Arrival at check in very efficient. Our room was great overall,we had a nice balcony(not much sun on it)with a partial sun view. Bathroom very modern with great touches such as shampoo,lots of soap options and good shower. Lots of English channels on the tv which was really nice as well considering most hotels locally have not much. Food was ok but not the best choices we’ve seen. However my wife very happy with the salad bar which was huge. Breakfast probably best with great options and plentiful. I like the omelettes and drinks available particularly.Did experience a nasty piece of raw chicken on our first night but this very isolated but made me careful with the meats after this Didn’t do the entertainment so can’t comment Overriding feeling for this place was very friendly staff, this was lovely as not always the case on our experiences in Lanzarote Didn’t do trips as know the island quite well but the walk to old town we did most days and had our lunches there.The prices for drinks in old town very reasonable but also busy and vibrant This was a great holiday but made special through the hotel,we went half board,but will visit again we feel so well done😬

“Great Hotel”

Absolutely fantastic hotel. We went just before Xmas and to start with the reception staff were so welcoming informing us of everything in the area, Also explained the layout of the hotel, all staff are very friendly and hardworking always pleasant on approach, the cleaning staff came every day, Changing the towels, bedding and cleaning the floors. Our room was excellent sea view, balcony, Great bathroom with shower, We stayed b+b and couldn't fault the food, Plenty of choice and hot. The hotel is on the flat and close to all the amenities in the area. We had such a wonderful stay we've booked to stay again for Jan 27. Can't wait to go back.

I stayed for four days with my partner and we had a lovely stay! The hotel is absolutely spotless, staff are friendly & helpful. We had our room upgraded which was a lovely surprise! The room was big & cleaned every day!! The location of the hotel is fantastic close to all the shops, restaurants, bars & beach! I think the downside for us was the food, breakfast was great, however lunch & dinner we didn’t like, theres lots of fish & random things that don’t go together so we ate out most days due to this. What we did eat was well cooked but just not to our taste!

“Fantastic holiday, superb location, brilliant staff, crew improvements needed”

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday here and would definitely return. The hotel is in a superb location, with easy access to the beach (although if using the rear entrance, be aware there are quite a lot of steps coming back up). Overall, we had a fantastic holiday here and would definitely return. The hotel is in a superb location, with easy access to the beach (although if using the rear entrance, be aware there are quite a lot of steps coming back up). It’s also very easy to arrange taxis through reception, which arrived within minutes, and the hotel can help organise trips as well. We were travelling with a guest who had mobility issues, so we requested a room near the lift with a walk-in shower. This was provided exactly as requested and was greatly appreciated. The room itself was spotless every day and housekeeping standards were excellent. We had a sofa bed which was initially very uncomfortable, but once mentioned it was changed to a mattress. Likewise, one pillow was exceptionally lumpy, and even reception seemed surprised by it — but it was replaced immediately. A special mention must go to Mari Carmen on reception, who was one of the loveliest hotel staff members we’ve ever encountered. She was efficient, understanding, warm, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She was an absolute credit to the hotel. The two lads working in the cocktail bar were also very helpful. The main area where the hotel could improve is communication and information. While it was refreshing not to be surrounded by signs everywhere, it did mean there was a lack of useful guidance. For example, we spent ages trying to work out how to use the room safe, only to later discover at reception that you need to hire a key to insert into the door. We also didn’t realise there was a laundry service. A simple welcome booklet or information sheet in the room would make a big difference. Breakfast was excellent overall, with a huge selection and something for everyone — fresh fruit, cold items, breads, pastries, and an omelette station. The only consistent disappointment was the bacon, which was always extremely overcooked, dark brown, and brittle. Service in the breakfast restaurant was mixed. Some staff were fine, but we found several of the male waiters rather surly and not especially welcoming. One in particular was rude and visibly annoyed when we wanted to take food to an elderly family member with mobility issues who was unable to move easily. The pool area itself was excellent. The pool was always a perfect temperature, spotlessly clean, and had shallow steps with a handrail, which was ideal for our guest with mobility issues. Drinks from the pool bar were reasonably priced at around €5 including alcohol, with generous measures, and the pool bar staff were generally much friendlier than some of the restaurant staff. However, there was again a lack of information regarding towels. We managed fine for the first couple of days, then on Monday a different pool attendant in a red shirt appeared and was quite abrupt with us because we didn’t have towel tickets — something we had never been told about. He remained rather unfriendly throughout. On one windy day, a large umbrella flew out of its base, narrowly missing one of our party before hitting someone else. Instead of checking on guests, he immediately focused on mopping up a spilled drink, which was disappointing to see. The cocktail bar itself was pleasant, though every time we visited it was overwhelmingly hot inside, so I imagine it could be uncomfortable during the height of summer. Despite a few service inconsistencies and communication issues, this was a smashing holiday overall. The hotel itself is lovely, the location is fantastic, and with a few improvements it could easily be exceptional. We would absolutely return.
