I don’t usually do many reviews but given how some of the reviews have been thought I would . We’ve just come home from 10 days here I was really worried about the sickness bug before we came but I’m happy to report non of us got poorly 2 adults 2 children , we was extra careful made sure we used the sanitizer etc but my husband ate everything possible at the hotel as did my daughter and nether were poorly . The hotel It’s set high on top of the cliff with the most stunning views . The hotel is dated but for the price and what u need it for it’s perfect very clean and cleaners always around and everything clean is all u need even if it does need a lick or paint in places . Staff The staff here especially the entertainment crew are all amazing our shout out must go to Max he was just brilliant with the kids they loved him and his jolly funny personality went down so well with my children thanks max . Kids club My daughter who’s 6 used the kids club here and there and loved it lots of arty things painting t shirts etc she really enjoyed her time there too to open 1030-1 and 330-430 Bedrooms Are spacious and clean basic and everything you need we tend to just sleep and shower in the rooms but they are perfect for all your needs cleaners do a great job . Food I’m fussy very simple food person and I found loads I enjoyed differnt types of pasta pizza garlic bread meat salads fruits and desserts the waffles either Nutella in the morning were my favorite yes it can get alittle samey but there is so much choice it’s up to yourself to choose differnt things . Nothing we ate was undercooked and everything seemed clean and the waiters/ es were always eager to keep things clean and tidy . Entertainment The kids enjoyed the mini disco altho a 7pm start was bit too early 8pm would have been perfect to be able to eat first so u can settle and enjoy the disco and following entertainment . The kids enjoyed the kahoot games and the later entertainment was as okay . We adore Amadores beach it’s so beautiful so definitely worth a visit as is the blue beach restaurant we’ve been coming here for years and Always pop in to say hello they ll put any sport on for you too if you ask . We visited aqualand and had the best day so many slides and fun things to do there worth a visit . In regards to some of the comments regarding steps yes there are a lot of them and I wouldn’t recommend it for people with mobility issues if I’m honest but otherwise once your on ur sunbed u don’t need to go up and down any steps for food and drinks if you don’t want to except maybe at the kids pool at the top. All in all we’ve had the most wonderful time here and I wouldn’t let the reviews out you off too much we didn’t hear of any sickness whilst we was there and it was obvious to see they went above and beyond to try make sure cleanliness was key . I’d just like to add that we really appreciated the two little gifts they left when they saw that it was my sons bday we came back to a doll for my daughter and a transformer for my son and it was such a lovely thought Thankyou xx
