Fantastic accommodation, plus it's situated in a great location. The area is upmarket and by far one of the best beaches in the world, super clean and huge... plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets, shops, and the surrounding area is well maintained, beautifully landscaped and isn't built up like some of the neighbouring resorts. There is an abundance of bars, beach bars, late night coffee shops. restaurants, and high-end designer shops. The apartments are well-maintained, and have everything you need for a delightful stay. The grounds are unique, beautiful and very peaceful and tranquil, and are very well-maintained. There is a road outside, but it carries little traffic and was never a problem in terms of noise) I thought we might have problems with insects, but we were unaffected throughout our entire stay. Plus I didn't see one cockroach inside our apartment or within the grounds, which I have had problems with before in other hotels within the same area. The windows do not have insect screen, although we left the window fully open most nights and had no issues. The Aircon is 10 euros per day. During our stay all the apartments were in use, however, it was never crowded and often we had the entire grounds to ourselves some days. However, the only letdown would be... that there are no curtains in the living room/kitchen area and therefore guests can appear straight into your accommodation, if you leave the bathroom door open on the first floor, guests can also see straight in while showering. - Not an issue, just remember to close the door. The grounds are safe, and ideal for families with small children, the gates lock and there are also safety gates to enter the pool. The grounds attract lots of small tropical birds which was great, and I even saw a few hedgehogs some mornings. The pool is ideal for dipping, many have said that the pool was small although it's not huge, but it's not super small either. The vibe is very chilled and quite... relaxing. And it's beautifully lit up in the evenings. In terms of crowd, it was very mixed... families, groups, couples, and LGBTQ-friendly. - All ages. The lower ground floor rooms, are well-shaded with plants and offer more privacy and direct access into the garden area. Room 109 is a private separate bungalow set in the grounds, with a private terrace that is hidden with a vast array of plants. For those that are wheelchair friendly, I'm going to sadly say No... Steps to enter the pool, steps to enter the garden and including all higher floors, the bathroom is not fully fitted for wheelchair use, nor are the kitchens. The showers would not be unstable to fit a wheelchair. - Although your better option would be to contact the hotel and ask for room 109 as this is situated directly in the gardens, with a path from the main entrance. While some of the lower ground rooms are at street level. ( although there are steps leading into the gardens front the front terrace, but it's possible to enter the gardens from the rear. The apartments are well maintained, although there are a few signs or wear and tear but nothing major that would ruin your holiday. Not all rooms have a balacony from the bedroom, although all the apartments on the higher floors have balconies, while some have a wrap-around balconies. The apartments on the lower ground all have a tarrence, which is now shaded with vines and plants, making them a little more private. The beds... after reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned that I might have trouble sleeping. At first glance they don't look appealing, and although they are not the best I've seen in hotels, I had no trouble sleeping. The sheets were clean, however, the top cover (Blanket) looked like it had seen better days. - If I could change one thing, it would be the bedrooms, basic and outdated. - But I had no issues. The bedrooms would be much better if the beds, linen, and pillows, were of better quality. £4 pillows from Primark are much better! The bedrooms do have blackout curtains. Our television wasn't working, once I reported it, they offered to replace it with a new one although I declined, but just ensure everything is working on your arrival. I did notice that the remote had options for amazon prime, and Netflix.. but I don't know if these actually worked. The location is fantastic, beach 5 mins walk, and bars and restaurants are all within a 5-minute walk. The supermarket is located next to the casino (10-minute walk) - Although if on a budget, it might be wise getting a taxi to one outside of town, you'll get more for your money then shopping in the resport. 15/20 minute taxi ride. Grounds 10/10 Location: 10/10 Vibe Day: Chilled, relaxed, tranquil Vible Evening: Chilled, relaxed and quiet Decor/furniture 8/10 ( no issues at all, but a little outdated compared to other resorts) Bedrooms 8/10 - This is due to the mattress plus pillows. (if these were updated, and had more vibrant decor and fresh, they would appeal to all markets) USB ports - No Key entre: Keys with a large key fob. (You'll never lose it) The door locks once closing the door Music around the pool: No Plug sockets: one on each side of the bed Sleep quilty: 8/10 Card entre: No Pool: - 10/10 View: 10/10 Hair Dryer: Yes Bathroom: - 8/10 (basic but no issues) - The rooms also have a hair dryer, and there were no issues with hot water whatever time of the day. Clean and tidy, and fresh towels daily. complete with a water wall shower head. Furnishings: 8/10 Cleanliness inside and out: 10/10 The team: 10/10 Kitchenware: 8/10 (basic, but everything you'll need) 3 pan set, 1 non-stick frying pan, 3 plates, 3 side plates, 3 bowls, glasses, 3 set knife set, cheese grater, chopping board, kettle, 2 slice toaster, vintage coffee machine, coffee cups, teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, plenty of cutlery, wine glasses. - Plus washing liquid and clothes. Outside furniture 9/10 Sun loungers: 9/10 Would I stay again: Yes!!! Would I recommend: Yes!!! Overall, amazing resort, clean, tropical, and totally chilled ... As it's accommodation only, you can bring your own drinks around the pool and in the gardens. Swimming is allowed until 7 pm - ideally, the rooms should come with plasticware glasses to use around the pool and in the gardens. The office is open 12 pm to 6 pm, and 10 am to 6 pm Wednesday and Thursday only ... where you can leave your luggage if required, you may have issues if wishing to leave before or after these times.
