Fifth time staying in the Royal Level side of the hotel! The atmosphere is my favourite aspect of the Royal Level. The whole experience is great, the high standards of the adults only section, the food, the drinks and the cleanliness of everything!! The pool is perfect, the temperature, the view, it is perfectly clean and tidy, there is towels available all day, a friendly life guard!! All the sun beds and furniture around the pool area & the outside Magical Pool Bar are clean, a brilliant standard and honestly couldn’t fault the whole of the Royal Level amenities and facilities. The only thing I feel let’s it down is the lack of entertainment, they advertise & we were informed on arrival there is entertainment in the Magical Restaurant each evening, this is not true… the first time we stayed here the entertainment was perfect, every evening & the music was one of our reasons for coming back to stay again. Since then all of the other 4 times we have stayed the entertainment is massively lacking & it is such a shame. The entertainment is the only thing that lets the whole hotel down!! If you like a relaxing holiday, great drinks, great food, and a chilled out atmosphere this is the perfect place for you! One more thing I think is important to say is that some of the staff in the Magical restaurant can come across a bit unresponsive and maybe slightly rude - mainly the managers - this excludes Roberto, he is fabulous!! Most of the waiters and waitresses are lovely & work very hard to make sure service is great!!

We arrived late at night ,very tired and tense after our delayed experience at Arrecife Airport .we were met by the smiling welcoming faces of the staff at the main desk (as the royal level desk finish earlier that night so no welcome Drinks! .but a fun ride From Alehandro ? ,Sorry for the spelling !, To our smashing big open plan room helped to alleviate our stress .the next morning we woke up to the quietness of the royal level (seemingly there were building works goin on nearby ) we never heard a thing! The restaruant for breakfast was our next port of call! A lovely breakfast had we wound down by the infinity pool for a few hours .before venturing into the local area ,although the promenade and nearby village is busy you dont feel squashed at all . In the evening we had our meal in the royal level restaraunt . The meals are Adequate but could be better some veg is way over cooked ! The room is fantastic plenty tea and coffee refreshed every day and water in small cartons All the staff are very attentative to your needs . The room has towels shower gel and tothbrush and paste and a wet shaving kit. The Entertainments team are good to ,cocktail and Sangria making lessons were fun Well done to Aurellias and team for a fun vegas afternoon too. At the end of our holiday we got an area dedicated to the Royal level customers With its own charging points and air conditioning and comfortable seating and books and solitaire game and large knots and crosses. The only dissapointing thing is that with airlines competing for slots the uk seems to get the worst ones ! And this means that a 12oclpck checkout then a 4 to 5 hr wait with no room has to be suffered . There was no way of keeping the room on seemingly so. We did manage to book a courtesey room for 30 mins throughout our departure pickup wait ,to Shower and change into fresh clothes. The Jet2 side of things semed good The drop off and airport presence were Noticed and they were helpful. To sum up We had our origional "Barcello luxury" Holiday ,Which we were looking forward to was origionally cancelled due to covid. It had been some time since we had a luxury holiday. So this booking was well worth waiting for. And will use Barcello again
