I was really impressed with this hotel. It far exceeded my expectations. We went as a family with young children and the hotel was perfect. The small pool was safe for toddlers but enjoyed by lots of ages and the big pool was close as was the splash area so you could sit on your sunbed and watch your children safely and easily. There was also a lifeguard on duty all day who was very good and watched carefully. There was a court for older children to play football/ basketball when they wanted and it was nice as you could see them from the bar/ restaurant in the evening so didn't need to worry. There was no need to reserve sunbeds and there were plenty to go around even when you had been out and returned at peak time. If you wanted a quieter space away from the pool there were amazing bed/ loungers big enough for the whole family to lie on and look out over the sea/ mountain view and we enjoyed these early evening to play games on. The location was about an hour by bus from the airport including stops to dop off or pick up. The hotel was on a road to nowhere so no public transport passes. Most people used taxis but as we had young children and no car seats we chose to walk down to the town and catch the local buses which were very cheap (8 Euro's for 6 of us to go to the near town of Puerto Rico). We then got a boat to Puerto de Mogan which was a beautiful fishing village and well worth a visit before catching the bus back to Altamadores. You can also walk along a promenade to Puerto Rico which is a mile but we didn't but it takes you straight to the port and ferry/ boats. The food at the hotel was great and fresh, breakfast chocolate churros were a big hit. Rooms cleaned nearly daily. The staff were friendly and efficient and I would recommend this hotel.

Honest Review of our week’s stay here 10-17th July with EasyJet Holidays. Overall we had a fantastic time. A few little niggles here and there but that happens everywhere. Hotel Check in - quick. Lift out of action 🤦‍♀️. 3 flights of stairs with 4 cases, pram, 3 year old and hand luggage and 86 year old who needed a seat at the top to catch breath. Update: Lift working on day 3! Mogan area tax is payable on arrival - 0.15€ per person per night didn’t break the bank compared to other places we’ve travelled to. Room 410 - Premium One Bedroom Apartment with Large Terrace. Questioned reception if it was in fact premium. The Terrace was smaller than the others in our row. No pool view and a very small side sea view but a great location for everything else. No toddler bed or cot on arrival. I thought I read that premium rooms had robes, slippers and a nespresso type coffee machine. I was given a blank look when questioned. Servateur have apparently changed a few things even though this is still listed under room amenities on the EJ website. There are many here that have stayed in this hotel multiple times. The Cot arrived next morning. Cockroaches on the bathroom floor on first night. Take slippers!! Not a problem for the rest of the holiday. A few seen around pool area. Room - we had a game of musical beds working out what was best with 4 generations. The beds in the bedroom do not fit together well as a double - there is a gap. The sofa beds have a thin mattress and not as comfortable but that worked better for daughter and 3 year old. Her 2 cases then fitted under the bed. Plenty of room. The cases do not fit under the beds in bedroom. The room is not as big as expected and the cot did not fit unless beds were pushed up to window and then there was no room to do anything else. Shame - the photos made it look spacious. Plenty of storage space for 4. Bottle of water 1.5ltre in the fridge on arrival. Maid service days off Tuesday and Sunday. Washing up liquid provided at the kitchen sink and also a tea towel. Shower gel in the shower and at bathroom sink. Hairdryer unit had a universal plug which was handy. Bathroom tired. No tv signal. I queried tv with reception and was told they’d tell maintenance. It seems talking to others that you can only get YouTube. No one came to check it 🤷‍♀️ Restaurant. We dropped cases and headed straight to dinner around 8:45. After watching so many videos and reading such good reviews, expectations were high! What was left was disappointing due to how late we were. Slim pickings and dried up everything. Nevermind. What followed afterwards was pretty good and a huge improvement. Monday and Thursday were Barbecue night and the food selection good. The side of salmon was delicious. There were also mussels and prawn dishes. Homemade soup was lovely. The desserts were the best I’ve ever had in a Spanish hotel. Cava available on all inc for dinner only. The restaurant is not air conditioned - it gets very hot in there. The kitchen and wait staff work really hard. Everything is made on the premises. Entertainment. One lady running the animation & games - Anne from Denmark. Mini disco at 8:30pm some evenings. Granddaughter loved it but not a lot of participation. First place I’ve been to where’s there no stage for entertainment. It all happens in a very small area outside restaurant. The other entertainment is questionable but we stuck it out and had a laugh! Bingo at 3:15 seemed to be a big hit. Beach towels are provided and are in your room on arrival. If you want to change them it’s 3€. There’s a lovely adult area with comfy day beds on Astro turf with amazing views down to Amadores Beach. Always lots of beds available around the pool. Tip: take your own insulated cup, a pint glass for beers and a water bottle for drinks around the pool. Walk down to Amadores Beach takes about 20 mins. Taxi back was €3.85. The most beautiful beach in the area where the sea is aqua blue. We also got a taxi to Mogan Puerto - about €19 each way and takes about 15 minutes. Well worth a trip. The shop next door to reception stocks almost everything and is reasonably priced. Check out is 12noon. Luggage room and showers available if needed. All inc wristbands stay on until you leave. Sorry that’s so long - hope it’s helpful 🇮🇨☺️

I guess it was okay? I think I expected a bit more. As a hotel worker myself, I am quite hard to please as I deal with operations every day (so take this with a pinch of salt as I am a perfectionist). The room wasn't really clean, the clean was definitely rushed but I get that. That was my biggest thing. The person that was in that room before me must've had alopecia cuz the long brown hair was EVERYWHERE (My first impression was ripping off a VERY long brown hair from the shower head). The bathroom needs a refresh because I was a bit disgusted by the shower tray(It was black around the corners?), nothing a pair of sliders in the shower didn't fix. It was quiet, nice sleep. I found there were a lot of restrictions. I found myself looking for signs making sure I’m not taking the piss. You're not allowed to take drinks to the room or even the smoking area, which is just behind the restaurant, or the pool table or anywhere. I can't remember what else but there were signs in quite a lot of places. As a smoker, not allowing to smoke on the terrace is a bit silly to me but hey, I get it not everyone likes it. The food was SOOOO GOOOD. Although, not a fan of how the restaurant is basically at the pool (my fault I didn't look at the pictures, saw Servatur reviews and booked), so you were either inside and it was a bit warm or outside basically in the pool. Taxi to Amadores Beach 3.85, bus stop down the road (15 mins down, 30 up). Would I stay again? probably not, unless it would be like a really good deal.

The rooms are spacious and the hotel is clean which is all you want however, there was guests who where very challenging and when staff where notified they did not seem to care, when I called reception to complain due to 3am in the morning people shouting and jumping into the pool I was met with complete rudeness by the staff, food is nice but repetitive especially lunch. I would come back but there’s a few things that could do with been changing.
