Rooms are clean and spacious, entertainment was good and finished at a decent hour. Helpful if you need to change rooms due to disabilities. Amazing value for money and food was amazing and a good assortment, breakfast is always the same but no complaints at all. Staff are really friendly and as a family and we have really enjoyed this holiday.

We booked this holiday so last minute ( 6days before we arrived ! ) I got a little anxious on the coach ride from the airport, wondering if I’d made a rash decision because of the price we paid ( 52%off and all inclusive for 7 nights) Wow!!!! This place did not disappoint!!! I can’t fault it at all From every member of staff to the food , the rooms , the cleanliness I can’t praise this place enough !!! We’ve had the best 7 nights and the best holiday !!!

“7th time at this hotel”

I hate giving good reviews for Tamaimo Tropical because it makes more and more people go and gives away the secret. But here goes just arrived back after 12 nights, this being our 7th time here. As you can see we love it, I always said I would never be that person who goes to the same place all the time but I have become that person. But to be fair all the staff, accommodation, and cleanliness keeps us coming back. The only downside this time was that it got super busy at the weekend busier than we have experienced but non the less still got sunbeds, we still got food although heard of queues at peak times in the restaurant but we always go early and never had a problem. This time we used the courtesy room which we couldn't fault at all, nice and clean and enough time to freshen up before our 23:45 flight. It's going to be hard to remember most the names of the staff that made our stay as I have forgotten a few of the bar staff names but to the Animation crew: Davide, Oceanna, Tatiana, Ana, Alan, Ryan, Dominik, and of course Bart Bart Bart Bart you guys really are the best at what you do I really hope most of you decide to return but I know some of you have plans. But thank you for making our 13 days here the best we love you!! To the Bar/restaurant staff: Octavio, Carlos, Said, Isaac, Otamne, and to the others especially 2 gentlemen in the evening I did not make note of their names thank you for all your hard work and still giving lots of smiles and making our stay even more wonderful. The new drinks token system works but I would recommend for people to take their own cups (bigger) as the one drink rule means more trips to the bars. Whether they stop the own cup thing who knows. The one thing that needs ironing out is getting tokens back in the evening is a lengthy process especially if the bar is busy so we just took our dirty cups back to our room until the next day. The cups mostly get changed for clean ones anyway by all staff for each drink. We really enjoyed all the evening entertainment especially both of the magic shows and of course the Karaoke is always lots of fun. We will be returning again for sure 💯 and I can say this whole stay we only saw one cockroach. We always stay on the bottom floor around room 138-146 and can not fault the cleanliness. Please all have fun and go on holiday here and form your own opinions!!

I read the reviews for this hotel in the departure lounge at the airport and, to be honest, I was absolutely dreading it. I was travelling alone with my teenage children, and while I’m used to a decent standard of hotel, this was meant to be a simple, budget-friendly getaway in the sun. That said, it was really important to me that it wasn’t noisy and that it was clean, with polite staff—something previous reviews suggested might be an issue. In reality, we didn’t have a single problem. Pros: We had a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor, which was a good size. It overlooked the pool and had a lovely balcony, and everything was clean on arrival. Housekeeping came daily—they did a fairly basic clean and made the beds, but for a one-week stay, this was perfectly adequate. Fresh towels were available every day if needed. And we never heard late-night music or early-morning maintenance (and we like to sleep in). There are two pools: one that tends to be busier and noisier, with children playing quite energetically, and another, quieter pool that is much more relaxed. We usually headed down in the late morning and never had trouble finding sunbeds. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. There were also daily activities like yoga and Pilates, plus other optional entertainment. The food was standard buffet fare. I imagine it can get quite busy during peak season, but it worked well for us. I generally like buffet options, though it can get a bit repetitive—hard to know what more they could realistically offer. There’s also an Italian restaurant on site. Just down the road, there’s a small shop and a few reasonably priced restaurants, which were a nice alternative. Cons: The main downside is the location if you’re expecting a traditional beach holiday. There isn’t a proper beach within walking distance—apparently, there is one a short taxi ride away, but nothing easily accessible on foot. The coastal area nearby isn’t ideal for long walks, and the scenery isn’t quite what you might expect from a classic beach destination. It’s also about a £35 taxi ride to the main resorts in Tenerife. Overall: For a budget-friendly getaway, I would absolutely return. It delivered everything we needed for a relaxed week in the sun.
