I can't recommend this hotel enough, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, check-in was smooth and everything was explained to us very well. Our room was big and clean, we were lucky to have 2 balconies, one to the front overlooking the Cabana Beds with a table and chairs, this was a good size and then another balcony to the back with 2 sunbeds on. We didn't use the one with the sunbeds on as the sun was on it all day and there wasn't any shade, I'm sure though if we had asked for an umbrella, we would have got one but we were happy without. The room was spotlessly clean throughout and was cleaned daily. The beds were really comfy and we slept well, in fact probably the most comfiest beds we have slept on in a hotel in many years. We paid for the use of the safe in the room, again one of the most easiest set ups for a safe we have used. It was a 25 deposit and you got 10 back at checkout. I can't comment on the cooking facilities in the room and how good they were, as we didn't do any cooking but I'm sure they would be fine for anyone looking to make food. There are 2 bottles of water and small chocolate bars on arrival in your room, which was a nice touch. Bathroom is a good size with a walk in shower and there is shower gel provided and hand soap. You don have to be careful where you put the bath mat, as quite a lot of water goes onto the floor, so that gets soaked. My only very very small gripe in the bathroom was there isn't a lot of space to put your toiletries. There is space around the sink but that isn't very big, so maybe a shelf on the wall or under the sink would help but that is minor. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, there are a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas, so no fighting for them but whether this is the case in the height of the season, I don't know. The use of the Cabana beds are free, which is good (I've been to other hotels where you have had to rent them for the day) and it's nice they are on a separate level to the pool, so if you wanted to have some quiet (if it was noisy) you can. The water in the pool is very cold and saltwater but on a hot day, it is very welcome and you soon get used to it. Pool towels are free, you just need to ask reception for them. The pool bar is very nice with lots of shade if you want to get out of the sun. You are asked where you are sitting and if around the pool, they give you paper cups to use. We did have a pizza one day to share and it's quite big so definitely for 2. The staff are really friendly and keep the area spotless. When ordering drinks/food you had the choice of either paying for them at the bar or adding them to your room bill, you just needed to show them your room card and they scanned it. I really liked this, as you didn't need to worry about having money with you around the pool. We found the food to be really good, I can eat anything, not fussy at all but my husband is really fussy but he found plenty to eat and never felt their wasn't enough choice. Breakfast was a good selection as well, from continental to full English and everything in between. We normally stay all inclusive, so therefore the hotels are bigger and the food stations are normally more than what was in this hotel but what we both found was we enjoyed the food more as there wasn't a huge amount, that can sometimes be a bit overwhelming with so much choice. You have to show your room card for evening meals, again these are scanned and you can have your drinks bill added to your room if you don't want to pay there & then. The location of the hotel is at the top of the hill and the walk into the main resort center is around 20-25 minutes, depending on how quick you walk but it was a nice walk after dinner. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the main center and it's a really nice walk along the seafront. We didn't go onto the beach but it did look a really nice and clean one. You can either get the bus back to the hotel and the stop is a 30 second walk or a taxi and they varied between 3 and 5. There are loads of taxi's about, so you don't struggle to get one. I think apart from the great atmosphere and cleanliness of the complex, it's the staff that give the best credit to this hotel. Everyone we encountered where friendly and polite and made you fell very welcome. Would we go back here, most definitely.
