The gym The gym is very compact. There were a few cardio machines including two elipticals and two treadmills. They were not enough for the amount of people waiting to use the machines. It was common on a workout to have other guests asking you to cut short your workout. There was a cable pulley machine which was broken with a sign the whole time we were there. The gym really let the hotel down. For such an upmarket hotel, it should be a little bigger, or they can have an arrangement with a local gym. Food and drink The staff are amazing. From check in, customer service (Ludovic) to the bar staff that are constantly offering to make you drinks. The staff and customer service is beyond anything they have experienced. The buffet is great. Massive choice but does not change very much day to day. The signs on the food are insufficient and difficult to read (tiny text). The buffet makes amazing desserts and the food quality is amazing. The buffet, although repetitive is great. We were with a vegetarian and he really struggled to find very protein at the buffet (or any restaurant at the hotel). It would be great to have a couple do main dishes in the buffet every night that are vegetarian. The speciality restaurants do not do enough to differentiate themselves from the buffet and we tended to be find the food to be not sufficiently differentiated. For example Kanna had paella which was very similar to the buffet. The Italian restaurant had pasta and pizza (as did the buffet). Peseta was great but there are very limited menus (land, see, air) which couldn’t be mixed across courses. The portions were really small and we found ourselves going to the bar for snacks after an evening meal there. The bar snacks at ginger were pretty basic, but were available all day. The pool restaurant was probably the most interesting one. The staff were so helpful and eager to ensure everyone was served. Overall I would say some work needs to be done on the restaurant menus and to provide some vegetarian food. The room The room was gorgeous. Clean and well maintained. The mini bar is included and has beers, soft drinks and wafers and is replaced daily. The beds were comfy and the layout thoughtful and inspiring. The facilities The gym was disappointing, but the pools etc were always super popular. The one thing is that there was no adults only area (unless you were in certain rooms). This meant that both large pools had children in them - the main pools were very, very lively. The grounds were also beautifully maintained, but were not peaceful. There were many, many families who enjoyed all the grounds. The entertainment The entertainment finished a little early (22:30). There was one night where there was a performer in the evening in the smaller room next door, but it had very limited seating. One of the highlights for us was the telescope day where the observatory opens and you can look at the moon. Amazing experience, highly recommended. On one night there was an inflatable screen to watch a movie and the animations team had events all day long. The area The local area and beach are gorgeous. Pharmacy, supermarket, souvenir shops nearby for anything you might have forgotten. The vibe The vibe was very much decadent Spanish hospitality. There were many families there which made the vibe more lively. The hotel was mostly all inclusive, but there were upsell items on the menus. We would definitely stay here again. But please some more vegetarian food, and sort out the gym!! Perhaps also consider making one of the main pools adult only?

A beautiful hotel, sparkling clean and very well kept. All areas were welcoming and comfortable from the entrance to the pool side. The pool bar was incredible and the staff work so hard they never stopped. Other restaurants could do with improving on the staffing front, service was pretty slow especially to get drinks. Children’s choices in the restaurants was quite poor. The meals were generally lovely when they came. The biggest let down has to be the buffet, food often lukewarm and running low. If you caught it when it was fresh out it was delicious. Waiting on staff in here were run ragged and few and far between. Difficult to get drinks served and often slow to clear. We had a junior suite with wraparound balcony and it was fantastic. The mattress was getting ready for replacement and was a little dipped but still very comfortable. Turndown service only appeared on the last 2 nights of our holiday and other family members didn’t receive this at all?! We had an in land view and was as expected. The day time pool entertainment was brilliant (especially the aqua dance/aquarobics with Kai and Estefan-my little boy tried his best to copy Estefans moves!! ) Although the remaining entertainment was sporadic and difficult to find or we were unaware it was happening! Evening entertainment was ok, but short lived. Some nights just 1 hour of a singer. The stargazing was fab. The hotel is brilliant for very small children but not much for 6years plus to do. Teens have a club to attend but my children weren’t old enough for this whilst also too old for kids club. A number of minor complaints but overall an excellent stay, we probably wouldn’t return due to the food experience which is a shame as we really enjoyed everything else about the hotel, the drinks were some of the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive resort.

It was a lovely stay overall; however, I unfortunately left a toiletry bag and some jewelry in the room after we checked out. While I understand that forgetting these items was my responsibility, I would expect a five-star hotel to handle such situations proactively and make a reasonable effort to return guests’ belongings. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After several follow-ups on my part, the hotel checked with housekeeping and informed me that the items could not be located. This is very disappointing and leaves a negative impression of the hotel’s service and staff. Such an experience falls short of the standards I would expect from a property of this caliber.

We have just returned from a week at the hotel. To start with, upon arrival we were welcomed with water and a room upgrade which was lovely however, the mood was dampened when we went to order some food in the ginger bar and I believe the waiter was called Jonas, he was very rude and inpolite to us when we ordered which made us uncomfortable, we arrived late in the evening but were told we could order food 24/7 from that bar so couldn’t understand why we were treated with a roll of the eyes and attitude. We also a few days later had a lady serve us at that bar and we ordered two strawberry daiquiris, she then made one espresso martini and one daiquari, when I said it was wrong (politely) she was extremely rude and muttered loads of words in Spanish. The room was lovely, good side and nice being on the 6th floor as away from the noise. However we ocassionally got a bad drain smell from the toilet. The food in the buffet was not 5 stars. The Al a cartes were amazing but the buffet was a let down. The food in the buffet was always lukewarm unless you got something cooked fresh however, when we ordered steak cooked to medium rare, they came out blue. We had to ask for it to be cooked longer. The food on the buffet even had flies on them at times, considering the 5 star rating of the hotel this seemed poor, I also had some chicken from the pool bar and got severely ill after eating it which was concerning too as I ended up bed ridden for a day of the holiday and had to go to the local hospital. On our final day we asked to get the room extended due to me being unwell and us having a late flight and even though the hotel was no where near fully booked they still charged us for an extension of the room at an additional €20 per hour which seemed unfair considering how ill I was. Overall we enjoyed the pull and having the beach nearby but there wasn’t much to do in the area and the hotel lacked evening entertainment. It’s definitely not a hotel for couples it’s more of a family hotel or for couples with young kids.
