As a family of ten spread across three rooms, this was our first visit to Relaxia Olivina. Our room (2 adults and 2 kids) We were allocated room 301, tucked away in one corner of this huge complex. It was a bit of a walk, but the room itself was comfortable enough. Unlike one of the other rooms in our party, which had air conditioning (the lucky so-and-sos!), ours had ceiling fans. Thankfully, they did a decent job of keeping us cool throughout the stay. We all felt we could have done with an extra pillow, so we mentioned it to reception on our first evening. By the time we returned to our room later that night, they’d already been delivered. A big tick for customer service. Unfortunately, we weren’t the only guests in the room on day one. A few ants had already moved in. While it’s not unusual to find the odd unwanted visitor in a warm climate, these weren’t particularly welcome. Reception noted it at the same time as the pillow request and, to be fair, they sent housekeeping that same evening to deal with it. Another tick – and we didn’t see another ant for the rest of the holiday. The bathroom was functional but definitely showing its age. The shower was the biggest disappointment. The hose was loose and, unless you held the shower head at exactly the right angle with just the right water pressure, most of the water ended up everywhere except on the person trying to shower. It worked, but only with a bit of patience. Outside space The patio area outside room 301 could really do with some attention. If you approached it from the rear in isolation, you’d almost think the hotel had been closed for years. The table and chairs looked heavily weathered and well past their best, giving the impression they’d simply been left there for years. It wasn’t quite bad enough for us to report it, and we didn’t spend much time out there, although it did catch the evening sun. A refresh of this area would make a noticeable difference. Entertainment The entertainment was one of the highlights of the holiday, particularly for the under-18s. Friday’s daytime foam party was a huge hit with all four of our children, aged between 8 and 16. Later that evening, the White Party (don’t forget to pack something white!) was equally well received. DJs, singers, plenty of classic anthems and dancing outside late into the evening created a fantastic atmosphere. There was another party night towards the end of our stay too, which made for a great send-off. Reception and taxis We only ventured out for an evening once during our stay, and reception couldn’t have been more helpful. They arranged taxis for us, and around five to ten minutes later they were waiting outside the hotel. Simple, efficient and hassle-free. Pools, sunbeds and bars We found our spot for the week and barely moved. There were plenty of good-quality sunbeds available, and the pools were clean, well maintained and never felt overcrowded. The Janubio pool bar became our regular haunt. The staff there were brilliant and it had a really relaxed atmosphere. The only downside was that it closed around 6pm, just as many people were settling in for the evening. Food Again, no complaints here. There was plenty of choice throughout the week, and the restaurant staff were excellent—friendly, hardworking and always happy to help. They kept everything running smoothly, even at the busiest times. Overall All in all, Relaxia Olivina proved to be a great choice for our three-generation family holiday. Like any hotel, there were a few areas that could do with some attention, but they were outweighed by the friendly, responsive staff, good entertainment, pleasant pool area and enjoyable food. We’d happily consider returning in the future.

Just about to go home and we are gutted. The hotel is clean food it does repeat as all hotel food does but you will always find something and there is a good choice and there loads of drinks to choose from included. Just about to go home and we are gutted. The hotel is clean food it does repeat as all hotel food does but you will always find something and there is a good choice and there loads of drinks to choose from included. The staff make this place Victor at reception Billy at the bar and all the entertainment team are amazing I would name them all but would not want to miss one out because they were all brilliant. The hotel is clean and it's in a great location can reach it all by foot if you don't mind the walk you can walk to old town like we did. Or go the other way and see the places fly right over your head. We would definitely come back come back.

Start with the positive : great food, good location, plenty of sun beds, rooms very clean, gardens clean , pool got cleaned everyday , entertainment at night was ok but could be improved. Some negative points. Entertainment staff were ignorant , pool bar - coffee , drink and slushy machine broke down at 1 point all 3 coffee machines were out of order, they also ran out of beer and Spirts. Bins were overflowing at the pool, glasses and bottles allowed at pool side, smoking also aloud in non smoking areas. Not enough bar staff at bar at night. Bird poo on seating cushions.
