My husband and I have just returned from 8 days staying at the Casas Ducales. This is a separate part of the main hotel and has its own check in reception. There's a large, airy, elegant living room where breakfast is cooked to order and can be taken inside or outside on the terrace. Drinks (including wines and cava) are available in the living room during the day and I think up to about 11.00pm. Tea and goodies are served in the afternoon and also in the evening there are canapes and drinks. The accommodation was first class with all the usual amenities expected of a 5 star hotel. Needless to say everywhere is very clean. Add to this the simply wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us. I would mention their names but can't remember all of them so will just say how great each and every one was. My husband has mobility problems and although the hotel itself is very big there are buggies to pick you up and transport you to different areas or, if you have a mobility scooter, it's easy to get around the hotel as there are plenty of ramps. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and well kept with colourful shrubs everywhere. I even saw a black swan, a duck and koi carp. There are plenty of sunbeds at all times and the actual situation of the hotel opposite a beautiful beach couldn't be better. We were bed and breakfast so didn't eat dinner every night in the hotel as there are other restaurants nearby but did eat in about 4 of the restaurants at the Bahia and the food was very good and the service excellent. There was entertainment in the evenings both inside and out but never too noisy and there was no noisy over the top music around the pools during the day. All in all, what can I say, fabulous and thank you Bahia and all the staff!

“Very enjoyable holiday”

We spent 10 nights in this lovely Hotel from the 17th to the 27th of May and really enjoyed our stay. Its quite a vast Hotel and took us a few days to really find our way around all the areas. It is a well laid out complex with plenty of pools and a great supply of comfortable sun beds. Julian at the large pool did a great job and was very attentative to evertbodys needs. Breakfast time we found to be the highlight of our day. To sit out in the sun early in the morning sipping a nice cold Cava beside the small waterfall was bliss. We really could not get over the hugh variety of hot and cold food on offer, really excellent, and Greisha was always on hand to look after our every need. We visited five Restaurants out of the seven and found the La Trattoria our favourite. Mauro and Andrea looked after us very well here. Oscar and Eric in Allesios were very attentive to us. We found Mikel Angel at reception to be exceptional in his professional and warm approach and looked after us so well, he is a credit to the Hotel. Just a few suggestions to management that are NOT criticisms, merely what we think could and would enhance the experience. Firstly, when on Half Board, which we were, all the menus in all the Restaurants have supplements even though you have paid handsomely for the Half Board experience. Most of the guests we spoke to felt this was a real let down as we did also. Some felt it was a a cheap way of getting extra revenue. We all felt that if you pay for HB then all the food should be included in the overall cost of the holiday. If the Hotel needs to increase the cost of the Holiday then fine, but stop this practice of supplements. Secondly the seperation between the balconys dosent lend much privacy, perhaps consider a more private partition. Thirdly, apart from Tennis, we were disappointed that there were no daytime activitys that we could see, perhaps Petanca which is a very popular activity for all ages could be considered. Overall we had a very pleasant and positive experience in Bahia del Duque and we look forward to returning next May for another 10 nights. Ray and Bernie Barry, Republic of Ireland

This was our seventh visit, and once again it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The rooms are immaculate, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and everywhere you look the hotel is spotless. The attention to detail is incredible and it's one of the many reasons we keep coming back year after year. The staff are outstanding throughout the resort. Every member of the team is friendly, professional and genuinely seems to care that you have the best possible holiday. A very special mention has to go to Gemma in the Kids Club. We honestly cannot praise her and her team enough. Looking after children is challenging at the best of times, but Gemma somehow manages to engage children of different ages, nationalities, personalities and interests, all while making it look effortless. Anyone who has spent time around children knows just how demanding that role really is, and the patience, energy and enthusiasm she brings every single day is remarkable. The main reason we continue to return is because of how much our daughter loves Gemma and the Kids Club. She talks about it all year and starts asking when she can come back almost as soon as we get home. Knowing that your child is happy, safe, entertained and excited to go back every day allows parents to truly relax and enjoy their holiday. That is priceless, and Gemma plays a huge part in creating those memories for families. The hotel is fortunate to have someone so dedicated, hardworking and talented representing it. She is a real asset to the team and deserves recognition for the incredible work she does. Thank you once again to everyone for another wonderful holiday. We have just returned from another wonderful stay at this hotel, and once again it reminded us why we keep coming back year after year. In fact, this was our sixth visit (excluding the COVID year of 2020), and it continues to be one of our favorite places in Tenerife. Our trip did not start perfectly, as our flight was delayed and we arrived later than expected on Saturday evening. Upon arrival, my wife was not entirely satisfied with the room we had been assigned. She mentioned this to the reception staff, who handled the situation professionally and with genuine kindness. To our surprise and delight, they upgraded us to a beautiful suite, which immediately set the tone for a fantastic holiday. This year we stayed in Casa Ducales, and we absolutely loved the experience. We have stayed in the villas on previous visits, which were excellent as well, but Casa Ducales offers a much more personal atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Their warm and personal approach made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The service in general deserves special recognition. From housekeeping to reception and the restaurant staff, everyone consistently provided outstanding hospitality. It is this level of service that keeps bringing us back. The only minor downside during our stay was that several renovation projects were taking place around the resort. At times this resulted in noticeable noise, which occasionally interrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. However, we understand that renovations are necessary to keep the property in excellent condition, and this did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment. Despite this small inconvenience, we had a fantastic week and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Leaving at the end of the holiday was genuinely difficult, which probably says more about the hotel than anything else. We are already looking forward to returning next year.
