“A good honest review read it”

We just got home from a week here. My wife and I and our two friends NOT Bad at all we all had a great time. Pretty much all the reviews I looked made our party worried before we arrived. Very worried Bad food Rubbish staff Terrible localtion All inclusive drinks not good Cleaners dont come Place is dirty Infested with bugs The list goes on and in our experience we found all these review to be very misleading our experiences was great we are all late 30s early 40s wasn't our first holiday We had not one complaint with the food or hours it was available. If you are going to choose to eat the same thing every day ofcourse it's going to be repetitive. Plenty of different choices in our opinion and everyone we spoke to there enjoying there holiday food was good.. Staff couldn't do enough for you if you ask the would do what they could to make it happen. I emailed before we arrived on two different occasions with a request to be put high up as possible for thd view which is great and that our 3 rooms were as close as possible obviously going with friend we didn't want to just bump into each other. I got a very quick response from the receptionist saying they would do there best to fulfill my request. They did we got 3 room next to each other other 10/10 The location it's is up a hill most hotels are up a hill in the resort on the way back to your hotel. unless your sleeping on the beach your are going to go up hill to go back cant blame the hotel for being up hill Be prepared for steps at the hotel Alot of steps if you have mobility issues young children or you just are not a fan of stairs the higher levels are not for you Simple. I requested the top I'm sure they would try to accommodate you if you asked not to be high. The all inclusive drink as the same as anywhere bars open 10am - 23.00pm always staff there happy and ready to serve you what ever drink you want very generous servings no complaints atall Cleaners are lovely helpful in your room everyday changing towels and beds everyday and taking your rubbish away we had no issues atall with the room cleaning service The place is Not dirty it's in need of updating abit bit of paint wouldn't hurt it is not like the reviews we saw saying it's discusting and filthy IT'S NOT filthy and disgusting its old could definitely do with abit of re refurb but it's not an expensive place to go for a week being a bit out dated didn't bother us or anyone we spoke to there We did not see a single bug certainly wasn't infested. Only issues I/we personally had the pool needs attention it's usable it's missing some tiles here and there that needs attention is got plenty of use when we were there slats someone in there it's a good size The music around the pool is not great very repetitive and well could definitely be better NOT the end of the world honestly We asked to keep a room on as we had a late flight we were told sorry we are fully booked this is fare enough there is a shower downstairs everyone can't use great no problem atall BUT the issue we had when we ask for a towel we were refused knowing all are bags are behind there reception safe and we have no rooms being told we could use a towel but the showers are there annoyed all 4 of us. Quick fix litte table in reception with a few towels for guest leaving using the shower would be great Other than that we had a great time Thanks to all the staff there.

I was really nervous to stay here due to being used to 5 star hotels and seeing some negative reviews however I am completely shocked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bellevue Aquarius. The rooms were clean a bit outdated and in need of a refurb but the beds were comfy. The only major issue with the rooms is if you are on level 4 or 5 it is quite a walk to your room and involved a lot of stairs. Also, the keycards were very faulty to the point we had to go to reception on a daily basis sometimes twice a day to get them sorted. The pool area is your average blue sunbeds vibe. The pool itself is nice and quite deep. There are many many many missing and loose tiles on the pool and it needs a good refurb however it doesn’t really cause a issue because you can’t touch the floor anyway and the pool itself Is still lovely. The food is really nice. It’s nothing fancy but it’s all tasty. When eating you get a drink bought to you and it is a buffet style. They switch up the hot options on a daily basis but have chicken nuggets burgers hotdogs and chips for those picky eaters. The staff are very lovely and attentive and can’t do any more for you. They are all very talkative and kind. The only negative things about the all inclusive is snacks are not included and the cocktails come from a vending machine they are still nice it would just be nice to have frozen ones. Also, on our last day we weren’t flying home until 19:30 and when we checked out at 12 you have to have your wrist band cut off and then you have to pay for your drinks until you leave we were allowed to have dinner but not and drinks. If you come to the hotel on your first day early you are not allowed the last dinner to be included only breakfast. We arrived at 00:30 which is why we were allowed dinner. The entertainment has room for improvement however I do believe they are probably doing their best with the budget they’ve got. The breakfast is served 8-10 dinner 1-3 and tea is 7-9. Drinks are 10-11. The hotel also has self catering facilities in the rooms which consists of pots pans cutlery a stove top a toaster a microwave and an oven and mugs and glasses. The beach is a 10 minute walk away so are the shops and pubs there are a few pubs a bit closer to the hotel aswell. Overall the experience at this hotel was very good and I will definitely be returning. It is a good price it just needs a good refurb.
