This hotel exceeded our expectations after reading some of the reviews. Our transfer was around and hour and we arrived at the hotel close to midnight. There was a few people to check in and the staff explained everything and were very helpful and polite. Our room (408) was very clean and the beds were comfy and the AC worked fine. We had a balcony and we over looked the main pool which was great! The rooms were cleaned everyday and the cleaners always happy and polite too. The following morning we went down and put out our own sun loungers and parasols which is quite nice as then can go pretty much anywhere you want. We were all inclusive so went to the restaurant that opened 8.30-10.30. The choice was great, and the food was nice! Yes I guess could have been a bit warmer but It was fine. There was a few birds but that’s to be expected and they were outside. We went to the shop to get an inflatable which is just to the right as you go out of the hotel … next to the shop is a slope and there is beautiful walks to left and to the right( we preferred right) some wonderful views( also a lovely restaurant , Pergola)Also if you don’t take the slope down and carry on along there’s a lovely bit to see a beautiful sunset and if you carry on walking for about 20 minutes there is a black beach which was busy. We didn’t use this as no life guards and was a bit choppy. Anyway, we bought a lilo but wasn’t allowed to take this in the pool although there was huge ring type ones ( I think maybe you can’t get trapped under one of them 🤷🏻‍♀️) silly to be told to take in the baby pool though! We went back and got a ring! The pool was absolutely freezing although did start to warm up a little as we left! Water aerobics was fun, Davide really got everyone in the spirit and there was lots of laughs! The food at the pool bar(11-5ish)looked very unappetising but to be fair it was fine, chips, burgers, nachos, toasties, although maybe not the chicken nuggets and the little ice cream that were included were nice too. The guys at the pool bar were chatty and friendly! As we left the queues were getting longer for drinks but there is another bar over at the smaller quiet pool. We had some lovely night as we would go out after dinner, we did stay for the entertainment one night which was karaoke and my girls loved having a go! Opposite the hotel there are steps and there is some lovely walks to the right and to the left there is Lidl. This way up to Lidl is also where you get the bus from. We went to plays de las americas on the bus and it took about 1hr on the 477 , 4 euros each , each way. Siam Park is a must if you like water parks. My daughter (23&9) had the best day! We got a transfer from the hotel is was &145 euros for us 3 with transfer and park tickets. We did however pay 76 euros for 2 fast passes which you can get from the shop near the lockers! I’m not sure how many slides they would have managed without it! ( these sell out quickly). The tables were cleared promptly and politely and there was no rush. Again it did start getting a bit busier as we left. We did go to the Italian one night which you need to book and the food there was nice. Pizza, lasagne, cannelloni, pasta, doughnuts, chocolate fountain and chocolate ice cream machine. Back to the hotel , we always found something to eat and there was lots of variety, sometimes random but that’s what you expect. Sometimes the card key seemed to not work but if you persevere they do! The lift was broken sometimes too but these things happen at every hotel! The entertainment team are great and keep everyone happy, they aren’t pushy but work Hard my daughter loved the water polo and the mat across the pool! We really had a wonderful holiday here and were sad to leave. I do think if you had smaller children, under 5 it may be a struggle to fill your time as no park or little splash area and little shade. All in all we were very happy with the hotel. We got a great deal and for the price it was absolutely money well spent! Thankyou to all at the hotel for a wonderful holiday! 🎉

We had a self catering apartment within this hotel rather than all inclusive but after sampling one evening meal service we opted to eat in the hotel restaurant every evening as the food was excellent and varied. Our apartment was spacious and overlooked the main pool so sometimes we chose to sit on our balcony and people watch. We opted to hang out by the quieter pool for much of the time. We were impressed by all the staff, especially our cleaner Sandra, who was always cheerful and did a spectacular job of making our apartment look great every day. We couldn't fault the location. Quite a short walk to Los Gigantes and the harbour where we loved the atmosphere, scenery and the home made ice creams! We really recommend this hotel. It was very good value and with TUI it included airport transfers.

I really cant get my head around the negative reviews about this Beautiful hotel ,we have just come back from an amazing holiday, the staff at the hotel work there socks off to go out of there way to help you ,we went self catering but upgraded €30 each €15 for children per day to eat and drink as much as you want a total bargain, two pool areas all kept lovely and clean ,food was lovely and great selection, snack bar open all day serving hot food ,please ignore the negative comments it is a lovely hotel and some people are just waiting for God ,Thank you for making our dreams come true, Paul Crook and family room 447 ❤️xxxx

Stayed here last week on an all inclusive basis, arriving around tea time on Friday. Check-in was quick and seamless. We were the only family checking-in and we were in our room within 20 minutes. The room was basic. A double bed and a sofa that splits into two singles. There was a small balcony and seperate bathroom with toilet, sink and walk-in shower. There was a small fridge in the wardrobe, a safe (key available for a 10 Euro deposit) and a flat-screen TV that we didn’t use. There was no kitchen area as these are only in self -catering apartments. The beds were reasonable and sheets were clean. There were some duvets in the wardrobe for colder nights. Room cleaning was really good. They came every day, swept, mopped, emptied bins, cleaned bathroom, made beds and delivered fresh towels. Facilities in the hotel were ok. The pools were big enough to cater for everyone and there were spare sunbeds most days. There was no beach towel exchange facilities - take your own. There was a small gym (max 4 people at a time) with some free weights, a bench, a multi-gym machine, treadmill, cross trainer and bike. It was rarely busy. They also have two tennis courts. There are two bars outside (one at each pool) and a small bar near reception. Queues were reasonable. Local spirits for all inclusive. There was additional charges for slush machine and branded ice creams. The entertainment team kept activites going during the day. The usual hotel type games. There was also a kids club for younger kids and they always seemed to be happy when they came out. There were some negatives that droppd my rating a 3/5. Whilst the food in the restaraunt was ok quality wise, it was rarely hot. There are a few microwaves in the restaurant but ideally, they need to have better facilities to keep food hot. At peak times, there were sometimes excessive queues for food… although rarely queues for a table. Options for kids seemed a bit limited and repetative. The snack bar by the pool was open most of the day. It was kept well stocked with burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chips, toasties and nacho’s. The chicken nuggets were very cheap and it was exactly the same every day. They often put a few pizza’s out but these were gone in seconds… perhaps the hotel could ensure that the pizzas are put out more often as they were very popular! The rules around the pool were a little confusing at first too. Only float rings allowed in the main pools. No shaped floats, like animals or flat floats… but these were allowed in the shallow / tiny kids pool. Balls allowed, but only in the pools, not around the pools. Some lifeguards policed this vigorously, others weren’t so bothered… depends who is on duty. There was nowhere in the hotel grounds or in the local area for kids to kick a football about. Evening entertainment was really lacking. We ate out a few nights to enjoy some hot food. There were some nice local bars and restaurants within a minute or two walking distance and a number of supermarkets and souvenir shops. Take no notice of the horror stories though… overall we had a good holiday, but some areas could be improved.
