First let me put some context to the review. This is a 3 star hotel so it isn’t going to compare to a 4 or 5 star for food. The bungalows/apartments could do with some tlc with the odd crack in the paint and damp patches on the bathroom ceiling, however they’re functional. The pool area is nice as is the restaurant. However, for £2000 for a week of all inclusive, we had a great time. The staff are all extremely friendly, the drinks are free poured and the choice of food is very good. The lunch menu was a bit bland but the house pizza for lunch was superb. The negatives. The area outside the hotel is lacking in anything bar the odd supermarket. It’s half an hour to the beach, there is a shuttle bus but it was always full whenever we tried to get it. The beach doesn’t have much round it. The Tui reps don’t tell you when they’re coming and the one time they turned up an old dear spent an hour with the rep talking about nothing, then the rep left before anyone could book a trip. None of this is the fault of the hotel so hasn’t impacted the score. This place is lovely for a quiet week. Would we go back? No, not because the hotel is poor but we like to have places to go nearby at night. If you want a nice quiet hotel with superb staff then this is ideal.

Bungalow were basic but suitable for 2. Good shower with decent water temp. A/C definitely needed a service. General wear and tear in and around the bungalow itself. Bedding had holes, stained but was clean. Beds were comfortable. Tiny fridge, kettle. Soles of our feet were black from the floor inside so needs a deep clean. Around the pool the floors were dirty and for the week we were there not cleaned. Some of the sunbeds also needed a deep clean. Staff were excellent. Drinks and snacks from Pool bar reasonable. Excellent bus service to and from the hotel, last bus returns at 5.30 so always had to get a taxi. Dino supermarket 10 Mins away. Holiday world is great for an evening out , roof top bar and street food. It is remote, quiet which we liked. Taxis are cheap. My general opinion it would be excellent if the grounds, bungalows, areas were cleaned, Needs TLC

The location is not very convenient if you want to visit the shops or beach. They do put on a free bus to the beach which is an approx 30min walk. The shop is 10min but not clearly signed. Google took us the long way around (30min) The atmosphere is very quiet. We were the only ones under 50 for a day it two, then a couple of families turned up. I would not recommend this for families. It's far too quiet and they're not allowed balls in the pool. There is no entertainment for them either. BTW the 'entertainment ' is dire. We had to go into the main town for this. We also went to Puerto Rico ( 30 min in taxi) for a boat ride and other activities. The rooms are basic but lovely. 1 double bed and 1 single. I highly recommend you bring your own towels. They ones they give you are the size of hand towels! If you want a beach towel it's 10 Euro minus 1. They will also charge you 1 euro each time you swap it for a cleaner one. The beds are comfortable enough. The shower is great. Tv in both living and bedroom. Although it took them 2 days to fix ours! We asked that our room are cleaned daily. Only 1 bin in the apartment. Cups & glasses stacked up. They only made the beds & changed towels. The all inclusive option is not really up to par. The food is good enough but the drinks aren't. No branded drinks & wine like battery acid. They start serving drinks at 11am to 5pm then 6pm.-11pm.No snacks at all. So you'll need to find a shop. A buffet for breakfast and tea. The chefs station is your best choice. You have to order from a menu for lunch which takes a long time as there's usually 1 person serving for both food & drinks. The staff are absolutely amazing. I can't fault them at all. They just need to hire more. No queuing for sunbeds which is good, but I recommend the beds in the quiet area for 5 Euro a day. The pool is slightly heated and basic. They also have a gym. Sadly I would not come back again. This hotel is more suited for the more mature person or someone who just wants peace and quiet. I realise this is a 3 🌟 hotel, but just expected a little better.

About half an hour level walk to the nature reserve and beach. Hotel runs a small free bus during the day but this ends at 5pm. Taxis are available and about 6 euros. We came last in 2024. The all inclusive has been pared back in terms of the range and quality of drinks. Breakfast is ok, lunch gets very repetitive as it’s ordered off a menu, either fried stuff or a simple salad. Dinner was the worst meal. Low quality food, overcooked vegetables, meat tended to be tough. Salad selections good. If you like to eat early, 6 6.30 you’ll be ok. Any later, all the good stuff is gone. I don’t agree with food waste but it’s easy to spot the mornings biscuits dunked into angel delight as an evening dessert. Housekeeping was good on some days, poor other days with damp towels re folded which you assume are clean. Worst is the poor soundproofing in the bungalows. If your neighbours are noisy, as ours were, sleep is difficult. Public areas are clean and well maintained. Bar and restaurant staff work hard. If your expectations are budget 3 star then you won’t be disappointed. For us we would not return, it’s no longer value for money.
