Iberostar group is the best! Anthelia did not disappoint. Five star staff as usual. Food amazing, cooked in front of you. Everything fresh and hot. I have to criticise people on here that say it was repetitive. They have 3 meats/ fish made to order. They have a joint/fish at the side made/ salads/cold meats/ pizza/pasta/ breads/soups/sweets amongst everything else. Sun beds in abundance. Atmosphere is great. Location can’t beat. Two shopping centres in touching distance. Beach front! I would return in a minute! Only negative that I would say it is the only Iberostar we have stayed that the All Inclusive stopped at midday! Cmon guys for the price payed.

This hotel is fantastic. Staff really friendly and helpful. There for my husband’s 70th and had cake and bubbly in the room. Really good location

My honest review… This is a big hotel which feels safe and suits all travellers young/old, couples/families etc. There are filtered water stations throughout the hotel which save having to buy bottled water. My honest review… This is a big hotel which feels safe and suits all travellers young/old, couples/families etc. There are filtered water stations throughout the hotel which save having to buy bottled water. Gym is good, has everything you need with an indoor and outdoor area, available to use 24/7. Food - this is mostly good. Lots of options including freshly prepared items and healthy choices. However it is often the same things for lunch and dinner so feels repetitive, desserts also repetitive. However the biggest issue was the organisation and service in the restaurant, this really falls short of 5 star. Upon entering the restaurant you are asked for your room number, mid-way through eating you are then approached again by a different staff member asking for your room number (this seems totally unnecessary and is unsettling being questioned on multiple occasions every time). On one occasion I had seated at a table outside alone and was offered a drink by a member of staff. The next minute, a different larger male staff member approached me and told me I had to move from the table as another couple were waiting for a table outside (there was no reservation system so this was not clear at all). This was very embarrassing and intimidating being a young woman on my own. He was very loud about it and waved me off the table in front of other guests. I then went inside and found myself a table in the corner where I could sit and have my lunch. I felt nervous about entering the restaurant for the rest of our stay so this really had a negative impact on my experience. Location - is great, right on the beachfront, around 20 mins walk to La Caleta and just 5 minutes from lively bars and restaurants in Adeje. Las Americas is around 40 mins walk along the beachfront. It is very quiet despite being so close to everything. Pool areas - all beautiful and clean, plenty of sunbeds although these do get reserved early. 2 larger pools and 1 smaller heated pool again great for all ages. Staff - main manager, housekeeping staff, reception staff, pool bar staff and the animation team were all fantastic and couldn’t do enough for people. Rooms - we paid extra for a sea view double, the views from our balcony were stunning and the room was very quiet. The bed was huge and had comfy pillows. However there is wear and tear in the rooms and they need updating to really justify the 5 star rating. The phone in our room didn’t work, we experienced a couple of issues with little ants a few of the days but these were dealt with by housekeeping and the manager did continue to check on the situation with us and offered to move us to another room which was appreciated. The shower also continuously changed between hot and cold when using which wasn’t pleasant. Activities & entertainment - this was hit and miss. The daytime activities were better than the evening entertainment which again didn’t feel 5*. Overall, the hotel is nice and it does the job for a relaxing week away but improvements need to be made to justify a 5* status.
