Wow! This hotel really creates a great first impression. Welcomed with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The welcome drinks and snacks were amazing and the golf buggy trip to the room made our youngest daughter's day. The girls loved spotting the terrapins and fish each meal time. The pools - all clean and lovely; not too busy either. Not the warmest but ok once in. Sunbeds- some people reserved them but no where near as bad as what we have seen at other hotels and there was plenty so we could always find one. Restaurants - we loved the food at the buffet restaurant. Our favourites were the paella, fajitas and the sweets and deserts. We only managed to book the steak house during our stay and although the food was delicious the portions were huge! Entertainment/ activities - we really enjoyed the quizzes, aquagym and bingo. We highly recommend the aloe Vera workshop too. The evening entertainment was ok - very small audiences which was a shame for the performers. We really liked the fire dancers. Bars - we enjoyed the piano bar the best and liked Sweet Lola cocktail and the lychee lemonade cocktail. Room - we stayed in the junior suite. It was an amazing room and we loved the chocolates each evening. Arcade - lots of fun in the arcade. Don't miss the mini golf or Mikes coffee shop (drinks included if All Inclusive) . Location - a quiet location but with beautiful walks to the lighthouse, up Mount Roja and into Playa Blanca. Staff were amazing - from cleaners to photographers.

“Brilliant Hotel”

Fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean, everything is very grand, the rooms are beautiful and the food is very nice. Only one suggestion, maybe a paella night in the canteen once a week. Entertainment was great, drinks were high quality and service was amazing. Great experience.

Just come back from H10 yesterday and I can say we had a lovely 2 week holiday. We were lucky to stay Privilege and I can say it was worth it. The Volcan restaurant was lovely cannot fault, the staff were outstanding. Pool area lovely however some attention needed to the tiling in the pool. Our room was lovely and spacious, the balcony was a great size and our view outstanding looking out to sea. However, despite double locking the door in an evening, staff could still enter which was a little unsettling, as there was no door sign for do not disturb to be displayed. The bistro was also great for lunch and the staff again were fabulous. I can recommend the pizza absolutely gorgeous. The Privilege lounge was also a nice place for a sun downer but there is a liitle attention needed here for a five star area. All in all lovely hotel just a little attention to detail in a few areas. This is the first time I’m writing a review while I’m still staying at the hotel. It doesn’t get more honest than that, right? In short: A very good hotel with amazing food, beautiful but slightly dated and rather noisy rooms. The resort is very well maintained, and there’s a huge selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, the usual “sunbed reservation” with towels happens here too, and the hotel doesn’t seem to do anything about it. The full review: I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for the past two years, so I was really looking forward to this trip. I booked a Junior Suite and was assigned room 9011. To be honest, I was a little disappointed because it’s very close to the lobby, the main restaurant, the pool, and the walkway to the restaurant. It’s a busy location, so you don’t really get to enjoy the privacy of your balcony. Last night, guests checked into the room above us. There was quite a bit of noise, and that’s when we discovered that the rooms are not very well soundproofed. Listening to children running around above you isn’t exactly relaxing. Now for the positive side: the food is absolutely fantastic. There’s an incredible variety, and it’s definitely worthy of five stars. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all excellent. Every day there’s a wide selection, including fresh pasta, wraps, paella, steak, prawns, and much more. There’s cava, fresh juices, good coffee, and water is available everywhere. The pool bar even serves sandwiches and salads if you somehow get hungry between meals—which honestly feels almost impossible! The coffee there is excellent as well. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and always helpful. A few suggestions for improvement: The hotel asks guests to buy a reusable water bottle that can be refilled. Personally, I think this bottle should be included free of charge. It’s better for the environment, encourages guests to stay hydrated, and benefits the hotel as well. During dinner (between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM), I would also recommend placing water, wine, and cava stations around the restaurant. The waitstaff work incredibly hard, but during busy periods they simply can’t keep up, which sometimes means you’re halfway through your meal before receiving a drink. I would also pay more attention to room allocation. Why not simply ask guests whether they prefer a quiet or a lively location? I’m here with my daughter, and we were hoping for a peaceful stay, yet we were placed in one of the busiest areas of the resort near the family pool. We would have much preferred one of the quieter rooms towards the back, near the adults-only section. After all, we’re paying around €300 per night for a Junior Suite, so we expected a little more consideration. Happy guests are returning guests. I’ll post another update after we’ve tried the à la carte restaurants. Overall, we’re very happy with our stay so far. I’ll update this review at the end of our holiday.
