From the moment we were welcomed by the friendly staff, who gave us a couple of bags containing sandwiches, fruit etc. (due to us being late arrivals) to when we checked out, we had a lovely week’s holiday. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean, with comfortable beds and everything you need for a relaxing holiday, my only gripe is that the air conditioning in our room (4019) was not the best, but the room we had was ideally located for all 3 pools and adults restaurant so this more than made up it🙂 The food was really nice, lots of variety, fresh and every day there was plenty of choice and enough for everyone. The hotel had a really nice pleasant atmosphere and the week we stayed there were always plenty of sunbeds available. The location is also ideal, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We stayed here in 2018 and there has been a few changes, for the good. A nice place to sit, have a drink and watch the entertainment. Startlight in particular were very good, with a fantastic guitarist. We would definitely come back (again) and recommend it to anyone who wants to discover this part of Lanzarote as the bus stop to get you to other parts of Lanzarote is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel.

We stayed here for 10 nights. We asked for ground floor room unfortunately the room allocated was not to our requirements. Upon approaching reception the morning after first night, Jordi was amazing and although he was unable to move us for another 24 hours the new allocation was perfect. We used adult areas, pool, bar and Poseidon restaurant. Food plentiful, amazing salad bar, freshly cooked fish, chicken and meats at the grill with Italian area, pizza and pasta with sauces. Boulangerie bread bar was fabulous too. Our room was quirky with loo and shower next to each other in opaque glass, but I would say this was semi private as glass walls didn't reach ceiling not an issue for us after 46 years married but I can understand it could be problem for others. Room cleaned daily and towels replaced on request. It was spotless. The walkways around hotel were constantly being cleaned with ride on cleaning machines including washing down. There are quite a few stairs involved downstairs to restaurants and most rooms are up one or two flights. Pools were also spotless and tidied at end of day. Plenty of sunbeds in sun and in shade. We didn't use pool as water was a little too chilly for me personally but there were plenty of people in adult pool and of course the children's area was busy as our first few days clashed with UK half term. We didn't use animation team or theatre entertainment but I understand from others this was fine. Bar staff attentive and accommodating. We walked daily to shopping area and into Puerto del Carmen. We also used bus on several occasions very cheap. The jet 2 rep was extremely helpful and gave us valuable intel on area and other establishments we are considering for a 6 week stay next January. However after viewing a couple we agree nothing matches this hotel and our 6 weeks will be at Aequora. We paid to extend our checkout time well worth the money as we retained the AI status and use of our room facilities until our departure to airport. Again reception team were amazing and very helpful. Minor niggles, no tissues in room, coffee pods and machine not brilliant and no instructions and coffee cups not big enough tiny espresso cup and another that was also very small. We purchased mugs in onsite shop so we were sorted. I have also suggested to hotel it would be a nice option to have hot beverages at dinner not everyone wants alcohol or soda with evening meal and like to finish with coffee. All in all it was a fab holiday and great value for money. We will be back

My wife and I have had lots of All Inclusive holidays over the years and we can confirm that our holiday was very good. The short transfer from the airport was welcome after a few problems for my wife with the finger print process at the airport. When travelling with other people I would advise not going through to baggage reclaim before you are all successfully through. Check in was easy and quick, we were given a small carrier bag with sandwiches, fruit and drink. When you first arrive the place looks enormous but we soon got our bearings and found some shortcuts. The food was plentiful and of a reasonable standard in the main adults only part of the dining room, the staff were quick to find an available table and drinks are ordered and delivered by the restaurant staff, all the wine is acceptable as is the beer and bottles of water. Entertainment was a mix of talented professionals and the Animation Team who are really pleasant and approachable. There are two entertainment locations, the Teatro Maris which caters for children and families and the Nautilus Lounge which is intended more for adults, with some very good shows. There is also the Captain Nero bar which we didn’t use but for a quiet place it looks ideal. There is also an à la carte restaurant that is chargeable and we didn’t fancy the menu so we didn’t go. We were in Block 5 which is for adults and it has its own pool that I found very cold!!.It also has the chill out bar with a shady seating area, and a very good bar man, we spent a good few hours there. The room was large and comfortable with a great shower and view over the pool. There are two upper level and the stairs ate a bit narrow and steep, if you have mobility problems, ask for the ground floor. There is a bar called Marcos behind the Spar on the front that is worth a visit for the music and football. As we like to try other places I don’t think we will be going back soon but I won’t rule it out.

“Lovely experience”

We had a lovely time here. It is perfect for families, all is very clean, the food is good and the staff is very nice and helpful. We especially appreciated the girls from the kids club. Candy and Angela were so nice to our son.
