Yes, guests at Chollo 4* Puerto de la Cruz have highlighted that: Stayed for a week beginning of March, check in was quick, we booked a room with balcony facing the city side, but when we got to our room, we had the end room on floor 1 which had a corner balcony with a view of the city plus round the corner we had a pool view with a partial sea view in the distance. The room was basic though spotlessly clean ,with a large double bed, which was 2 single beds pushed together, but they were very comfortable and we slept well all week. The bathroom was a decent size with a bath and shower, the water was piping hot which was great, though you need to be careful if you’ve got children with the hot water. The room had only 1 socket but we managed ok with that, there’s no fridge in the rooms which is a bit of an inconvenience, I used to buy a bag of ice every day and put it into a cool bag and kept my drinks in that. The maids came in every day to make the beds, and replace the towels, they were lovely fair play. We booked bed and breakfast and there was a really good variety of food to choose from. We did pay extra to eat dinner in the evening most nights- 34€ for the 2 of us which we thought was good value when you consider the amount and choice you had. The only negative thing I would say about the food, it wasn’t hot enough for my liking. The pool was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and the bar area was very relaxing with lots of comfy chairs to sit and relax on. Although the hotel is practically on the beach, it is still a good 15/20 minutes walk away from the main centre where most of the restaurants are and it’s around 20 minutes walk from Loro Parque which is definitely a must see, we had a fantastic day there. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, just wish the weather could have been a bit better.
