We have been regular visitors at this hotel for the past 8 years and still find it excellent. Reception area is spotless on arrival we where offered a glass of sparkling wine reception staff where helpful and friendly in fact all the hotel was spotless. We stayed in the apartments across the little road from the main hotel these where cleaned to high standard safe was very easy to use and the kitchen area was quite spacious. There was also a courtesy bottle of water which you could refill in the main hotel. In the apartment area there is a connecting walkway and corridor which leads to the dining room and main hotel . There was an excellent choice of food both breakfast and evening meal. In the evenings there was entertainment which varied each evening and started at 9.45 pm and lasted about an hour, There was also earlier entertainment for young children.

We have just come back from the mirador papagayo. We came with my parents and 2 teenage children. The hotel was beautiful the location was perfect, a lovely 15 minute walk to the marina and easy to get a taxi which took 5 minutes from hotel into playa Blanca. The evening entertainment was late and downstairs. We came with a 11 year old and 13 year old so not a lot for them to do in the evening but they played pool. Family apartment was one of the best we have stayed in clean and spacious. Unfortunately The only big let down in the hotel was the all inclusive package was probably the worse we have experienced. The food was not great the snack bar food was terrible no choice and most days no burgers just spam sausages and a pizza. No self service drinks around the pool for the children or beer. No ice lollies included only small pots of ice cream which were not very nice. Food choice for an all inclusive hotel was very minimal. Breakfast was cold I know it’s a buffet but Luke warm would have been enough. No choice of drinks at breakfast just orange juice. Staff were lovely. Reception were great arrival drink was appreciated. Everything was perfect stunning location and hotel but the food and drinks need to be improved with more choice and a kids section with drink dispensers. If the dining experience improves we will return but will definitely be back to the same location.

The hotel has lovely seaviews. It is right on the coast and thevlovrly coastal path in front of the hotel takes you directly to Marina Rubicon. It only takes sbout 20 minutes. The hotel has lovely seaviews. It is right on the coast and thevlovrly coastal path in front of the hotel takes you directly to Marina Rubicon. It only takes sbout 20 minutes. The marina has plenty of bars restsurants and shops. Walk about another 10 minutes snd you will come to the beautiful Playa Dorada beach. The hotel is divided into two areas. The main hotel, with the main swimming pool and the apartment side of the hotel where there is a lovely heated pool. The apartments on this side are large and spacious. Very good for families. Both areas have been landscaped to create a pretty and calming atmosphere. The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. A big shout out to Andres who is a very cheerful friendly member of the reception team. He was kind , helpful, and made guests feel happy and special. The glass of bubbly on arrival is a real plus. I loved the relaxing pool areas in this hotel. Everything is clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves some nice dishes. I always found something to eat at dinner. There is quite a good choice. The restaurant itself could do with a refurb . It was the only area that was slightly disappointing. The hotel overall is very good value for money. I would definitely recommend. You eill love the views and the very friendly welcome. Big thanks to Andres and the reception team for their welcome.
