“Amazing”

Amazing hotel, lovely spacious room, great facilities. Pools were beautiful. Friendly staff. Fast smooth check in and out, food options was very good. Everything was clean and tidy. Transfer not to long.

Just returned from a 4 day mini break with a friend. We were a bit dubious as some of the reviews have been a bit off, however, I am a believer in a holiday is what you make it and we had a great time. Room: we were really lucky with our room, despite being AI we had a fab room with a toaster, microwave, hob and fridge with crockery, pots and pans. The beds were really comfy, the towels were whiter than some I have used in a 5 star and whilst basic, it provided everything we needed and more and was very spacious. Our balcony overlooked the quieter pool which was lovely.m, a bit noisy at night, but there’s nothing wrong with the sound of families having fun! Pool: can’t comment on the temperature as we didn’t use it, but both pools were clean as well as the surrounding areas. Food: we only ate dinner in the restaurant as we were late nights and late mornings, but dinner provided a great choice of food, which was always hot, not sure why there are so many comments about luke warm food as this certainly wasn’t the case. My friend is gluten intolerant and a lovely lady in the restaurant called Sandra assisted her each evening with getting her gluten free bread and getting the chef to come and advise what she could eat, staff like Sandra make life a lot nicer when you have intolerances and need support, we are so grateful to her. On our last night she bought out some gluten free cake which was such a lovely touch. Wine, sangria and beer on tap, along with soft drinks and ice cold water was a great touch! Staff: every staff member we spoke to was so friendly and really helpful. From bus timetables to keycards locked in the room and requests for extra towels, nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a smile. Whilst we didn’t watch the entertainment from the seating we did watch some from the balcony and they always managed to get everyone involved and were brilliant with the kids. We did spend some time at the larger pool in the evenings where it was quieter which was really nice. All in all we had a great break, at a great price and would definitely return.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Tamaimo Tropical and had a really great time. Certainly one of the nicest 3 star hotels we've stayed in. Travelled as a group of 5 (me, partner and 3 younger adults) and stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious enough for us all. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the animation team were full of energy. Hotel looked to be pretty well maintained and clean throughout. Food at the restaurant and the snack bar was perfectly good for an all inclusive, a little repetitive but nothing to really complain about, plenty of choice and could always find something to be satisfied with. The queues for food and drinks at certain times in the restaurant and the bars was the only slight downside. Sunbeds were never an issue to find for all of us either. The quiet pool does make a nice change from the noisier activities of the main pool area if that's not your thing. Oh and you can hire pool towels now from reception if you don't want to bring your own. There are a few nice bars and restaurants around the back of the hotel if you don't fancy the walking up hills. Los Gigantes is not too far of a walk either and the harbour there is nice too. Would definitely return

3rd year here and yet again did not disappoint. I honestly think some people review a different hotel when I read some of the reviews we came as a family of 12 this year and had 4 rooms, 2 x 2 bedroom apartments & 2 x 1 bed apartments. Every room ready on arrival and clean and remained clean throughout whole stay thanks to the hard work by the cleaning team. Reception staff welcoming and helpful at every interaction. Big shout out to Charlotte who we have had pleasure of dealing with every visit and to the man ( can’t remember his name ) who checks us in each time when we arrive around midnight on a late night flight in. Restaurant was always kept clean and tables cleared very quickly ready for next people to come in. Food is plentiful and even with a couple extremely fussy eaters we were all happy and enjoyed our meals. Shout out to Sandra in restaurant always greeted with a big smile and friendly hello and went out way to find suitable table for large party when we were altogether also moving chairs etc to accommodate wheelchair. Pool area spotless and with the new token for cup system this year a huge difference to spilt drinks and a hundred cups left lying about by people who don’t know how to tidy up after themselves. Entertainment team for 3rd year running we’re all different people and they were fantastic, Davide amazing guy and brings such fantastic energy and whether u participate or not in activities always stops to say hi and speak to u. Bark and Dominik also deserve a big shout out as they were such lovely guys and always made time for us as well. Overall another fantastic 2 weeks here, would we return? Absolutely!!!
