This hotel is amazing. Staff are very attentive and the lunchtime Muelle restaurant is gorgeous especially when being served by Sandra and Vanesa. Thank you so much. Will be back next year.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel! The hotel came highly recommended to us by our friends and we now can see why! HOTEL: the hotel itself is spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful. They ban reserving the sun-beds which we loved as there was no rush to wake up early in the morning to get one; one of the pools didn’t even open until 10:00am so you could enjoy a relaxed breakfast and not worry about not having a sun-bed for the day. There are two pools open to everyone which were both lovely, one with entertainment and one quieter one. We used both equally and loved that you had the option of a livelier pool or a more relaxing one. There is also an infinity pool which we didn’t go in as it’s only for platinum guests but also looked amazing and is probably the most relaxing pool of the three. ROOMS: very lovely rooms also kept immaculately clean. Balconies huge as well with dedicated space to hang out wet clothes and towels. We had a triple room which I was nervous about as I was on the sofa bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and we all got great quality sleep. Also had a lovely long mirror (the girls will appreciate this one🥰), aircon that was kept at the perfect temperature and a lovely big wardrobe with lots of space to put your stuff, even with three people in the room. Only critique is that you have to pay to use the safe (think it was €3/day), but apart from that the rooms were amazing! FOOD: this was my family’s first all-inclusive, so this was the part I was most nervous about. The food is very very good and impressed all of us with the quality on offer. In the buffet restaurant the dishes all were consistently different night after night so you didn’t get tired of the food at all. The snack bar by the pool was also very good, doing your typical pizza, hot dogs, burgers etc but was always fresh and perfect for if you don’t want a heavy lunch. There were also two evening à la carte restaurants you could go to once each for a weeks stay, and the food in both of those were also of an amazing standard. We also won a meal in a raffle for the à la carte lunch restaurant which is included for platinum guests only where we found some of the best food of the hotel, so if you are paying for platinum take advantage of here as the food is incredible! Only critique is that the à la carte restaurants have limited options for vegetarians, so just keep this in mind if anyone in your party is a veggie. STAFF: this was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. Every single member of staff that we spoke to was lovely and attentive and felt genuine. We especially loved George on the bar as he was very friendly and absolutely hilarious😂. We were particularly wowed by the animation team who in the day and night kept the hotel feeling fun and lively. To Anton, Manu and Irene, thank you for giving us a fab time. We would also like to say a extra special thank you to Andrea who made us feel so welcome and was especially lovely to my dad and really made his holiday one to remember, she is a very special member of staff and a credit to the team! PLATINUM: we did not book the platinum, and just wanted to put out there some of my thoughts on whether you miss out if you don’t upgrade as I was confused on what you get alcohol wise if you don’t upgrade when booking. You do get some branded spirits included with the regular all inclusive (eg. Beefeater gin, Jim Bean, Bacardi), but if branded drinks are important to you then the platinum upgrade is one to consider as you get Bombay sapphire, baileys, Malibu etc. You do get some cocktails included on the all inclusive as well (e.g, slushie cocktails at the pool bar, premixed sex on the beach and Pina colada, freshly made mojitos), but if you want aperol, espresso martini and other classic cocktails then upgrade to platinum to get these. I don’t think you miss out if you don’t upgrade as the beers, wines and spirits on offer are already great, but upgrade if you want to use the infinity pool, the à la carte lunch resturant and a wider selection of branded alcohol. Overall, we had an amazing stay and are already in talks of coming back next year!❤️

We had a excellent week at Landmar Playa La Arena. We have booked 4/5* hotels in the past and have been disappointed as they haven’t really lived up to their rating. This hotel however is a good 4 star that lived up to the information on the easyJet website. Nice swimming pools, decent food, good staff and generally nice and relaxed compared to some all inclusives we have been on before. No problems getting sun loungers. My wife queued for about 15-20mins in the morning as she wanted to be in a certain area but even after 10am you could get a lounger if you didn’t mind where it was. Entertainment team were good and friendly. We did archery, French bowls, Pilates and the gym was decent as well. They even called out at the evening show that it was my birthday! I would give 4.5 score if I could. Just a couple of minor things around replenishment of coffee and cups in room that stopped me giving full score.

Beautiful hotel with stunning surroundings, but some areas need attention The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are lush, green, and very well maintained, with lovely water features and calming music playing throughout the day, creating a really relaxing atmosphere. The drinks were great they even had a fake Aperol spritz for the all inclusive that were not on the platinum rate , I liked the self-serve concept for many of the soft drinks . The queues were generally reasonable, although the drinks system did break down for a day, which was disappointing, but these things happen. The pizza was fantastic, and I also loved the little bags of chips and Nuggets available during the day. The white bar upstairs is gorgeous and has a lovely atmosphere every thing does close around 10.30 music wise even the singer in the bar so we had taken our own speaker to help as we didn’t want the night to end at 10.30 Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the holiday down. The biggest concern was around the pool. There didn't seem to be anyone regularly monitoring the area, and on one particularly windy day all of the pool umbrellas were blown over. One umbrella narrowly missed hitting me, and a large piece marquee flew into the pool. It felt genuinely dangerous, and there were no staff around to deal with it. I ended up taking a photo and walking to reception to report it. To their credit, they immediately sent people down, who then began tying down the Platinum cabanas. We even joked that we felt like the passengers on the Titanic who were left or rot when the upper class passenger's were looked after first The rooms could also do with a few improvements. You receive one reusable water bottle, but there were three of us staying, so ideally each guest should have their own. There weren't any drinks or even bottled water in the minibar, which was disappointing for an all-inclusive resort. It would also be great to see an ice cream or crepe station by the pool bar, as that would really add to the daytime experience. Some of the restaurant staff didn't seem particularly happy, especially at breakfast. The chef, who had large plasters covering both ears, came across as quite intimidating, and several other guests commented that he looked like he really didn't want to be there. A smile goes a long way in hospitality. One thing to be aware of is the Platinum areas. They look lovely, but if you're travelling with children you can't book Platinum, so you do sometimes feel like a second-class guest seeing areas and facilities that aren't available to you. Overall, it's a very attractive hotel with some excellent food and drinks, but there are a few operational issues that need improving. Personally, I probably wouldn't return to a Landmar resort. Next time I'd rather pay a little more for somewhere that includes a stocked minibar, better pool service, and a few extra touches like a crepe or ice cream station. My housekeeping team were amazing though and made my towels into swans which we loved Overall rating: 3.5–4/5. Beautiful surroundings, but the guest experience could be much better.
