“Good family hotel”

Great location, beside beach. Lots of activities for everyone. Kids Club staff were great at keeping the kids entertained, especially Amelia. Buffet food was very good and lots of variety. Rooms were clean and modern. Good value for money.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights and had a really pleasant trip. Upon arrival, (as our flight was delayed) we had missed the time for dinner but were provided a nice, simple bag of food (sandwich, some drinks and fruit). We had also requested beforehand a room close to the adults only pool which we were given too! The rooms were spacious, cool and clean, with an open bathroom area, mini cooler/fridge and a balcony with a table and some chairs (if not on the ground floor). There were three pools to choose from, though we stuck solely to the adults pool, if you are looking for activities or more liveliness the other two are the ones for you, but get there early as they are the busiest. The staff were friendly and smiley, they kept the place clean and were accommodating across all areas of the hotel - from the reception to the buffet. The dinner time food was great, lots of variety, plenty of options for any kind of preferences and the style of meals changed each night we were there. The breakfasts were nice too but didn't change and options were fairly basic, but still healthy and well cooked and tasty. As we stayed half board we didn't get many drinks from the bars or have lunch there so can't really comment on the quality but if the rest is anything to go by they will likely be very good standard. The resort is in a really nice spot (beach wise) and right next to a Spar. Despite being around a mile away from both Puerto Del Carmen and Arrecife there is a regular bus (Linea 03) that runs throughout the day and even does hourly trips into the late night/early morning; useful if you enjoy having some drinks and a dance. The only place for improvement would be the 'guest shower', if you have a late flight - as checkout is at 11am - you might still want to enjoy your last hours at the hotel and spend some time at the pool/beach. You must first book a slot in advance (which isn't an issue at all), but the place you are given a key to was a little disappointing. The shower head points at a strange angle and the area doesn't drain particular efficiently which leaves rest of the floor with a puddle. The lock system for the door is also a bit broken and didn't fill me with confidence that it was going to hold should someone pull it open. We had a really good time, and found it to be good quality, good value place to stay that couples of any age would enjoy.

We've stayed in many hotels on a half-board basis, and every one of them included at least one complimentary drink with each meal. Guests could usually choose from bottled water, a draft beer, a glass of wine, or a soft drink. Many people choose half board because it helps them budget for their holiday expenses. However, when every drink has to be charged to your room at lunch and dinner, the cost quickly adds up. By the end of your stay, you're left with a surprisingly large bill. So because of this we found ourselves eating out as we were going to be paying for our drinks anyways and could have got a pint of beer for alot cheaper in local restraunts. It's such a shame because it takes away from what has otherwise been a wonderful holiday and leaves you going home with a slightly negative feeling. That being said, the hotel overall is beautiful, and we had a fantastic stay. The entertainment team were absolutely incredible—so talented, energetic, and they truly went above and beyond to make every guest feel included. We stayed as a family of 9, including three children. Two of them attended the kids' club and absolutely loved it. The staff took the time to learn all of the children's names and were fantastic with them, especially around the pool. Their kindness and enthusiasm really made our holiday extra special. The food was okay. As we stayed for two weeks, we found the menu became a little repetitive after a while, and we felt there could have been a few more options available for children. While the food was perfectly edible, we felt there was room for improvement in terms of variety. There was also one gentleman on reception who deserves a special mention. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name, which I'm disappointed about because he truly went above and beyond for us. Jet2 had misplaced our pram for a few days after our flight, and we needed one for a night. He arranged one for us without any fuss, which made a stressful situation so much easier. He was also incredibly pleasant and helpful when we were checking out. His excellent customer service did not go unnoticed. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and made some fantastic family memories. The standout feature of this hotel is, without a doubt, the entertainment team. They are the heart of the hotel and work tirelessly to ensure guests of all ages have an unforgettable experience. We would certainly consider returning in the future if the price was right and more affordable

As for the brutal honestly of this hotel I’ve stayed in many 4/5 stars but this probably a 2+ at best only food you’ll find is pork/chicken and chips there salad is always good as is there fruit but seriously for a 4 star hotel I expect better. BBQ night was on Thursday and we were excited not a single burger hot dog chicken kebab skewers in site only pork chop and chicken drumstick my son was in tears and ate chips for dinner after eating chips at lunch we have had a better BBQ at 2 star Cinco Plazas. Room layout was nice only 2 seats on the balcony when there’s 3 to a room also not good enough. Pools are nice and kids like splash bubbles area. Snack bar also worst I’ve ever seen bacon/beans and chips and ice cream at least but we are clutching at straws here aren’t we quite clear the hotel is trying to be as cheap as possible. Managed it for a week glad I wasn’t staying for any longer and it takes a lot to wish your coming back to Scotland instead of staying in Lanzarote. Girls are the kids club amazing though and all the waiters cleaners everyone friendly but the hotel needs to do better by a mile. Also love the out door cinema idea but stupidly put next to a bar where there’s live music so once that starts 15 mins after the movie you can’t hear it so someone needs to re think that one as well. Mad they played the England World Cup game but not the Spain one literally in Spain.
