This hotel exceeded all expectations we had. We'd read a few negative reviews so honestly can't say we experienced the same holiday as some had reported prior .. A late booking only a couple of weeks prior and what a wonderful holiday it turned out to be. The food we found to be a good selection lots of fresh fruit and very nice cake and desert selection. Always a carved meat and meat and fish show cooking . Other dishes on hot plates which I have to say didn't keep the food very hot some of the time. But not a major issue for us. Drinks were very reasonably priced for a 4 ☆ hotel and good brands too. We were half board Our room was a suite and a very nicely furnished spacious 2 areas . The bathroom had good facilities with excellent selection of toiletries. Towels changed daily . We had bathrobes and slippers very useful addition. Didn't use the coffee pod machine but was given a kettle to make tea. .the cups provided are very small for expresso so best bring or buy one if prefer larger hot drinks. Very good fridge. Housekeeping was very efficient throughout our 7 night stay and our room was cleaned well early in the day which pleased us . The facilities at the hotel are very good and realise some areas are newly refurbished and very striking other areas I'm sure will soon be the same on their ongoing programme . It's a spacious hotel with large outdoor area and multiple pools all sea facing. Very comfortable sunbeds but the umbrella's a bit hard to put up . The pool guy was helpful to anyone struggling and helped us willingly . Entertainment is low key but that suited us . The folk dancing evening was fabulous though and not to be missed . They brought the essence of this beautiful Island to all visitors and were infectious in their passion.. 👏 Bus stop and taxi rank very close to the entrance. Some bars and restaurants a short walk either way and the local beach is lovely and very close. A nice flat promenade front of hotel by the Atlantic ocean. . Santa Cruz de la Palma very close and easy to get to by local bus. taxi or car . A beautiful area to visit and I'm sure we will be coming back one day. Hotel room 5518 a side sea view room looking towards sea to the left .mountains to the right and the great little airport runway in the distance to watch the few flights a day . Fabulous ! The staff in this hotel we found very hard working .polite .helpful and very friendly and professional. In fact a pleasure to meet on every level . Kudos to the excellent management I'm sure A big shout out to the great Jet2 reps we met both in hotel and the airport. They went over and beyond to help when we needed assistance with an injury I sustained while travelling .. thank you so much to you both for your help and attention Hope one day to return for more of the same.

“Great experience”

Lovely hotel, food and staff! Great location for activities and very close to the airport - we loved watching the planes. Views of the Capital and the surrounding geological structures from the hotel are incredible. There is also limited light pollution here so the stargazing was amazing when walk… more

Lovely hotel, food and staff! Great location for activities and very close to the airport - we loved watching the planes. Views of the Capital and the surrounding geological structures from the hotel are incredible. There is also limited light pollution here so the stargazing was amazing when walking down to the beach on a clear night. Clean and tidy rooms, cleaning service was great. Overall can't recommend enough!

“Lovely low key chilled holiday”

This was a great hotel, but…the reviews are correct. Food isn’t brilliant, pool bar food is lovely; but only open until 3. Evening meals - salads were great and the cakes were amazing, just the rest. Raw chicken, and yes the food was lukewarm and they did replenish all the time, queues for drinks at bars but… yes I would return. We were privilege all inclusive, but I would return on a bed and breakfast basis with privilege included as they had nicer rooms and a small room with loungers and drinks snacks included. Had lots of email correspondence before I went and can honestly say they replied quickly each time and even phoned a mobility shop for me to hire scooter for my mother, so 11/10 there! Restaurants around lovely, especially La pulpa? near the end of the beach, 10 Minute Stroll. Not as quiet as we had expected, more bars and restaurants but very low key, chilled, which we appreciated. Easy bus to Santa Cruz, or taxi €12 , which is a beautiful place for a wander and a shop, will definitely return, so even though food wasn’t great, it was excellent value for money. Jet 2 rep was fantastic, even the security staff in airport were smiling, never seen than before! Lovely Island, lovely people.

the hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport so it can be a little noisy when planes are landing, but it was fun to watch them from our balcony. on arrival we checked in and we were greeted by Amelia (she was so lovely and helpful), we got straight into our room which was very nice. we gave this hotel a 4/5 ⭐️, the rooms and the hotel itself was very nice and clean but in terms of an all inclusive the food was a bit average. as a vegetarian - the lay out doesn’t make much sense, meat dishes are placed behind the vegetarian items meaning on 3 occasions i found meat in my food because it had dropped into the non meat dishes when people were serving themselves. it would make more sense to have meat dishes and non meat dishes separate to prevent this. the food does have a single label per item for example ‘chicken with rice’ but it doesn’t state the other ingredients or wether something is V so you just have to guess. however on the last day of our stay we did see some ‘vegetarian’ labels so maybe the hotel is doing more to show this. on a separate occasion my boyfriend was also served a raw pork kebab so that was a tad off putting too. the AI drinks were fab and the bar tenders were all lovely, some reviews say staff were rude but we found everyone to be pleasant. in terms of location, there is a lovely beach about 5 min walk away and there is some beautiful paths you can walk down around the hotel. there was a great pizza place called el geco too (very cheap but yum). there is a SPAR mini supermarket right next door to the hotel which was great too. there were 4 pools, 2 cold but 1 was heated which was nice. there is a tennis court behind the hotel which is free to use and helped us keep our fitness up as well as a small but well equipped gym downstairs. over all, we did have a really nice stay here and we would recommend this hotel.
