Location- super close to the beach and the main road of Las Americas, nothing to complain about Atmosphere- trying to be exclusive and over the top, but it lacks some final touches to make it so Rooms- very clean and new, comfortable bed and great house keeping Pool- all good, tidy and nice bar next to it Breakfast- way way too small dining area for such a huge hotel, there is a queue at the entrance between 9 and 10 and that's a huge downside, but the overall quality of food is satisfactory

Upon arrival we received a glass of champagne and a porter to assist with luggage. Reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly; can’t do enough for you! This is a beautifully decorated hotel situated in a perfect location, it’s literally just opposite to the beach and surrounded by so many shops, bars and restaurants. We aways managed to get a sun lounger around the pool and hired the hotel’s pool towels. Highly rate the hotel’s cocktails and sangria! Found the breakfast was average at best. The hotel rooms are incredibly clean and modern. As the hotel is an open design, sounds can echo and it can be noisy until late in the night, however this didn’t bother us as there’s so much to see and do outside of the hotel room! 😁 Overall great stay and would definitely return!

Our recent stay at the Mediterranean Palace was less 'palatial' but more 'problematic'. Firstly, we were completely taken aback by the additional €6 charge per day for gym access, which is a first for any 5-star establishment we have stayed in before. Moreover, the noise from the in-house entertainment was nothing short of irritating and intrusive, going on each evening until 11pm, no doubt making it difficult for families with young children to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep, let alone anybody else looking for an early night - when you have the same concern being raised by reception staff within the hotel, you can only begin to realise how totally unacceptable the sound level is. Personally, we had paid for a restful hotel stay, not a nightly pass to a rock concert! To top it off, our hotel experience was further marred by close neighbours on the sixth floor who obviously felt the need to get even 'higher' by smoking weed on two consecutive evenings, and early one morning, which rendered our balcony unusable due to the overwhelming stench! After being encouraged to contact customer relations on our last night, having previously lodged two separate complaints, we learned they had finally tracked down the responsible party. Instead of the complimentary cava we declined, we received a paltry gesture of goodwill for the significant inconvenience we had suffered: two solitary Lindt Lindors and two bottles of water! In most reputable 5-star hotels, such items are standard fare as part of a nightly turn-down service, not a rare treat, or compensatory measure. However, astonishing as it may seem, it further underlined just how far this establishment falls short of its supposed 5-star status. This was substantiated during a subsequent encounter when a male receptionist merely pointed to another desk instead of offering any verbal engagement or acknowledging the delay caused by his ongoing phone conversation. Our wait had already been significant, and this lack of courtesy only added to the disappointment. Similarly, at check-out, there were no pleasantries exchanged, and the staff made no effort to enquire about our experience, reinforcing the sense that the hotel was falling short of its promised five-star service. Despite a complete refurbishment, the hotel currently remains rather 'anonymous' as it stands, without any proper neon-lit signage on the roof, unlike most others in Tenerife. The only sign you’ll find is at ground level, which is completely lost against the sheer scale of the property, and would do very little to promote the hotel. Based on our own experience, my wife and I would be of a very similar disposition.
