This hotel has been wonderful from start to finish! We chose to stay on the Tabaiba side as reviews showed this side as quieter - the reviews were spot on! The Maspalomas side has the main entertainment stage and arcade games etc whereas the Tabaiba side has a lovely quiet bar with singers in the evening. I contacted the hotel prior to our stay to request rooms together and arrange some birthday treats during the holiday. Lorena on reception was brilliant in helping with our requests and everything was perfect 👌 we had an upgrade on the room which was wonderful with the most incredible shower! I am not sure why some reviews say the food is not great - this hotel has the best selection of food with more chefs cooking than I have ever seen. Both Asian and Italian restaurants are worth a visit and included in your stay, so take advantage. We particularly liked the fact that you wait to be seated in the buffet restaurant as this prevented a ‘free for all’ feel and allowed the restaurant to remain clean and calm and well organised. We travelled with a 14 month old and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff in all eating venues . There is so much going on in the hotel but also you can find very chilled out areas if it’s not for you ( including an adult only area and pool). The hotel is about a 15 minute walk into Maspalomas along a very safe sidewalk that is completely flat. You literally follow the path from the hotel down to the start of the dunes. There is a supermarket just outside the hotel so if you need anything extra we recommend you go there as it is very cheap. If there is anything to fault it is the air conditioning- it does work but it’s not very cool. We did ask to have it checked (which they did) and the lowest it would go was 20 degrees. However what we will say is that once you get past the first night you do become acclimatised. We will definitely return! Thank you to all the staff for making this a great holiday !

Beautiful hotel. All staff were very pleasant and worked really hard to make this a great experience. Great selection of food and drinks, in beautiful clean locations. The rooms were spacious and clean. Could have done with more storage. The adult only area was beautiful but busy and in high season, you would struggle to get a seat there. The only niggle was on our last 2 days we could not enter the adult only outdoor area at all due to a wedding. The pool, seating area and bar were all sectioned off. The balanaise beds were moved to another location, the squash courts, near the main pool, which was full of families and remained unused. Not good. The entertainment in the sister family hitel was not to our taste. There were singers in the adult hotel, which we were good but It was all a bit quiet in the evenings really. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel on either side of the road to get you around the island. We took a trip to Pierto del morgan, little Venice, beautiful and well worth it. Meloneras was lovely and the history of the lighthouse. Playa del ingles was also nice for a visit to the sand dunes. I would definitely go back to the island but stay somewhere else more seafront. We did love the hotel but think this resort is more for families. We enjoyed it as went prior to half term and low season.

We have just got back from a 9 night stay at this hotel. We arrived on the 4th June and left on the 13th. I'll start of by saying the first few days where good, the hotel looks beautiful inside and outside and our room looked clean and modern. The reception where prompt and friendly and we where pointed to a section that offered late night snacks. Only downside was no porters to take luggage or even trolleys for us to wheel ourselves not the worst but abit of a pain with 5 cases between two adults and a 7 month old in a pushchair. The pools where massive and well maintained and the aqua park was lovely for children! Plenty of loungers but the front ones do get taken up quickly even though it says not to reserve loungers till 10am, they do enforce this by removing towels but people get around this by just sitting on the loungers much earlier. Only issue with the pool is the amount of rules, no floaties, no balls or toys, you can't even sit on the edge with a drink or in the pool, nobody pays £1000s for a holiday for it to be so restricted. The food was all cooked to perfection and tasted beautiful especially the Mexican food night and the breakfast, there where lots of choices but it did become abit repetitive after a while but that's normal for all inclusive. The staff where friendly especially the cleaning ladies and it made a change not to have staff clearly waiting for a tip. Infact it was the first place we,ve been where tipping culture wasn't a major thing. Now to the negatives. We paid all inclusive but most stuff was definitely not all inclusive, this is the first hotel I've been to with so much stuff having an extra charge! You don't expect everything to be included but not to the level of this place. The hotel advertised air conditioning in the rooms but it was barely working when we arrived and then stopped completely on the last two days. There are no irons in the rooms and if you want to rent one it costs 20 euros for a week that doesn't include an ironing board which was an extra cost. And the biggest deal breaker was the cockroaches!! We stayed in a ground floor room number 0277 and on day five there was a big one crawling up the wall under our tv! After chasing it round the room my partner managed to kill it and we thought that was the end of it. I did however notice there was an extreme amount of them on our patio area when I moved the curtains to look for the original one. We then went to bed and tried to sleep as best as you can after seeing that in your room, however I went to the toilet early hours and the noticed another one upside down by our door! We tried to block off any gaps around the doors and even kept some lights on hoping to deter anymore from coming in. We then thought that was it and didn't see anymore for a few days until the day before leaving and there was a small one in the shower and another on the glass. Then on our last night I happened to look over and there was another massive one behind our babys cot! We are aware that they are common in the canarys and expect to see them outside but we did not expect to have FIVE in our room! There's clearly a pest problem in that room or on the patio that needs addressing before they put anyone eles in there! This completely ruined our holiday and we where very disappointed as it was the first time going away as a family, we would not recommend this hotel unfortunately.
