This hotel is no where near what a lot of the reviews are saying. We had a great time. Rooms are modern, huge and very clean! Yes there was some queuing but it wasn’t bad at all and you get that at all hotels in the school holidays. We thought the token system was great, no spilt drinks everywhere and no glasses meant everywhere was so clean. Food was good and different choices every night. We found the entertainment great and the staff were great with kids especially in the daytime with various pool activities. Yes, the pool was slippy but like any pool you just needed to be careful. We particularly liked the terrace sunbathing deck which is near the pool snack bar. The food at lunch was great and we particularly liked the sandwiches and pasta salad pots. We didn’t use the restaurant at lunch so can’t comment on that. It was quite far away from the main towns but there is a shuttle bus from hotel (you need to book) or a local bus nearby which was easy to find and use. We found the staff really friendly especially on reception and the housekeeping. You cannot go wrong for the price at this time of year we would definitely visit again.

The hotel was great and in an ideal location, away from all the party strips and close enough to do a ten minute walk to an area of shops/bars etc along the beachfront. Although hilly, we managed the walk fine. For those that want to go into Los Cristianos or Las Americas there is a free shuttle bus (coach) which we booked upon arrival and had no issues with it being already full. We are glad we did this quickly to avoid disappointment. Other people were getting local taxis which were not overly expensive (do not use Uber!) The hotel itself was spotless and the rooms were very spacious. Upon arrival we wished we had been given more information about the layout of the hotel as it is across 4 buildings. The main building is block 1 where there is a small shop, a solarium, main pool where entertainment is held, bar, snack bar and main buffet restaurant. We discovered that block 4 is where the nightly entertainment is held. More information on this would have been very useful. The entertainment was amazing with thanks to Manuel who seems to be the main one out of the entertainment staff. He was so friendly and remembered our names throughout the whole holiday and got us involved in all sorts. We loved this because it made us laugh and gave us a personalised experience all the way up until we left. The poolside was very slippy and with having to go upstairs to the pool bar we had to be very careful every time we passed. Many people were slipping and falling over (mainly children.) We had to be out of the room for 8am every morning to ensure we got sunbeds and even then the ones nearest to the pool were already taken - we did expect this. Luckily there is a pool guy who helps with getting sunbeds and umbrellas for those coming down later and we never struggled to get somewhere round the pool. They also hand out notices saying that if you’re not back within 30 minutes your belongings will be removed and taken to reception. People were ignoring these warnings and seemed to laugh them off so more enforcement would be nice. Food was absolutely amazing. We were going to eat out of the resort but we truly had no need to. There was always something for everyone and the main restaurant had themed nights. We ate pizza, chips, rice, chilli con carne, lasagna, carved meat, pasta, the list goes on. The desserts were also great and didn’t taste the same like they do in some all inclusives. Yes, the restaurant got busy but it’s peak summer time so I don’t know what people expect. It was absolutely fine. The most we waited in line to get food was 2 minutes. The drinks were also great. The all inclusive had loads included in it such as numerous cocktails, slushes, hot drinks, branded pop and beer, sangria and all the wines on tap. The pop, water, beer, sangria and wines were all self serve but you could get it from the bar if you wanted fresh ice. There is a token system which we thought was a great idea. You pay a deposit when you arrive for a token and then swap this for a drink and keep exchanging until you’re done and get your token back for the next time you want a drink. We found that this worked excellently as no cups were left to accumulate ants, flies or wasps and it kept the pool area super clean. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely go back! People on these reviews are complaining about children and queues but it’s peak summer holiday time so what do you expect?! We found it very enjoyable and there’s only two of us - both adults!

Positives: 1) close to airport so long long transfers - hardly noticed planes; 2) ALL staff absolutely exceptional; 3) lots of choices of pools; 4) rooms spacious and clean; 5) hotel spotless; 6) choice from buffet restaurant was wide and well stocked; 7) entertainment during day and night was varied and for all age groups; 8) really well geared up for families; 9) all inclusive drinks choices decent; 10) no rowdiness or drunken behaviour. Negatives: 1) one free night in A la Carte restaurants was advertised, but we tried to book 2 days into our week stay and there was no availability (no cash alternative offered); 2) the usual bun fight for sunbeds in the morning but not sure what can be done about this; 3) free shuttle bus to Playa de Las Americas/ Los Christinos was advertised, but again tried to book and there were no places left ( again, no cash alternatives offered). Certainly the positives more than outweighed the negatives.

Honest review, first time here, and still here till the 14th here to celebrate our anniversary. we had private taxi transfer which was nice we arrived quickly, on arrival rooms were not ready, we had to wait till around 3pm for room we arrived at 11.30am bear in mind we had been up since 2am for a 6am flight. We paid extra for the upgrade club room which included separate areas to eat, room with air conditioning and own bar, nice big rooms which I cannot fault our room was huge had two bathrooms living area two balcony’s. Very clean room 1217 although hair dyer is faulty… will be asking for new one. Mini bar with selected drinks not many, be nice if it had fresh orange juice or something personally as can’t have pop. Overall the hotel is big but I find that on arrival your not given much information not even a map, so having to find places, it took us two days to figure out where everything was. block 4 which seems to be mainly families isn’t very nice to eat at personally for couples. For such a big hotel I think food is very limited and not very well flavoured that’s just personal preference. They do cater well for children it would seem. Also, according to their rules children are not allowed on there own without parents in the club areas but that’s not managed well because it always seem full of children unsupervised, which I don’t think should be allowed. As adults we go there to chill out and get cool. There are so many places for children to go on their own, just feel this should be managed better.
