Another fabulous holiday at the Servatur Waikiki Hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive, Johanna at reception doing the nightshift, she is incredible and very helpful with a great personality. Entertainment was good, food in all the restaurants was plentiful with lots of choices. Room was ready in advance so managed an early check in which was fabulous and well needed. Cleaners attended every day, very polite and caring of your belongings too. I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and have been fortunate enough to never have had any issues. This hotel is friendly, well placed and excellent for families with kids. Thank you Waikiki, until the next visit keep doing what you do best.

“Hard recommend”

Good location, 10 minute walk to the promenade, another 10 minutes down the steps to the beach. Great atmosphere around the pool, with activities such as water polo, bingo, shuffleboard all bringing families from around the world together. We had a top floor apartment which was clean and had a double balcony - perfect. Evening entertainment was good - singers and acrobats, with karaoke in the underground bar until midnight. We only paid for breakfast but we had a good selection of hot food, cereals and pancakes. Can't fault the Waikiki.

“Enjoyed our stay”

I paid directly to the hotel in advance of my stay and had confirmation by email. Upon arrival my credit card was demanded to check payment. Doesn't the hotel have an account department? I showed them my credit card statement on my banking app clearly showing Waikiki payment in pounds Sterling. More confusion as their invoice was in euros. Not a good start! Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. I paid for a top floor superior room which had a partial sea and pool view. The kettle in the room had an English plug. This was changed within a few minutes after we reported it to the cleaning lady working that day. We were supposed to get free water daily, this didn't happen and we had to ask reception for some when we run out. After checking we had not had water reception gave us some. The food is plentiful and very nicely cooked. The only downside to the food was that it was not very hot, which was disappointing, but if you want an air-conditioned restaurant the food will go cold soon. A lot of men said they were fed up of eating the same food everyday. Well my answer to that is they should not put sirloin steak, pork chops, large prawns, chicken breast, cooked sliced turkey, lasagne and a mountain of chips on two plates at every meal. We choose just one protein option at every meal and weren't bored or disappointed, apart from as already mentioned it was not hot enough. We spent our evenings in the smoking area of the bar and although we couldn't see the entertainment from there we could hear it. The singers were good considering this is hotel entertainment. Now the big negativity to this hotel is the lack of toilets near the bar. There is only one at the bar level unless you go to the jacuzzi pool. These toilets were extremely busy on a night time. Being slightly disabled I could not go downstairs to the other toilets, neither could many abled bodied people despite the toilet door clearly displaying a disabled stick. Some people also thought the disabled toilet was a changing room during the day despite the pool having a changing room. The hotel is a 3 star superior, which is clearly visible at the entrance and it is worth this rating. If the hotel management installed more toilet facilities near the bar area (there are plenty of possible sites) and improved the temperature of the food by using steel trays instead of plastic ones I would not hesitate to say the hotel was worth a four star rating.
