This was our second visit to this hotel. We first stayed here in June 2023 for 8 nights in a Standard Side Sea View room. We returned in July 2026 and stayed for 12 nights. On arrival, we decided to upgrade to a Platinum Junior Suite with a Side Sea View, and we’re so glad we did. The lady at reception was very helpful and took the time to explain everything to us during check-in. The hotel is clean throughout. Breakfast was lovely, with a great selection . The sunbed booking system is absolutely brilliant, and I wish every hotel would introduce something similar. It makes the whole experience much more relaxing. We stayed in room 6004, which was spacious, had lovely views, and was cleaned every day. Teresa, who looked after our room, was wonderful. Every morning she greeted us with a “good morning,” We had a late check out booked and our last day on our way to breakfast Teresa, checked in with us to see if we needed any clean towels etc. It was also my partner’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly dropped in a bottle of Cava to celebrate. Very thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. We stayed on a bed and breakfast, but next time I think we’d like to try the all-inclusive option. All of the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had another fantastic holiday and would definitely return for a third visit.

Having traveled to dozens of destinations and stayed in around 50 hotels—mostly all-inclusive—I have a pretty good benchmark for what makes a truly exceptional resort. While Guayarmina Princess was a very good stay and easily makes my top 15, it didn't completely blow me away, and I generally don't repeat hotels. It's a solid 4-star experience highlighted by brilliant service, great food, and an unbeatable location, but a few operational tweaks could elevate it significantly. ​Staff & Service The staff deserve the biggest shoutout—they were genuinely excellent and easily some of the most attentive hotel staff I’ve encountered. Special mentions must go to Fernando at the Sunset Bar and Dominic at Reception, who were both super friendly, extremely helpful, and made us feel welcome right away. ​Food & Dining The food was second to none. Every buffet spread offered fantastic quality and variety throughout the entire trip, leaving zero complaints on the dining front. ​Room & Location The hotel's location is ideal—situated right on the beachfront promenade with immediate access to local bars and restaurants. We stayed in a Family Room on the second floor. The room itself was lovely, exceptionally spacious, and featured a fantastic shower. The only minor drawback was that it faced a public walkway outside, so pedestrians walking past could look straight over if you were out on the balcony. Not a dealbreaker, but it did compromise privacy a bit. ​Bars & Drinks Policy The Sunset Bar is easily the best bar on the property, but puzzlingly, it closes at 4:00 PM. Calling it a "Sunset Bar" when you can't actually watch the sunset from it feels like a real missed trick—a few tables up there for actual sunset drinks would elevate the experience massively. ​Another slight negative was the 1988 Bar, which sits right by the pool and is the first bar you see walking down from reception. Unfortunately, this bar only serves extra-charge cocktails. While I understand the resort caters to both Half Board and All-Inclusive guests, it felt like a bit of a kicker to be asked to pay extra for drinks at a prime poolside spot when you've already paid for an All-Inclusive package. ​Having experienced top-tier AI resorts elsewhere, the drink service here lacks a bit of theater—there were no novelty/signature cocktails included, nor staff circulating the pool area for drink orders, which would have been a nice touch. ​Pool & Facilities On the positive side, the sunlounger booking system is brilliant. Being able to reserve your spot completely eliminates the morning chair-dash and saves a lot of unnecessary holiday stress. ​The main facility area needing attention is the public restrooms. They could definitely benefit from more frequent cleaning throughout the day, and adding a few extra toilets around the resort would help eliminate the constant queuing. ​Summary A very strong resort with top-tier staff, great food, and a hassle-free lounge reservation policy. It sits comfortably in my top 15 stays, but extending the Sunset Bar hours, dropping the pay-wall on the pool bar, and adding pool drink service would push it up the list

Location of the hotel was very good near bars/ restaurants and the beach which was good. lots of sunbeds which can be booked using the app but also on days we forgot to book there was still beds available. Location of the hotel was very good near bars/ restaurants and the beach which was good. lots of sunbeds which can be booked using the app but also on days we forgot to book there was still beds available. I liked that there was a heated pool and a cold pool so we could pick and choose what we felt like. room was nice and good size and balcony had a size sea and pool view without us paying extra. One issue I had was people smoking c*nnabis near our balcony I assume other guests at the hotel and the smell was so strong we had to leave our balcony at one point however in hindsight we didn’t report this to reception as we didn’t know where it was coming from exactly but if we had maybe the problem would have been fixed. The only issue I took with the actual hotel was a lack of water fountains to fill up our water bottle, while we received one free water bottle on arrival this went quickly and we had to pay €2.50 per small bottle of water at the bar with no option to refill it at a water fountain. As we are a young couple we don’t have the budget to want to be spending money on water throughout the day having saved up a lot to be at this hotel, this left us feeling dehydrated throughout some of the days as we were reluctant to be spending our money on something we felt as though could be provided. We were half board so I assume this isn’t an issue for all inclusive. Overall it was a good holiday but those couple things could be improved.
