We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very enjoyable holiday. On our first day, we experienced an issue with our room and left negative feedback through the hotel app. To their credit, the hotel responded very quickly. We received a letter asking us to visit Reception and speak with Guest Relations. After explaining the problem, we were immediately shown an alternative room, which completely resolved the issue. Excellent customer service and a great example of staff taking feedback seriously. One of the highlights of our stay was that there were always plenty of sun loungers available. There was no need to reserve them early in the morning, which made for a much more relaxed holiday experience. Breakfast starts at 7am, which is ideal for early risers. The food in the main restaurant was generally good, with different themed evenings providing some variety. While we found some of the evening meals a little bland, there was always something available to suit most tastes. For lunch, we particularly enjoyed Brasserie El Mirador. The service from Liliana was exceptional. She always greeted us with a warm smile and remembered small details, such as our preference not to have water served. The à la carte lunch menu offered a good selection and was a welcome alternative to buffet dining when we wanted something lighter. The heated main pool was another positive. We often swam after breakfast and frequently had the pool almost to ourselves. The entire complex was kept very clean, and there was always a visible presence of maintenance and housekeeping staff working hard to maintain the facilities. We also attended Emma’s daily stretching classes. Emma was fantastic and happily adapted exercises to accommodate injuries, aches, pains, or medical conditions. The classes became one of the highlights of our holiday and provided a great opportunity to meet and chat with fellow guests. The evening entertainment was mixed. Some performances were excellent, while others were less enjoyable. We also felt the volume was unnecessarily loud given the size of the venue. Outside the hotel, we found that walks were much more enjoyable if we turned right onto the beachfront path. Unfortunately, some areas to the left, particularly around the main roads beyond the beachfront, felt less welcoming. We experienced people shouting obscenities and generally felt uncomfortable in those areas. Several guests also mentioned attempted bag-snatching incidents involving female visitors. Combined with the number of scooters travelling at speed on pavements, this made us less inclined to explore outside the hotel than we normally would. Despite these issues being outside the hotel’s control, we had a lovely stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were well maintained, and the hotel dealt with our initial room issue professionally and efficiently. We would happily stay with H10 again and will certainly be looking at other H10 properties for future holidays.
