There is a calm and relaxing atmosphere during the day, broken occasionally by the excellent 'Animation Team' who host various events throughout the day to keep everyone entertained! There are plenty of sunbeds and finding one in a decent location is not an issue at all! The views across the sea looking out towards Fuertaventura are stunning, and the sunsets on the evening truly make this a magical place to stay! The resort cleverly uses an electronic wristband as your room key and also to track your bill for food and drinks. The hotel is incredibly accessibility friendly with lifts and step free access while to each floor and a lift or ramp into each of the pools. The hotel is located only a short 2 minute walk away along the sea front from Flamingo Beach which is ideal for beach lovers, and a ~45 minute walk away from Marina Rubicon and its shopping centre. During the walk there you pass multiple shops along the sea front if you are looking for something a little closer. Our room on Floor 0 was excellent, it was large, with aircon, a fridge (free to use), a safe, kettle, kingsize bed, table, sofa, walk in bathroom, a large TV, patio and chairs looking up onto the resort. As we were on Floor 0 and below the standard level of the resort the view from the patio area was limited and the room could be seen into by passers by, however this is easily avoided by using the curtains. The room was very cleanly and well styled. There is free WiFi across the entire resort which was both fast and reliable! Rooms are cleaned on request and there is an excellent focus on sustainability and the environment which doesn't overbear or take away from the experience! The room also came with a very handy toothbrush kit, shaving kit, comb, tissues and more as standard! The staff couldn't have been more attentive, positive and a good laugh had they tried! Some stand out members of staff include Hose in the Poolside Bar, Kumar in the Restaurant and the entire Animation Team! Even the cleaners and maintenance staff made an effort to say hello when you passed. Nothing was ever too much to ask, service was incredibly quick and always with a smile! They were all a pleasure to speak to and laugh with! The food and drink were also excellent. All alcohol and soft drinks were branded (coca cola, Fanta, grey goose, Jack Daniel's, etc) as standard which is a welcome sight! The drinks were all made very well. The food was also excellent with a wide range to choose from for every meal! Breakfast does have the option of freshly made omelettes, a full English buffet, continental or just fruits, amongst other options. Lunch had a mixture of buffet bits, some hot, some cold, and the pool bar also offers some lighter bites like toasties and wraps. Dinners in the evening were themed and had excellent varieties but also kept some of the basics for those who wanted to stick to what they know (pizza, chips, rice, etc). The Kasbah restaurant serves high quality fine dining food and you get 1 visit per 7 nights if visiting 'All inclusive', or unlimited visits for 'Privilege' visitors. The entertainment put on by the Animation Team was great fun and entirely optional, they were fun, professional and didn't ever burden or force anyone to get involved which is the right way to do things, they made people want to be involved just by how they hosted things and conducted themselves! Entertainment ranged from cocktail making, aquafit and archery in the day, to live band performances, elvis impersonators, bingo, blackjack and quizzes in the evening. Something for everyone! There is also a live music/piano bar for those wanting a more relaxed evening. There are three pool's, a smaller round paddling style pool which is very shallow but ideal for sunbathing or a quick splash. A main pool which is deeper and better for a swim and ball games and even features a waterfall. Finally there is an indoor pool which is smaller and quiet. It's out of the way at the top of the resort and ideal for people wanting some peace and quiet. With that being said the entire resort was relaxed and quiet, and at no point was rowdy. The only time it was ever 'Loud' was 'White Night' which is once a week and a party with live music hosted outside, but even then most people were present and taking part! The hotel even offered a courtesy room for 30 Mins on the day of departure for those leaving after their check out time, to shower and change before getting on the plane. Overall my partner and I had an excellent time, which was truly made extra special by the staff, so a huge thank you to them! We will be returning to H10 Timanfaya Palace potentially as early as October this year! If I had any feedback it would be the following: - The cocktails in particular from the Pool Bar aren't as nice as the other bars, they seem to be 'off tap' in comparison to the other bars where they are handmade, this may want reviewing. - Please put some carpet down on floor 0 outside the rooms! Every other floor has carpet outside the rooms. This is because when people are rolling their cases along the floor tiles in the early morning or late evening it makes an incredibly loud noise which can disturb sleep! - Currently it is €1 per towel to change your beach towel each time you change it. Whilst I appreciate this has been done for the sake of sustainability, this could be unhygienic and therefore I'd reccomend a free change of the beach towels per X days stay (eg: Once every 4 days). - The Mini Golf area needs a bit of a revamp, it is only 6 holes and is looking slightly tired and unloved! Thank you to the entire H10 Timanfaya Palace team for making our Holiday so special! We can't wait to visit again!.

“The Best All Inclusive we've ever been to!”

H10 Timanfaya Palace is an excellent adults only resort for those looking for a fun yet relaxing holiday. The facility itself is stunning, tiered across 6 levels (0-5) there truly is something for everyone! There is a calm and relaxing atmosphere during the day, broken occasionally by the excellent 'Animation Team' who host various events throughout the day to keep everyone entertained! There are plenty of sunbeds and finding one in a decent location is not an issue at all! The views across the sea looking out towards Fuertaventura are stunning, and the sunsets on the evening truly make this a magical place to stay! “Return visit”

“Amazing adults only hotel”

Fantastic hotel. Loved every minute of my stay here with my 19 year old daughter. First I was worried it would be all old biddies and my daughter would feel out of place after reading some of the reviews but I needn't have worried as there was plenty of young families too. We were given room 102 and I can honestly say it was beautiful. Spotless, big beds (ask for a mattress topper if you want comfort. I'd previously emailed the hotel and the topper was already on. Best nights sleep i had in a long time). Huge bathroom with dressing robe, slippers, razor, comb, shower cap, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner (don't bring any toiletries and save luggage space and allowance). Balcony big. I was worried about a lower ground room as some said they were dingey and dark but our room was lovely and looked out onto gardens and pool. Air con was amazing too. The staff are all lovely and treated us like family. I can't say I met a grumpy or rude member of staff. They worked so hard and all were polite and friendly. Food, so much food choices but being vegetarian and my daughter vegan we didn't have as many options as meat and fish eaters. I had a bean salad and on eating it realised shredded chicken pieces were in it. It could of been a medical emergency if I was allergic to meat or fish like some people are. Food should be properly labeled with ingredients on so no confusion. Plenty of drinks from the machines and in the evening they come round with drinks. Water bottles. You have to refill up at the water/juice bar area or ask the staff. I can't understand why a hotel of this calibre doesn't have a few water stations dotted about the hotel indoors and outdoors as you have to queue with people ordering alcoholic drinks for water. Sunbeds are only allowed from 9.30am and usually plenty of beds available. We would go for breakfast at 8.30 then straight to get a sunbed and always got one next to the pool. Pools outdoors are freezing but the jacuzzi is nice. Pity you have to keep getting out of the pool to press the button to turn it on. Indoor pool we loved. Its warm, smaller and has bubble/jacuzzi type machines. This was our favourite pool and faced the beautiful gardens. The famous cats are in the gardens near the mini golf area. Tim (grey cat) Tux (black & white) Sox, Tabs, Leo, Fluff. Go and say hello and put some food out for them all as they are stray cats who rely on guests feeding and watering them. There lovely and Tim will lie next to you on the sofa. Bring high sun factor sun cream as the wind is deceiving. Its not a horrible cold wind, it's lovely and welcome. Evening entertainment great with different acts. White night a fantastic evening. We ate in the snack bar during the day and the food was lovely. You could also go in the main restaurant. I don't like the separate classes like privilege. I couldn't see much difference to be honest other than a nice restaurant, Seaview room etc. We went all inclusive and because we were out most of the time didn't feel like we got our moneys worth. If I was to go again I'd probably book half board as I like the breakfast and evening meal and we're not big drinkers. We mainly filled our water bottles up. Hotel is about a 45 minute walk to marina and about 30 minutes to the port and restaurant area. Bus number 30 does a round trip and is one price of 1.40 euro. We went to las colaradas beach by taxi costing 7 euros and it's a lovely hidden in mountain beach. Take drinks as no shops there. The sea is a beautiful green/turquoise. Be prepared to walk through the mountain trail for 20 minutes to get to it though. Check out was smooth and our flight was 11pm. They kept our all inclusive wristbands going till we left which is fantastic as some hotels deactivate at 12pm. Go down to reception about 8am the day your checking out and book a courtesy room for half an hour to shower, charge your phone, freshen up. Its in an actual room so you have privacy. They let you keep your luggage in a locked room for safety. Overall I'd 💯 return to this hotel.
