Just back from a fantastic holiday at the Catalonia Las Vegas and missing it already. The staff are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They are what make the holiday so good. We had Dacil, the same housekeeper as last year! She was pleased to see us and is very hardworking and friendly. She worked hard to ensure our room was kept in very good order. I could see that she had a system in place to ensure that our room was kept clean and tidy. Bedding and towels were renewed as needed. The animation team of Cheryl, Maria, Pedro and Mae are fabulous. They work really hard to get people interested in the daily games. Yet leave you alone if you’re not interested. They make it all great fun. Mingo the lifeguard works hard to keep the pool safe and in good condition. The restaurant staff all work very hard and still remain friendly and smiling. Oliver was smiling and laughing with guests. Pablo spoke very good English and always welcomed us. Carla even remembered our room number! Boubaker. Oliver and Carla sai goodbye to us as we were leaving. All the reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable. We spoke to Roberto. Nikolai. Reuben. Antonio. The only thing I would mention is the lifts dropping a bit because too many guests got in. However, I don’t know how you can stop this. Food was very good some days and not so good on others. I feel the hotel is pretty much as we would expect for the price we pay. It’s not the Ritz but I would say it’s a three star and good value. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel. We can’t wait to come back.

“Going Solo”

Such a lovely friendly hotel. I went with a friend but wouldn't hesitate in going alone . The daily activities organised by the delightful Cheryl and Maria brought people of all nationalities together. Felt safe in thr hotel and surrounding area day and night.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times (can't remember if this is the 10th or 11th) in recent years. We are recognised and warmly welcomed back by the regular staff, be that by reception, restaurant or bar staff, even the life guard remembered us. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Yes, It is a little past its prime, but that is part of its beauty and charm and represents more of the Spanish decor than the sleek glass and shine hotels. All of the staff are friendly and hardworking. Oliver is great (he told me to say that - but actually, he is) and is a great addition to the team. The only negative from this trip was that the garden balcony was being refurbished and much of the garden was sectioned off, which is a shame because the garden is the jewel in this hotels crown and we missed sitting in it We'll be back on the 16th December.

“Standards are slipping”

So disappointed with the Catalonia Las Vegas as the standards are slipping. The toilets in particular are disgusting as they smell so bad. We have been coming for a number of years and it’s alway been hygienic and clean.
