2 time visiting this hotel and it did not disappoint, we had a great week, with parents (70's) , 40's, and kids 10 & 12. The Foam party was great, as was some other entertainment. The evening entainment wasn't as good as the previous year but still enjoyable, and the food was excellent for All Inclusive as was the drinks, plenty of sunbeds, however they are quite close to one another. Pool is very deep, something to be mindful of.

Absolutely loved it 🥰. Really spacious rooms, huge balcony with sunbeds, lovely food, best mojitos ever, staff are wonderful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥰🕶️

A last minute holiday to the sun and, in general, we liked the Iberostar Waves Las Dallas. It wasn’t amazing, but it certainly grew on us. So, the good and the bad: Good: Staff. Amazing. From the receptionists, to the incredible animation/entertainment team, to the cleaners, dining room staff, bar staff, all of them, they were brilliant. So attentive, polite and couldn’t do enough for you. A big shout out has to go to the Animation Team who were full of energy, did some great evening entertainment shows and were just so attentive and engaging. Food. For an all-inclusive buffet based experience, it was quite good! Plenty of choice and the restaurant only felt a little crowded on one occasion. Food was nice, plenty of stations and drinks dispensers, the only bit is the cooking station where they prepare hot meat for lunch and dinner can get backed up at times, and the morning omelette/scrambled eggs bar can too at breakfast, but that is only a minor moan. Bar. I’m not a big drinker, neither is my wife, but the staff were great and always engaging. No issues with serving you very good measures of shorts and the wait is absolutely minimal. Very good service and decent quality. Not-so-good but not-terrible. Room. I think we just got unlucky, but we were in two adjoining rooms which were rather disappointing at first glance. Woodchip wallpaper, not a great amount of space, but in truth they were fine. Plus side, the bathrooms were really good, but for us, the big downside was that we were located overlooking the road. Whilst that gave us good sea views (we weren’t in a ‘sea view’ room), we were overlooking a busy junction and the noise at night was quite annoying from the drinkers/holiday makers - I’m not talking early here, we were woken up a few times at 3am… but that isn’t the hotels fault, just drink enough so it doesn’t bother you. Also, the doors and trimmings were a little shabby and the room doors had big gaps around them which didn’t help rule late-night returners to the rooms, I think they’re updating the hotel rooms though and, as I say, we just lucked out. Pool Area. The pools are a bit dated but the main one is big and heated, the smaller one is not heated but the kids loved it anyway, and the baby pool seemed very good. There is an adult area at the back which is amazing for those wanting to escape - the only downside is you have to walk through the smoking area to get to it - why not just ban smoking in the hotel??? But, it does feel like they are cramming you in a bit. There is enough room, don’t get me wrong, but it isn’t spacious and luxurious around the pool areas, it’s pretty sardine like in places so be mindful. Also, the dreaded sun-beds… you need to be down before 8am to get a half decent one and they aren’t policed at all - lots of towels left on beds all day that aren’t used which is, to me anyway, very frustrating. We were fine though, the beds are comfy and there are enough, it’s just rather cozy. Entertainment Area. To be clear, the entertainment and bar staff (outside this is, we didn’t go to the sophisticated adult bar near reception which looked lovely) are both amazing. But, the space is again rather cramped. I’m not sure why they haven’t re-worked this to bring in some comfy sofas, spread out the tables in the evening, got better tables, but they haven’t. Does it ruin the night? No! But, could it be better? Absolutely. Summary. In summary, a nice hotel that did its job for us. The boys (8/11) were happy with the pools and we were close enough to walk out on the odd evening so it was fine. Would we go again… not sure. I wouldn’t hunt the hotel out again, but I would book again but I’d want to ensure I got a different room! In truth, I think it was our room and some more outdated areas of the hotel that would make that re-booking a consideration rather than guarantee, and also why my wife an I did wonder if it was really a 4* or a better than average 3*.

If I could have given a rating for the staff only they would get 5* they are a total credit to the hotel, entertainment team are exceptional and do so much. Buffet breakfast /lunch and dinner has many options if a bit repetitive for lunch and dinner. Poolside is a bit cramped you dont have much personal space sunbeds are crammed in. Rooms are basic and could do with a little bit of a refresh but clean and maintained everyday by the hardworking housekeeping team. Big screen in downstairs bar needs repaired as a few panels were out, not ideal when watching sport. Overall a decent stay and only falls short on a few small details that just doesn't quite get it a 5* review but if looking for a decent hotel with superb staff in a good location you wont go wrong booking here.
