“Lovely Hotel!”

Just returned from a week stay at this lovely hotel, mother and daughter trip, all inclusive booked with jet2! Food and drink- food was amazing, the “snack bar” which was the Canarian restaurant in the day served the most amazing lunches, food was great at the all inclusive restaurant, a lot of fish options but that is expected at a Spanish all inclusive. The cocktails were made with branded alcohol and plenty of choice, they were great! We did one night at the al a carte the steak restaurant, again food was great! Rooms- we stayed in room 10403 junior deluxe sea view, it was worth paying the extra. Room design was stunning, bed was unbelievably comfy and the view was great. We also had a wall separating the next door balcony’s as we had seen some reviews stating they had like a mesh fence. Atmosphere- the staff here were one of the friendliest hotel staff we have experienced, the hotel was at 30% capacity when we visited and it was a lovely quiet relaxed atmosphere, plenty of different sunbed choices and never had to wait long for drinks etc. Entertainment- the entertainment lady Ash was lovely, very friendly and chatty, the entertainment options were just right for this kind of hotel! The evening singers/bands etc were great and a good mix Other- the wrist bands were a great idea didn’t need a room key and could just scan your band for dinner, to get into your room etc - if you asked at reception they would call you a taxi which came in under 5 minutes of waiting which was very handy to get to the markets etc - only improvements/slight negatives that we could comment on is: having more toilets near the pool, if you are a light sleeper I would take an eye mask as there are a few flashing lights near the bed for fire alarm etc, maybe more available quick grab snack options near the pool Overall this was a fab hotel and we would definitely return!

We decided to give this 5 stars - rare for us. 4 would be mean. We were on a jet2 all inclusive package for a week. This hotel has been refurbished recently to a designer standard. Service was very good in all areas, rooms beautifully presented. Food and drink offerings were super:- the buffet food options were excellent and the Canarian restaurant (1 per week) was lovely. A positive but also a negative was that the hotel had at most 25% occupancy at the time of visit. The hotel is a little isolated but suited our wish for a peaceful and relaxing break with no interest in going far. As regular visitors (and reviewers) to the Canaries, this is our best hotel experience.

We had an amazing time at Bahia Principe Escape with my partner. The food was a real standout. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, and we loved that so much of it was cooked in front of you, which meant it came out properly hot and packed with flavour. Plenty of variety across the week, and we never struggled to find something we wanted to go back for. Drinks were just as good. A great selection of spirits, decent wines and a proper range of soft drinks too, so there was always something to suit whatever mood we were in. The rooms were really nice and modern. Spotlessly clean and tidied every day without fail. The location is brilliant. A short and easy drive from the airport, which made arrival and departure completely stress free. The resort itself is nice and quiet with a properly relaxed feel, never overcrowded and easy to switch off. No fighting for loungers too. The staff were the thing that really pushed this from a good holiday into a great one. Every single person we spoke to was warm and genuinely friendly. A big shout out to the entertainment team in particular, they put so much energy into making sure everyone was having a good time. We'd happily come back. Highly recommend this hotel.

Another great holiday at the new Bahia Escape. The staff are the greatest assent to the hotel, they are all wonderful. The refurbishments have been done very tastefully. Good to have genuine spirits. The bedrooms were cleaned to a high standard - not sure about the open wardrobe system. For 20 years we have mentioned the cold plates for the hot food and nothing has ever been done. Hence the one star removal.
