Excellent location, although address given as Los Pocillos it’s only a 15 minute walk to centre of Puerto del Carmen. 5 minutes walk to beach and bus stops. Room a bit outdated, carpet very worn but very clean. Cleaned every day. I had a garden room in main hotel so well situated for restaurant, bar and pool. Food was a bit similar but always fresh and plenty to choose from. Always fresh food at snack bar mostly sandwiches, cake, fruit and ice cream. Help yourself area for tea, coffee, wine and beer all day. All inclusive bar until midnight. Variety of entertainment every evening. Animation team were excellent. Plenty of things to join in during the day if you wish or just chill by the pool. All staff were very helpful and friendly. As a solo traveller, I found the environment very safe and comfortable. Good value. Would go back.

Excellent location, walking distance to the town and beach. Food is excellent with a wide variety to suit all tastes. Our ground floor family room was clean and the beds were comfortable, they supplied more pillows on request. As others have mentioned, there is a lack of electric sockets in the rooms so take an extension lead. Also no tea and coffee facilities so take a travel kettle if you want a drink in your room. We were in a room overlooking the 2nd pool (there are 3) and next to the pool bar. There is another quieter pool across the road. It was a 5 minute walk to the dining room. We loved feeding the parakeets who would land on our hands if we had food for them. There was plenty of entertainment going on every day either in or around the main pool and different shows at night. The only criticism would be the long queues to get a drink in the evening and they regularly ran out of cocktails. All the entertainment staff were very friendly and approachable. In fact, all the staff were fríendly.

The grounds are beautiful and in a great location. 5 mins to the front with shops and beach. Three swimming pools and we spent time at the second one which is quieter. The room was really basic, not in the main block. Only a ceiling fan in the bedroom and nothing in the lounge where the second bed is set up. It was ridiculously hot in here and when we asked if there was a solution they said it’s our fault because we’re not in the main block but then went on to say we can’t move to the main block as my son was too old! They suggested we pay to hire an air con unit, we left it with a manager and came back to the room to a fan which was much appreciated. One of the perks of being in the other rooms was we had two loungers which we used however on day 4 they had all been taken and moved to the pool. Very bizarre especially without notice! Lastly for the room, there is a fridge but a kettle, some cutlery and plates etc would make it so much better, it has the space for it! The food - lots of variety and salad selection was great. It did get a bit samey especially at lunch. Problem which I had read before we went is the food wasn’t hot enough. The plates were scalding so beware! But the food its self wasn’t even lukewarm in some instances. Staff - the bar staff by our pool were atrocious. It closed at 18:00 and on two occasions they stopped serving at 17:45! So rude too. There was also another in the restaurant who was a jobsworth and tried to dictate where you sat but no one else did. We would probably return as it was clean and really reasonable. But it could be so much better with a few tweaks!
