We booked directly via the hotels website and were able to select the rooms we wanted. The villas are situated in semi circles and ours were located directly near the pool, elevator, restaurant etc, so really good location to be in. We stayed on all in basis and enjoyed all the meals and drinks in the bars. The beach shuttle service is really nice although the+/-20 minute walk is also nice to do.

Good for Celiacs, but Room for Improvement I would like to share my review of Dunas Suites & Villas. This is a large complex of suites and villas rather than a traditional multi-story hotel. My family and I stayed for one week on a half-board basis and required a gluten-free diet due to celiac disease. Food & Dining The food was typical for a European hotel standard, served buffet-style with a good variety of items. Drinks were included for breakfast, but charged separately at dinner. The restaurant staff was very helpful with gluten-free options. For breakfast, warm gluten-free baguettes and Nutella were served, and buffet items were clearly labeled with allergens. For dinner, we could order special gluten-free meals like pizza, spaghetti bolognese, or chicken strips with fries. I give the restaurant staff an A+! Rooms & Facilities Our suite had two rooms, a bathroom, AC, and a small fridge. The room was clean, but housekeeping only made the beds without replacing towels or bed sheets throughout our stay. The pool area was great, with plenty of sunbeds. The gym is small with only a few machines, and our key card didn't work to access it. Location & Extras Great location for walks about 1.5 - 2km to Playa de Maspalomas and near a bus stop to Fataga or Puerto de Mogán. At check-in, we received a voucher for a welcome drink at a partner beach restaurant, but it was limited to one basic drink per group and the staff there was unhelpful, so I wouldn't recommend visiting it. Summary Good atmosphere. While we could have found a more comfortable place for the price, we chose this hotel specifically for its great gluten-free options, which delivered well.
