“Fantastic entertainment for kids”

Great holiday for the kids. Lorenzo and his team work around the clock making sure there is plenty activities and the kids remain busy with entertainment.

We booked a last minute holiday and flights were limited due to Easter holidays, so we made a quick decision to come to this hotel, and we were generally really pleased. The area is lovely, we walked everyday. The kids club staff were so patient with my shy little boy, and the various activities, fitness, and entertainment options were awesome. The full body workout and step workout ruined my legs for days! The staff were lovely, particularly Lorenzo who was so enthusiastic and so much fun - really made our holiday. The sunbed situation was the main negative - on our first morning we were by the pool for 8.50 (it opens at 10) and there were already no sunbeds. The following morning we went down at 7.30, and there were still none left. The third morning we went down at 6am and managed to get the beds. So frustrating and we barely saw any of the people who’d reserved the beds actually using them.

“3 hour queue at the airport.”

Great location but needs more sunbeds and space, the sunbeds are very close together and most are on raised areas so you can't really move them. Great location but needs more sunbeds and space, the sunbeds are very close together and most are on raised areas so you can't really move them. This also was a concern for the safety of our 3 year old grandaughter. All the staff here were welcoming and polite and kept everything ticking over. The food could have been better and warmer but I'm a picky eater anyway. The worse thing though was the 3 hour queue to register/enter Lanzarote at the airport, with no toilets, no advice or guidance. Egates don't work.

“Sunbeds, smoking and a school canteen”

To start - the hotel is a little dated but actually not as bad as some of the reviews suggest. The staff are all excellent and very friendly, in particular the reception staff. Great location, big pools, beachfront. The drinks are great and mostly on self serve, makes things nice and easy. Snack bar is decent. Some negatives which impacted enjoyment. Sunbeds. Obscene. A policy needs introducing and enforcing - as others have said, on a nice day you will need to be putting towels down at 7am. That is not an exaggeration. Most people do not even return to them either, and one of the worst examples we came across (which WAS dealt with) was someone placing towels down the night before. Smoking is a huge issue. There are supposed to be designated smoking areas but people were just doing this anywhere, on an evening this would be on the tables directly outside the entertainment so the second hand smoke was just blowing in across the kids disco. This needs gripping and robustly dealing with by the hotel. It’s unfair on the 90% of non smokers at the resort. The food itself is ok, the layout is diabolical. It’s like an unorganised school canteen. You queue for everything, no issues with this, but some people cut the line, and others are on your shoulder and literally trying to move you along with their elbows. It needs a seperate kids food station like other resorts have. The pools are a good size and depth, but the non heated ones are very, very cold. This may improve though the summer season. Daily cleaning service is great, kids entertainment is good, adults entertainment is poor. Lacklustre shows. Not terrible at all but mediocre.
