Loverly clean and Spacious Rooms. The food was always fresh and tasty. The staff always helpful and pleasant. The only down side for us was the steps up to the hotel from the road. We were a family of four ranging from seventy down to eight and found the steps hard going and a little dangerous. Also because you have to wait on the road side for your pickup there should be some benches and bins. But overall a very pleasant stay.

I’d been keeping an eye on reviews for this hotel, and honestly, they kept getting worse, so I was worried. First impressions weren’t the best. There are steps at the entrance, lugging suitcases was a pain, even with a partial ramp. I was with my mum and daughter, so not ideal. We arrived early, and the staff were friendly, but we got zero info - no meal times, no entertainment details, nothing. Lunch confirmed what I had read - food is repetitive and not great - salads left wilting, same old pasta and pizza rotation. By day three, we were eating out. The room, though, was fab! Partial sea view, spacious, and clearly just refurbished (even if paint splatters gave it away). Cleaners did the basics - fresh towels, but floors not so much. The killer downside? Beds like rocks! They offer toppers, but why not just fix the issue upfront? It's been mentioned in countless reviews. I have to say we were lucky enough to have one of the new sofa beds though (we saw the old ones stacked up outside) and that wasn't too bad comfort wise. Entertainment? Let’s just say, don’t count on it. Timetables weren’t followed, and the singers weren’t great. Drinks were decent - Cava, wine, beer, spirits, and a cocktail of the day. You just pay a small deposit for the reusable cups. I know they changed management recently (it’s now Labranda Bluesea Alyssa Suites). Outside, it looks rundown - you can’t even really spot the hotel name. Pools: Three of them. The kids’ pool is heated and busy. The middle pool was supposed to be heated but was freezing, and the big pool was an ice bath - no one went in. There’s a games room, but it’s tired. Outdoor pool table with no markings left, air hockey, but it all needs replacing. The park was okay but could use some love. On the plus side, location is good—10-15 mins to Playa Flamingo, 30 to the main beach, and a lovely 60-min stroll to the marina. Loads of taxis to bring you back. So overall, it’s mixed. Great room and friendly staff, but the food, beds, and entertainment really need improving. If they sort those out, it could be a winner! We won't be returning because in our opinion, the negatives outweigh the positives.
