So this is my review of the hotel. It's modern tidy. The food is acceptable. Rooms were cleaned well everyday withbfrsh towels if needed. The pool is lovely even though the Sun beds are uncomfortable there are plenty of them. The location could be tricky if you are unable to walk long distances as it it situated at the top of the main town approx a 20 minute walk i believe there is a shuttle bus but I did not see it. The bad points. The pool bar seems to be aimed at people who are all inclusive. You have to pay for your own plastic cup which is a Euro, in cash only. No cards are accepted at the pool bar whatsoever. My second comment regarding alcohol at the bar is there seem to be a large amount of guests at this hotel who cannot handle their drinks. Why do the staff keep serving people who clearly are already extremely intoxicated? The hotel at night is like a war zone. People arguing. noise all night, people having domestics, you can hear echoing all down the corridors and through the floors. One night after 3 hours of listening to 2 men in the room next door to me sounding like they were going to murder each other. I decided to try and phone reception ... The number for reception is nowhere to be found. By 3 am i had decided to get up and go to reception, to let them know. I just do not understand how no hotel staff had not noticed. There is 1 guy on reception overnight he rang their room and It did then stop as when they had relaised there had been a noise complaint. I could hear couples arguing constantly for hours at a time 5 nights out of 7. There seems to be no security staff around or any no Noise policy, ie quiet after a certain time whatsoever, the noise from guests goes on until very late / early morning. The noise from the roof top bar combined with the downstairs bar does not make for any kind of relaxing vibe. It's relentless granted the music does usually stop about midnight / 1 am But the noise from people does not. One night i thought, if you cant beat them then join them, and decided to go to the rooftop bar only to be told that it was a private function but i could go in for 12 euros. The rooftop bar is advertised as part of the hotel but this obviously was not the case. I also honestly do not understand why they have rooms directly next to the restaurant , which is always extremely busy and noisy with people queued up in the long echoy corridors to enter the restaurant with rooms right next to it , you can hear everything ... so much for having a lay in.

This hotels atmosphere is wonderful very beautiful hotel to appeal to the eye. Me and my partner stayed here for a week and overall it was good but could have been better. The Hotel staff service could be so much better as someone who works in the customer service field they need to expand their skills. Some of the reception staff seemed miserable and offish for the start of our visit of checking in. They were helpful in ways of getting Beach towels that were 25 Euro deposits each. I walked through the reception on our third day and someone was at the help desk a normal couple asking a question and the person at the desk was speaking back to them in a horrible manner! i was shocked, their tone was awful and spoke in a very argumentative way. The waitor and waitress staff in the restaurant were nice but could be more observant with how many plates are on tables i had seen multiple tables with at least 6 plates stacked just sat there while there was no fresh plates waiting to be used. We were sat in the restaurant while there was a storm outside and it started flooding(nothing that they could do) they tried their best to sweep it away and put towels by the door to stop the floor and moved everyone from the side that it was coming from. The bar staff were nice there was a few in the downstairs bar that weren’t as friendly but i suppose they work long hours but still need to be better with their service skills. If you are visiting for a nice relaxing stay i would say this hotel is awfully loud at night! The roof top bar is on the 7th floor and played until late, we stayed on Level 5 and it was still so loud you could hear the bass of the songs which wasn’t great to sleep in. We also had someone above us on our last night before a 12 hour travel banging constantly from 9pm till 11pm it was that loud that it was actually shaking everything on the sides. The location of the hotel is great lots of mini markets about and is about a 20 minute walk down the hills into the centre of Puerto De La cruz. We paid extra to get a sea view room and it was lovely! The room was clean when we got there and was a very nice bed, we were however a little bit annoyed that they’re two single beds and pull apart in the night if ur by the centre of the bed so me and my partner had no choice of sleeping in a single bed together or separately. The sliding door to the balcony also needs better fixing. The door with the wind from the sea was banging and squeaking constantly, it sounded like someone was trying to break in! The shower is a bath and can get very slippery, it could be very dangerous. The cleaners seemed lovely, we did choose for our own sake not to have housekeeping but they seemed lovely when walking by. The Food that was served was good, was very repetitive but me and my partner did not mind that much, there was a couple of times that we were a bit later to breakfast and lunch and food was cold which wasn’t appetising, my boyfriends beans were cold and the pasta sauce too. They have snacks at the bar too a mixture of bread sandwiches meat and cheese they also had nachos with cheesy sauce. I had a sandwich about 3:30 and the bread was stale on the one side so they need to be looking how long it’s been sitting out for. overall it was a good stay we had a couple of days with horrible weather but nothing that spoiled our fun of going out of the room and obviously could not be helped! i would say that i won’t be coming back here just because it wasn’t the complete relaxing holiday we wanted but was a lovely stay in the end, it seems like a lot of complaining but this is just our personal experience and letting the hotel know what we think they could improve on.
