Just home after week holiday with 2 young kids. So clean and well maintained. Pools great for kids. Only negative lots of steps for little ones. Food super and varied. Staff friendly and helpful. Cant fault!

We have been coming to the Hotel Sentido Aequora Lanzarote for many years and its always a pleasure to come back here. The Staff are fantastic, the food is delicious. My granddaughters went to the kids club and they had a great time with the animation team. The entertainment is very good. My friend and I are already booked to come back again. The Hotel is spotless and the rooms are cleaned every day. Lots of activities for adults and kids. Thanks to all the Staff and management for making our holidays great. Lovely modern clean spacious suite. The Poseidon Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner buffet style & has plenty of variety to choose from. Lovely modern clean spacious suite. The Poseidon Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner buffet style & has plenty of variety to choose from. There is also the Don Paco Restaurant which is A La Carte which you need to make a reservation in advance. We really enjoyed having drinks in the Captain Nemo adults only cocktail bar, the cocktails were seriously good! There were three pools to choose from, we personally preferred the adult pool are as it was nice and quiet. One of the other pools had entertainment on throughout the day and was quite noisy at times. It was a 5 minute walk to Playa De Los Pocillos, where you could walk along the promenade. We caught the bus there to Puerto Del Carmen, which was inexpensive. Overall a really good resort and holiday. Something to be aware of is unless you are in a ground floor suite, you have to carry your luggage up the stairs as there are no lifts.

Incredibly pleasant stay at Aequora Lanzarote Suites as all inclusive guests. We’re not usually the type of couple to return to the same place twice, but we would definitely come back here. On arrival, we were met by a reception FULL of guests waiting to check in. This couldn’t really be helped as a large bus had just dropped off a tour group from France. We spoke to a staff member who was happy to give us our all-inclusive wristbands and advised us to put our luggage in the luggage room, go and enjoy some food and drinks, and come back later to check in. We booked through On the Beach and unfortunately there was a problem when checking in as they couldn’t find our booking. The staff remained incredibly calm and immediately put us at ease. After around half an hour, we were informed there had been an error with the booking — but it wasn’t a problem, as they would place us in the best room available. Luckily for us, that was a Master Suite! Rooms: It took a little longer to get the room ready as they weren’t expecting it to be used, but upon entering we were greeted with a huge and pristine apartment with pool views, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The balcony had seating, a table, and four sun loungers. The bathrooms were stocked with shower gel and shampoo/conditioner. Both had hairdryers, and the showers were incredible — large waterfall heads that I could’ve stayed under all day! The apartment had air conditioning throughout, which kept it lovely and cool, and the beds were very comfortable. You can also choose how often you want your room cleaned, which was a nice touch. Pool: There are three pools — the “main” pool seemed to be where most of the families stayed, there’s a smaller adults-only pool, and another pool with a bar and snack bar. This latter pool is where we spent most of our days. There was music playing throughout the day and the entertainment staff always had activities going on. There are plenty of sun loungers too (the comfy kind, not the hard white plastic ones). At the start of May it was busier than we expected, but we never struggled to get a lounger, even arriving around 10am. Everything was kept very clean and there were shaded areas available if you wanted them. The pool like all pools is cold, but you soon acclimatise and it’s a welcome relief on the hot days. The pool bar/snack bar had everything you’d need during the day. They serve Amstel on tap, cocktails, branded soft drinks, and everything else you’d expect from an all-inclusive. The snack bar always had chips, nuggets, burgers, salads, and other quick bites available. Food: There are two buffet restaurants — one adults-only and one open to everyone — both serving the same food. There is also a third restaurant which requires pre-booking and a supplement fee, but we didn’t visit so can’t comment on it. We mainly used the adults-only buffet. We always got a table straight away and staff quickly came over to take drink orders. Breakfast drinks are self-service, but lunch and dinner drinks are table service. For breakfast you can expect the usual options: hot food, yoghurt, fruit, bread, pancakes, and pastries. Lunch and dinner varied daily, but there was always a selection of meats, fish, potatoes, salads, chips, pizza, and pasta. The food quality was very good — much better than other all-inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at before. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout. My only criticism would be that the food could be labelled more clearly. As a vegetarian, there was sometimes a bit of guessing involved as to whether dishes contained meat or fish. That said, there were always plenty of vegetarian-friendly options available, so I never went hungry. The restaurant areas were always immaculate, with tables cleared quickly and food stations kept exceptionally clean and well managed. Bars & Entertainment: The pool bar mentioned above closes from 6pm–8pm before reopening for evening entertainment, which seemed more aimed at younger children. We didn’t spend much time there in the evenings, so can’t comment too much, but the entertainment team worked incredibly hard — you’d constantly see them rehearsing in between daytime activities. There’s also a bar near reception open from 5pm–11pm. It has an indoor section, usually with a singer performing in the evenings, as well as a lovely outdoor seating area where we spent most of our nights. There was a third bar too, although we unfortunately didn’t get around to visiting it. Staff: All the staff were incredibly hardworking, polite, and friendly. Whether it was the entertainment team, bar staff, restaurant staff, or reception, I genuinely don’t have a bad thing to say about anyone. Location: The hotel is within a two-minute walk of a local Spar and around three minutes from the beach, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. The main strip is about a 30-minute walk away, or roughly €5 in a taxi. It is around a 10min drive from the airport which costs ~€15. Overall, a really glowing review for Aequora Lanzarote Suites — a fantastic all-inclusive hotel that we would happily return to.
