Stayed here for a week AI. Although building works continue, there’s no noise or disruption and you’re allocated rooms furthest away from any work, so all well thought out. Food in restaurant and snack bar excellent. You can build yourself a sandwich at snack bar eg cheese, tuna, ham, tomato, onion etc and they’ll toast it for you. Also chips, hotdogs, burgers, salad, fruit and cakes available. Following refurbishment, there won’t be any kitchen facilities in the rooms whereas at the mo there’s a full kitchenette, cutlery,china, I’m unsure if kettles will still be in the rooms after refurb, due to end May 26. Evening entertainment good, acrobatics, magician, rock group, various singers plus in the bar area there’s live background music from guitarists, singer, electric violin, so a good mix and a chilled area. The staff in all areas are so polite and always, always cleaning everything. They all deserve a big pat on the back. This is our 3rd visit in 4 years and the food, staff, pool areas all as good as always. Although we were in an old room, it was clean just old fashioned, the cleaner kept it spotless. Thank you for another great trip!

Just returned from a 10 day break here. We’d booked a room with a walk in shower as my wife uses a wheelchair and were allocated room G219 on the second floor (recently upgraded). We had a few niggles (air con controller & tv didn’t work but both were quickly replaced after notifying reception). Then the air con had a leak (again it was quickly rectified). Rooms Lovely, clean and spacious with large living room area. The door to the bathroom in our room hasn’t been replaced yet after the refurb, so we had an awkward experience when the cleaner came in one morning as the bathroom is immediately adjacent to the front door! There’s a kitchen area with a fridge, kettle and two rings but no coffee, tea or utensils?? There’s a 24€ charge for use of the safe, which is pretty critical. Service All the staff are excellent, friendly and speak good English. They work tirelessly and special call out to Gosia, Fatima, Ana, Alexis, R Garcia, Daniel & Adam who all went above and beyond - thank you. And also thanks to David on reception who sorted our minor issues Evening Entertainment A main act each night. All pretty good in my opinion, with a good range of acts. Best in my opinion was the rock band (Gotramusic). The lobby also had a good range of acts (the lady with the electric violin was awesome)! Pool Area Two small adult pools and a children’s pool. Water was a little chilly when we stayed but that’s not the hotels fault and I’m sure it’ll warm up soon. Plenty of sunbeds available and hotel has a strict policy of not reserving sunbeds until after 10am (a great idea). Pool bar is open 10-6 and serves hot food from 12pm. Note - there’s a 5€ deposit for beach towels and each change of towel costs 1€ at reception. Spa /Sauna We booked a massage, which was amazing and reasonably priced. Food Probably the biggest disappointment for us. Range of food was good, but the temperature was lacking especially in the main restaurant. My wife said the pasta section was completely cold and when she question this with the chef he simply said the hot plate area wasn’t working and suggested she nuke it in the microwave - not really great service to someone in a wheelchair. In fact, we ate out most of the week, and there are some fab restaurants within 15 mins walk. Our favourite was the Little Italy Pompei, but was also liked Mama Rosa and the Hong Kong restaurant. Location In a great place, nice and quiet any only 15 mins from the centre of Las Americas Minor Improvements Overall a great place but would be even better if the hotel considered the following: 1. Putting coffee or tea sachets in the room with milk. Why bother having a kettle? 2. Having some kind of porter available. Not an issue for most, but many holidaymakers are elderly and some have limited mobility. I saw (and helped) a few people who were checking in as I know it was a struggle for us with two cases and a wheelchair 3. Food temperature needs to improve - perhaps it’ll be better when the hotel is full and turnover is better (asking customers to nuke their own food isn’t acceptable) 4. Whilst the workers doing the refurbishment were generally respectful and it wasn’t a disruption, one ladder was left out for 2 days (including overnight) in the only access area to our room - a H&S issue 5. Consider a waiter service on an evening. Most AI hotels do this - again useful for elderly or disabled guests Hope this is taken constructively. It’s a great place but could be even better!

Food was good selection, we were not able to book Kenzio restaurant as bookibg lady didnt seem to know what days it was open and offered us a booking a day after we left so a bit disappointed. Had a lovely week at this Hotel and ALL the staff were smiley, friendly and helpful. Food was good selection, we were not able to book Kenzio restaurant as bookibg lady didnt seem to know what days it was open and offered us a booking a day after we left so a bit disappointed. Our room was nice and clean, looked a bit dated but fine all the same, wen enjoyed recomendation from Tui rep and booked the zoo/park for a day and we enjoyed it very much, especially the Orca display and watching the 6 lads in the front row getting soaked. All in all we had a nice week which went by too quickly. Thank you all very much, well done. .S. Ladies you might like to bring your own shampoo as one supplied very drying.

Check-in was really quick and efficient. We didn't arrive until after 11pm and the reception staff had everything ready and prepared for us, including a 'goody bag' with snacks and drinks. The rooms were spacious and clean, with housekeeping doing a great job each day. The rooms were a little tired and dated, but nothing we didn't expect based on research before booking. The pools were clean and well maintained, although a little chilly but to be expected this time of year. There are plenty of sunbeds available and the policy dictates that they cannot be reserved prior to 10am. Entertainment around the pool was limited to a daily aqua aerobics and a weekly foam party. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, including bacon, sausage, beans, toast, fruits, variety of eggs, pastries etc. The buffet at lunch and the evening again had plenty of choice. Various different meats, fish, salads, pastas which should cater for all. The pool snack bar offered pizza, chips, burgers, hot dogs which opens daily between 12-6. We ate at the Japanese a la carte, which you can book at the buffet restaurant. The food was very good and the chef created a good atmosphere. The entertainment in the 'main room' was a little hit and miss. Some of the outsourced acts on an evening were very good, some not so much. The lobby bar each evening had either a singer or musician playing subtly in the background both before and after the 'main act' in the 'main room'. The in-house entertainment worked tirelessly. The location is good. 15 minute walk to the beach, 20 mins from airport, less than 5 mins to the nearest shop. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, especially as this was booked very last minute due to our holiday in the middle east been cancelled. Final note: there are some rooms currently getting an upgrade with a swim up pool. We did hear some building work, but not enough to cause any annoyance.
