Lovely little complex, with apartments around a central pool area. We stayed in block A. 110 - Ground floor with our own terrace area. Couldn’t fault the accommodation. Spacious & facilities as needed. Works being done on block B at present were out of sight & caused no disruption to our stay. We chose to stay around the pool most days - water cool on entry but soon acclimatised. Great little pool side snack bar. All staff friendly & helpful. Location excellent - away from any noise. 10 or so minutes one way to harbour & same other way to strip. Turn left outside and past parked cars opposite to find staggered steps to strip. Turn right outside, then left and down to multi storey, enter car park & go through to lifts down to supermarket & strip area. Alternatively a Spar nearby also. Would recommend for a nice little get away!

“Lovely Easter break at HG Lomo Blanco”

We had a lovely stay at the HG Lomo Blanco hotel. The location was excellent, near the main beach, Playa Chica, the old town harbour and Biosfera all within close walking distance. We had a great 2 bedroomed apartment (room 133) which got the sun on the terrace from around 3.30pm everyday so you could sit out in the evening. Check in with very fast with Claudia and the rooms were kept nice and clean. We didn't have an issue with the sunbeds but we could see alot were reserved early in the day and then not used until later in the afternoon. Would definitely stay again.

“No complaints”

Just back from a week at HG Lomo Blanco, Nice , Friendly and Clean, Had breakfast every morning, no complaints there, no problem getting sun beds, everything in walking distance…. Spar and Lidl 10 mins away, Apartment clean and beds super comfy! Had a little outside terrace but no view, not really … more

Just back from a week at HG Lomo Blanco, Nice , Friendly and Clean, Had breakfast every morning, no complaints there, no problem getting sun beds, everything in walking distance…. Spar and Lidl 10 mins away, Apartment clean and beds super comfy! Had a little outside terrace but no view, not really a self catering place as kitchen not really equipped, microwave meals only really…. But if you can eat out it’s fine, ate at restaurant on site, very tasty! No real complaints, a good value for money stay with friendly staff 😊

“Friendly hotel”

After feeling a bit apprehensive, I emailed the hotel with a few requests, which they did their best to accommodate. I was given apartment 214, upstairs as requested. However, traffic noise from lorries and buses does start around 6:30am (not the hotel’s fault). Upon arrival, we were checked in by very helpful staff. The safe cost €20 for the week, with €6 refunded at the end of the stay. Apartment: We had a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed and an additional separate bed next to the sofa for the two kids. The apartment was clean, and housekeeping did a great job, providing plenty of towels. A couple of minor issues to note: there were only three knives in the cutlery drawer, and there was a distinct lack of working plug sockets. None in the bedroom worked, and we only had one in the bathroom and two in the kitchen. We managed by charging devices at different times, so didn’t feel the need to raise it. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but two fans were provided (we didn’t use them). A top tip: close the curtains when leaving the apartment to keep it cool. The blackout wooden shutters in the bedroom were excellent, making the room completely dark even during the day. Pool area: The pool area was great. There was a lifeguard on duty during the day who allowed the kids to enjoy themselves with inflatables and pool toys. Staff regularly checked water levels and cleaned the pool and surrounding area every morning, which was impressive. One negative that does need addressing: the pool bar doesn’t display prices for food like pizzas and burgers, and we were charged different amounts for the same items on different days. Inside the hotel, the toilets and bar area had been newly refurbished and were spotless. Location: For me, the hotel is in a brilliant location. You can head right towards the harbour or left towards the main strip. It is up a hill if coming back from the main strip, but if you return via the harbour and come back past Biosphere, it’s mostly flat. A useful tip: if you want to avoid the hill, go into the SOCO Centre. Next to Mercadona, there are three lifts. Take one to level 3, walk through the car park, and you’ll come out onto a very gentle slope (about 80m), which most people should find manageable. Mercadona, Spar, and Lidl are all within a five-minute walk for essentials. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. During our stay, upgrades were taking place in apartment block B, including refurbishment and installation of air conditioning. Despite this, there was very little noise or disruption. Overall: Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes. Great staff and a great location
