Stayed here last week and it’s probably one of the best hotels we have stayed at. There was lots for the kids to do, mini golf, high ropes, table tennis, tennis, football. My kids didn’t go to the kids club so can’t comment on that. The pools were fab and my kids loved the slides. We based ourselves up at the pool beside block c which is the “quiet pool”, but we liked this. Still had music and kids were allowed their inflatables in the pool. It just had less activities and was less busier than main pool. We had a landi room in block c, which was perfect and can’t fault the room. It was my son’s birthday when we were there and the staff dropped off a birthday card and sweeties which was a lovely touch. My other son had an accident at the mini golf (involving his brother and too much of a swing on his golf club) and all the staff that helped us were amazing and really took care of us. They also dropped off sweets and a get well soon card at our room the next day which was so appreciated. We didn’t do à la carte restaurants so can’t comment on those, but we loved the buffet. So much selection and my boys were happy with the ice cream and pizza on offer. The hotel is so clean and spotless and any staff we spoke to were lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the views out to the sea are spectacular. We will defo be back and hope to book to come again next year.

I really wanted to leave a positive review because the staff genuinely try their best, but unfortunately I don't feel this hotel offers good value for the money we paid. I am in the middle of our stay in an Ocean View Suite. While the furniture in the living and bedroom areas appears to have been recently updated, the suite as a whole feels very outdated. The wardrobes are old and have an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom is in need of renovation. The bathtub is awkward to shower in if you're a tall adult, there are visible mold spots, and the tub itself shows signs of wear and damage. A nice touch is that every bedroom has a TV with casting support, which worked well. The air conditioning is another weak point. It's very old and difficult to operate. In one bedroom it barely works at all, and even the better unit doesn't cool according to the temperature settings—you have to set it to around 15°C just to get a comfortable room temperature of about 23°C. The beds were probably our biggest disappointment. Instead of a proper king or queen bed, you get two separate single beds on wheels. They constantly move apart, and after every housekeeping visit we had to push them back together and lock the wheels again. Even then, they weren't particularly comfortable. The bedding also feels poorly designed: the duvet sits loosely between two sheets and shifts around all night, the fitted sheet won't stay in place, and each person gets just one oddly shaped long, thin pillow. What made sleeping even worse was the lack of soundproofing. The old windows seem to let every sound through. We were regularly woken around 7 a.m. by cleaning activity, birds, conversations, coughing, or ringing phones. On top of that, there were city fiestas with loud music and fireworks that often continued until around 2 a.m. for several nights during our stay. I understand that's not the hotel's responsibility, but better windows and sound insulation would have made a huge difference. Earplugs weren't really an option for me because I'm travelling with a child and need to be able to hear him. The food is decent overall, but not exceptional. Adults will generally find enough choice. Our child struggled much more. The chicken nuggets were dark inside and unappetizing, and many pasta dishes came with mixed sauces rather than a simple plain option. Families with children who are used to a wider variety of foods may not have the same issue, but ours certainly did. One thing I really appreciated was the drinks selection. Sparkling water and properly chilled still water are available throughout the hotel, which isn't always the case at all-inclusive resorts. The wine selection was also surprisingly good—you can pour yourself wine and sparkling wine directly from bottles kept on ice instead of using dispensers, which is a nice touch. I can't really comment on the animation team because my child doesn't speak English or French, so he wasn't able to participate in the activities. The shops inside the hotel are genuinely convenient, with a good range of useful items at prices that didn't feel excessive. One thing that was particularly frustrating was the sunbed situation. The hotel has rules announced that reserving sunbeds is prohibited and that unattended towels will be removed by staff. In reality, this rule simply isn't enforced. Sunbeds are "reserved" with towels from early morning every day. I do feel for the staff—they work hard to keep the property clean and tidy—but there's only so much they can do when the building itself has mold in the corridors, cracked tiles, and clear signs of age throughout. If you managed to book this hotel as a fantastic last-minute bargain, you might come away with a different opinion. Unfortunately, that wasn't our situation. We paid a premium for our family holiday and instead of feeling relaxed, we've spent much of the trip tired from poor sleep and disappointed by the overall standard of the accommodation. The best memories we've made in Tenerife have all happened outside the hotel.
