a good day out too but the staff there were unhelpful and rude and we waited two hours for a taxi home as the bus was too full so if you go there - leave earlier than 4.15 or 5.30 to get in the queue and ensure you get a space on the bus ! Food here too is expensive so take a packed lunch if you’re watching the pennies . Restaurants in the area - Marylebone opposite - good to watch sports- food nothing to write home about . San marco the Italian next to that - bland but good prices. Moon restaurant on the beach lovely for tea out and the Winchester good for lunch . Market literally opposite the hotel on Thurs and sat 9-2 for all your dupe kits , trainers and bags etc. Hotel itself is kept immaculately clean and honestly all staff are lovely - we would return 100%.

We’ve just returned from a week at GF Isabel. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I wouldn’t rate it as a true four-star hotel, and it felt quite expensive for what was offered. We stayed in adjoining rooms as there were five of us, which worked perfectly. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable enough for sleeping, with plenty of storage and a nice view. However, there were a few issues — we occasionally noticed a sewage smell, and we had a leak in the room. To be fair, the leak was fixed quickly once reported. The highlight of the trip was definitely the animation team. They were brilliant, and the kids loved the mini disco, games, and activities. The pool area was great too, with football pitches, bouncy castles, and a good variety of pools to keep everyone entertained. Food was a letdown. It was very repetitive, with the same options every day, and nothing freshly made to order. The quality wasn’t great either. We were glad we only booked bed and breakfast, as all-inclusive wouldn’t have been worth it in our opinion. The location was one of the best aspects — very central and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Unfortunately, the staff came across as quite abrupt, especially on our first day when we were told off for being in the wrong area after getting lost in the large hotel. Staff in the restaurant also seemed quite grumpy. On top of that, drinks, snacks, and ice creams around the pool were quite overpriced. Overall, it was fine for a week in the sun, but we wouldn’t return, and it didn’t feel like good value for money.
