A return to this hotel for an Easter break. Clean and lovely location and a lovely holiday, but despite having a sunbed policy, and a complaint to the Management, nothing done to stop certain families reserving sunbeds. I appreciate this is a problem in many hotels , but when 10-12 beds are reserved at 7.30am by one family every day using beach towels, bathroom towels and bathmats, with no-one appearing until at least 11.00am, and even then beds still vacant with towels for the whole day, it's a bit of a joke. The fact that the Management haven't acted on this is very poor.

Overall I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The hotel in general is large, but well maintained and clean, especially in the communal areas. However, I found the room to be tired and there was a smell of sewage in the hall on the way to the room. I did report this and the area was cleaned within hours, but the smell returned the following day. The staff were gently pretty good - special call out to Jose Blas and Sara (part of the entertainment team) - these guys genuinely went above and beyond. Food was average - they do well from a variety perspective, but some of the food was a bit bland. The best options came fresh from the grill which was always good. I wouldn’t recommend it for coeliacs at all though. There were very little options on the gluten free side of things, which offered GF bread for breakfast but was nowhere to be seen at other meals. The chefs generally seemed unsure on GF options, so consequently persisted to say no, leaving GF options to be limited to chips and sometimes the meat from the grill. There was also not a huge amount for the children. The kids pool seemed best suited for under 6’s and the games room was pay to play with almost everything costing 1€ to play, or 2€ for pool. I do feel that this should have been included for All Inc customers. Overall, it was an expensive holiday, and I just don’t think it lived up to the cost.

The location of Gloria Palace San Agustin is perfect and it’s close to local restaurants and shops. Last year, the atmosphere of Gloria Palace was amazing, Entertainment was provided throughout the day(e.g. Bingo,Aqua Gym etc…) and there was always things to do. The location of Gloria Palace San Agustin is perfect and it’s close to local restaurants and shops. Last year, the atmosphere of Gloria Palace was amazing, Entertainment was provided throughout the day(e.g. Bingo,Aqua Gym etc…) and there was always things to do. But this year there’s hardly been any entertainment throughout the holiday. Last year, there was always a great selection of food which always worked together but this year the food has been bland and limited. Overall, the holiday did not meet the 4* expectations and we were left disappointed.

We stayed here last year for the first time and loved it. It's a 4* and we thought it was closer to a 5*. It had everything you needed and you didn't need to leave the hotel. This year something has changed. The food is terrible with a limited selection and nothing goes together to actually have a full meal. However, if you're happy with pizza and chips for every meal then you'll be fine! There is barely an entertainment team this year. Last year there was fun, games, dancing and music by the pool. This year nothing apart from bingo at 3pm! Really disappointed this time and wouldn't even give it a 4* rating. I wish we'd tried somewhere else and we certainly won't be coming back again.
