We have had an amazing stay at Barceló Tenerife Royal Level. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, with all staff being friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. The Royal Level experience made our holiday feel extra special, with exclusive areas that were peaceful, relaxing and never overcrowded. The rooms were spacious, modern and impeccably clean, with housekeeping maintaining a very high standard throughout our stay. The food was excellent, offering plenty of variety at every meal, and the à la carte menus were a real highlight, providing delicious, high-quality dishes and a fantastic dining experience. One of our favourite aspects of the Royal Level was the pool area. The Bali beds and thick, comfortable sun lounger mattresses made relaxing by the pool an absolute dream and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds, fantastic pools and a lovely atmosphere throughout. We couldn’t fault our experience and would highly recommend the Royal Level to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday in Tenerife. We will definitely be returning!

“Really love it here”

This was our third visit to the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A couple of changes since we were last here. The Royal Level rooms have been refurbished and are lovely. Although the beds aren’t quite as comfortable as they were previously and the water pressure in the shower was also problematic. Shower temperature was hit or miss. Also, the Royal Level restaurant has been moved from its previous location down at the seafront into what was formerly the La Dolce Vita restaurant. This has its good points and bad points. It means Royal Level guests now have access to the full buffet at the same time as the RL à la carte menu, but you’re no longer able to sit outside with the lovely sunset and view along the seafront. I can see why it makes sense from an operational point of view though. The service we received in the Royal Level restaurant was excellent though, particularly from Radu who ensured our large party was seated together in the evenings and also arranged our complimentary visit to La Dolce Vita when we realised we had not received our vouchers for this. The service at the Royal Level pool was also excellent, it’s so nice having drinks brought to you rather than having to queue and wait for them. The pool was always fairly quiet and there is no need to get up early to reserve sunbeds, even when the areas around the other pools look full. We ate in the Breeze Bar every day, the Garlic Shrimp is a must! The service here was also great, particularly from Dani who was very friendly. The evening entertainment was mostly good, Tina Turner was fantastic as was the Freddie Mercury tribute act. On nights we didn’t fancy the entertainment we sat in the bar at reception. Cocktails were lovely in all of the bars, we ordered off-menu a few times and this was always accommodated. We did the Segway trip with Jose one day which was great fun and very reasonably priced, would highly recommend this. We also took a trip into Los Cristianos one day and visited Siam Park on another. Both highly recommended. One tip is to ask the hotel to call a taxi if needed, it’s far more reasonable than taking an Uber or booking online. It was a little disappointing that we didn’t receive our vouchers for a complimentary à la carte meal but thankfully we realised this before it was too late. We also had to request beach bags when others had these in their rooms on arrival. All in all we enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

This was one of the most relaxing holiday I have had in a while. The hotel was beautiful & very very clean, our room had a leak in the bathroom & we got moved fairly quickly to a different room & even got upgraded to all inclusive!! ( we were very happy & grateful). The staff I mean honestly every single staff member were so polite, helpful , smiley & went above & beyond to help I wish I remembered all of your names but Daiana was brilliant smiley & her customer service is 10/10. Cocktails were amazing my favourite was the Mojito which I replaced with tequila instead of rum ( get it in the strawberry version). The food was ok but plenty of options, the best place was at lunch time called ‘ Breeze’ absolutely delicious , those prawns 😍 & again all the staff were super friendly & smiley even though they work long hours ( all of them!! ) . Also their caramel frappe was absolute beautiful yum yum I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends & family, and I will be visiting this hotel again soon. They also have a bit for Kayaking in the hotel this was super fun & was beautiful. Local shops & a few restaurants maybe 10-15minutes walk from the hotel Also as a Royal level member we had access to a private part of the pool where you had to use your wrist band ( wrist band was used as your key to your room also) to access it, brilliant idea. Never felt overcrowded , never had to fight for a sunbed ( thank god haha). Everything is also very child friendly. Honeslty thank you so much for an amazing holiday & hope to see you soon. All of your staff are amazing & have great customer service!

“Another marvellous stay.”

Firstly I want to mention how wonderful the staff are. RL & other. Special mention to Valentin Kenny Noemi (Bar) Carmen Nieves )RL restaurant. Suite was perfect & well cared for & cleaned . Yes old but everything is there you need. Returning guests & always shall. Food is still out of this world. Some items like the Lobster have disappeared from the RL. restaurant. But standard still super high. Breakfasts seem better than ever but fruit.selection poor. Service always impeccable. Food at main buffet resto.where we took our lunch is superb. The waiter service for drinks in the RL section is excellent. Throughout the holiday.we were treated wonderfulfully. Thank you to all. Some suggestions to make a fantastic hotel even better. Technology is very much relied on & not reliable. We found ourselves locked out of our suite when neither of our bracelets or key cards would work. This was handled impeccably however. Also access to outside walkway by RL.pool often locked people out of the property. This has potential serious ramifications for female guests returning to hotel.at night. There is a bell push to connect with reception but that also does not connect. An evening RL bar is very much needed. The other small main pool bar has limited seating. The RL pool.bar is just crying out to be used for this. There is also a lovely garden bar behind the RL restaurant which is never used. Between the two we could have the most marvellous facility. The holiday was to celebrate my husband's birthday & he loved it. A piece of card was left in the room wishing him HB & a few sweets but no customary bot of Cava. Similarly none either for returning guests or My Barcelo Uniaue members as is always the case at all other RLs. But never mind, we always love Tenerife RL.as one of our absolute favourites. Be back soon for another wonderful 2 weeks.
