“Great modern accommodation”

The Suites are located across from the hotel in the Santa Catalina district of Las Palmas. It is one Block away from the Parque de Santa Catalina, where there are several restaurants/ bars all serving good food at reasonable prices, there are also many other restaurants in the area. There are a good number of supermarkets all within a 500m radius as well as numerous shops. It is also located near the bus station and cruise ship harbour, transport museum and aquarium. It is a 5 minute walk to the main beach to the east of the city and slightly more to the beach with the massive harbour area, both beaches and very clean. The room was clean and well equipped and had a double sofa bed in the lounge/ kitchen and two twin beds (linked together) in the bedroom. A large smart TV in the living area and a wall mounted TV in the bedroom. The Wi-Fi was excellent and streaming was possible without any issues ( some previous customers had left Netflix on the TV, thanks). the kitchen had a four plate ceramic hob and a combined oven and grill, both with easy to use timers. The washing machine / drier was excellent to use. Unlike other reviews we had no issues with noise, other than one night when the music festival was on in the park, we were located on the fifth floor and we found that closing the external shutters at night kept the road noise out. There is also air-conditioning in the lounge and bedroom and it has numerous settings to ensure that you can be comfortable cool and quiet all night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and any requests were quickly and pleasantly dealt with. The only addition we would have liked would be a couple of bar stools to use at the breakfast bar We would definitely use this accommodation again

“Rooftop bar is super!”

The rooftop bar deserves a separate mentionning on Tripadvisor! Its staff, cook Lara and waiters Laetitia and José, is just fantastic. At midday, you get a menu for 13€ only on this trendy rooftop. The rooftop bar deserves a separate mentionning on Tripadvisor! Its staff, cook Lara and waiters Laetitia and José, is just fantastic. At midday, you get a menu for 13€ only on this trendy rooftop. At evening they say they only serve snacks and drinks, but I assure you it was more than enough for dinner! Great sight as well! Come and try it out! It was great to have the roof for ourselves, but Ibex deserves better

“Need to up date room photos.”

Arrived and were given total different apartment to the photos given by jet2 and the Bex holiday homes,we paid extra for a 1 bedroom suite with large kitchen,dining area with table/chairs etc,where given a small apartment with a breakfast bar with no seating,complained to the unit helpful male and … more

Arrived and were given total different apartment to the photos given by jet2 and the Bex holiday homes,we paid extra for a 1 bedroom suite with large kitchen,dining area with table/chairs etc,where given a small apartment with a breakfast bar with no seating,complained to the unit helpful male and female receptionist who just said 1 bedroom American style,Americans have stools to sit on! So we complained to jet2 who advised us to check if there where any different apartments so off we went to reception again,we'll this time a lovely very pleasing helpful receptionist called Victoria was on duty who couldn't do enough to help,she arranged for us to exchange apartments the next day and it was lovely,thankyou Victoria so much,the photos on both the jet2 and Bex holiday home Web sites 1 bedroom need to be changed,other wise the apartments have everything just like home,after our 1st day we really enjoyed our stay,if only the other receptionists could have been has professional has Victoria.

“€27 to clean room, €10 to change towels.”

No cleaning or change of towels included despite our stay of 7 days. We rented a 2 bed apartment - the shower was dismal and the bathroom door didn’t close or open properly - my Wife got stuck a couple of times and required rescue. No cleaning or change of towels included despite our stay of 7 days. We rented a 2 bed apartment - the shower was dismal and the bathroom door didn’t close or open properly - my Wife got stuck a couple of times and required rescue. The accommodation is just ok - cheap furnishings, cheap, fairly uncomfortable beds. Cleaning isn’t included and is chargeable at €27 per visit, if you want clean towels they’ll charge €10. The Bex hotel in which breakfast is served is approx. 150 meters distant and requires the crossing of a busy road with a long wait for traffic lights. In summary, ok if you have too but definitely not recommended for families with small children.
