Having had the luxury of staying in most of the Lopesan hotels in Meloneras, I can confidently say Hotel Faro, a Lopesan Collection Hotel, has got it completely right. I should start with saying that it is Adults Only, unlike the other Lopesan hotels in the area. Unlike other properties that require you to pay extra upfront for a "Unique" service tier at booking, Hotel Faro gives you total flexibility. You can simply add extras on the days you actually want them—like reserving double sunbeds or accessing the rooftop terrace, bar and pools. Accommodation - We stayed in a Junior Suite with breathtaking ocean views, it was worth the extra! The room was amazing with subtle lighting and air conditioning (which was a must). Room came equipped with a fantastic power shower (no bath), ample hanging space, and a mini-bar. We loved the complimentary extras in the room—sun hat, beach bag, flip-flops, and slippers were a lovely, thoughtful addition! Location - This was an unbeatable location with direct beach access, step right out of the rear pool gate and you are directly on the boardwalk. Ideally situated within seconds of great shops, bars, and restaurants (if you choose to venture out). No big hills or mountains to climb, mostly on the flat along the promenade. The overall cleanliness of the entire hotel was absolutely impeccable. Dining & Food - Great flexibility brilliant dining concept! Guests can choose between a fully served breakfast and in the evening a three-course dinner, and/or a mix of served and buffet, or just buffet. We originally planned to mix things up and eat out some nights, but the food was so good we didn't eat out once—even though we know from past visits that the nearby restaurants are great. Rooftop Terrace Pro-Tip 💡The views from the rooftop terrace are simply stunning! Book the rooftop day pass in advance on the Lopesan website for €40 per person. It includes lunch and a cocktail, which is incredible value! If you book directly at the hotel, it’s a €30 minimum spend per person that doesn't include lunch (though value depends on what you plan to drink). The Staff - First and foremost, special recognition must go to the team. There was not a single member of staff who wasn't incredibly helpful. Everyone consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

This is an adult only hotel and is right on the beach at Maspalomas. I had a side view room overlooking the lighthouse and sea. It was quite a quirky room with a large wet room and washbasin incorporated into the main room. Everything about the hotel, rooms and pool was 5 star. The room had an extensive mini bar, Nespresso machine and kettle. The sunlounges by the pool had thick mattresses and these were rigorously cleaned each evening. Service by the pool was attentive and prompt. I had half board and access to the dining area was timed so it was never overcrowded. The view from the dining room and bar was superb The food was good with both a themed menu in the evening as well as a buffet. There was sky bar and pool on top of the hotel. I only visited once as it was noisy in the evening. This is accessed by a lift running outside the hotel at the side and I found the proximity to my room (1508) intrusive and would avoid next time. I was a solo traveler and was well cared for by the staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

My mum and I stayed at Hotel Faro Maspalomas for two nights, and we only wish we had booked a longer stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. Our beachfront room was absolutely stunning—spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and with breathtaking views. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better, right on the beach with fantastic restaurants just a short walk away. We also loved that it was next to the promenade, which was perfect for a lovely evening stroll, and just a short walk from the famous Maspalomas Sand Dunes. One of our favourite parts of the hotel was the beautiful rooftop pool. It was the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the incredible views in such a peaceful setting. The service was truly five-star throughout our stay. A special thank you to Marcel, the concierge, who went above and beyond with his warm welcome and excellent recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made our stay even more memorable. The hotel was peaceful, luxurious, and exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn’t fault a single thing and would highly recommend Hotel Faro Maspalomas to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in Gran Canaria. The only downside was that we only booked two nights—we’ll definitely be back for longer next time!

There is only one word to describe our 7 day break here - fabulous! From the start to finish the staff were brilliant - from the front desk, pool staff, cleaners and restaurant staff - all make you feel very welcome. We stayed in a suite on floor 2 overlooking the pool and sea - it is the best room we have ever had across all Of our European holidays it was simply superb - large comfortable bed, mini bar, walk in shower, daily towels and cleaning and our room maid always left us a nice chocolate treat. I can honestly say there is nothing to find fault with this hotel it’s definitely 5*. If I was to make any observation it would be that the entertainment in the hotel isn’t widely advertised meaning at times there may be 4-5 people watching - granted the World Cup is in motion and you could watch it in your room where there are London channels or alternatively watch it on the huge tv near the pool! Where have you ever been where they actually cook your eggs to order ? You get a great choice with breakfast and there can be no complaints whatsoever - thank you Lopesan Faro we will be back in the future
