“Excellent hotel, amazing holiday”

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. It’s very modern, immaculately clean and staff were great. The pools and aqua park are fantastic. Food is lovely. One of the best all inclusive hotels I have ever been to.

We recently had a lovely 11 days at this hotel. I emailed beforehand about celebrating my wedding anniversary and the hotel from arrival was great. The food they had laid out at 11pm when we arrived was a really nice spread ( much better than other hotels we have arrived late at), there was drinks available in the restaurant. The hotel had put my family in two rooms next door to each other on the 2nd floor with a view of the pool which were spacious, cleaned everyday and even put a bottle of fizz in the room. We bought additional water as only 1 bottle was provided ( but for us not a problem). The food was good and the Italian was a really lovely meal, the pizzas were just fab. The wine, sangria and beer were all very drinkable, especially with a brandy in the sangria ! . The snack bars and restaurant had good variety of food, but look on both sides of the restaurant as often people queued for 1 of the grill meals ( fish / meat) and didn't realise it was also on the grill the other side of the restaurant. Prosecco at breakfast is not on every day, but the bar opens at 10 ;). The staff work really hard to keep the place clean and they were all polite and the entertainment staff work hard. The adults only area is just lovely and relaxing. The only downside and its not the fault of the hotel was the amount of kids there, with 3 adults and a 17 yr old we hadn't anticipated the vast size of the complex and the amount of children there, generally under the age of 10 and OH MY can they make ALOT of noise!!!. You need to time the restaurant visits to when the kids club starts in the evening as its so much quieter, usually about 8.30pm and early to breakfast. To the Staff at Maspalomas / Tabaiba, thank you for a very lovely holiday.

I had read alot of reviews before going and found them very negative which is a bit unfair. The hotel was a lovely setting the room was average, we were a family of 4 and with the sofa bed pulled down the room was very small but manageable. The food was okay but then I am a bit fussy. The array of food was good, especially the snack bar throughout the day. My main issue, which has nothing to do with the hotel itself, was the people in the dining area at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was like people forgot how to be polite! Was very frustrating people literally walking in front of you, not getting out of the way etc. The pools were great, we spent most of our days at the kids pool as it had slides like a mini water park. The evening entertainment was ok the animation team really do work hard. The kids club was not great for my children and this is the first year we didn’t avail of it at a hotel. Overall we had a really lovely time at the hotel however I would not come back. I found the atmosphere lacking throughout the day and night.
