Up on arrival to this beautiful beach front hotel, we were greeted by a dark haired, middle aged rude lady receptionist wearing glasses, we were given a garden view room on the first floor. Having been to the hotel 3 times in the last 2 years, we knew this room had no view, see photo. Previously we have stayed on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We asked if we could change, very rudely she replied, you've got a room you requested!! So, off we trot to room 1106. On arrival, it stunk of mildew/ damp, though it was very clean! We had 2 single beds pushed together, not really ideal, were in our early 60's! We unpacked and went to the bar. On the way there, we passed the same receptionist, we told her the problem with the room, she said come to reception tomorrow morning, I'll see if we have an alternative room. We said no thank you, we're not here to keep unpacking/packing!!!! (During our stay, we were told by many staff that the hotel was only half capacity!! ). The cleaner came in the next day and freshened it up, she also kept our room spotless, excellent service from this lady, thank you. We were AI, we had a kettle and tea/coffee facilities and hairdryer. Fridge, which was replenished with 1.5ltr of water daily. We had a shower over the bath which had a shower curtain!! Please management if your reading this, try having a shower in this room, the curtain just keeps sticking to you. It badly needs updating to a shower screen! Towels changed/room cleaned daily, Wifi worked ok in this room. AI drinks are very good, branded drinks, alcoholic coffees/teas, soft drinks and water in both pool & entertainment bars. Juan(head barman) in the entertainment bar makes a very nice Carajillo coffee ☕️ we love the banter with the staff in both bars, especially Antonio, Martin and Belle. Choice of food for AI is very good, though sadly like many reviews it is warm/cold. We had to use the microwave with all meals. There was a carvery joint every evening meal, I especially liked this, also themed nights during our stay. Pool areas are lovely, plenty of sunbeds. We use the serenity pool at the top, overlooking the sea. The main pool is heated. There is a daily entertainment programme in the foyer. The sunrises from the pool areas are amazing. Luckily enough, we had splendid sunshine for our 11 days stay 😎 🌞 The whole hotel is kept spotless, the staff/cleaners are very friendly and a credit to this hotel. There aren't many children at this hotel, it is mainly for the more mature people. We love the pace of this hotel. Evening entertainment was good, the Beatles tribute was amazing, we highly recommend watching this. We also loved "Code Red", we had a lovely dance on this evening 😀 There is a lovely library for swapping books by reception The hotel is at the beginning of PDC strip with easy walking to Matagorda and 35 minutes walk to the old town along the strip. There is a Spar supermarket over the road. Lastly, I'd like to thank the hotel for the bottle of Cava and water on ice whilst celebrating 🍾 my birthday with them. We really enjoyed our stay again, we would like to thank you all, we will be returning 😀

The hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned by competent cleaners especially on floor 3500. Reception staff, waiters and chefs all very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. The hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned by competent cleaners especially on floor 3500. Reception staff, waiters and chefs all very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Hotel entertainment was good to very good and welcome as the evenings this year were very cool indeed. Food was good quality and plenty of choice, best breakfast sausages at a Canary Islands hotel.

“Nice hotel”

hotel was very nice and big Staff very helpful Entertainment every night Ginger and spice were the name of the great couple that were singing The food was lovely and plentiful only thing I found the evening staff were quite rude at times 😕

“Do not expect compassion from this hotel”

We were a family of 4, who booked all-inclusive from the 1st to the 8th of April. The hotel is dated but very clean. A much older clientele but I was expecting that, I actually find that quiet reassuring. The buffet dining was ok, perfect for our children, but fine dining it is not, and that is just what we were looking for. Unfortunately my husband got bad news from home and had to leave two days early. My brother was also holidaying in Lanzarote, with his family, and offered to come get me and my kids so we could spend the day with them, for support, the day my husband left. I went to reception and spoke with a blonde lady. Quiet by surprise I got very upset explaining to her what was happening. There were plenty of people around and I was very embarrassed. At no point did she offer to take me aside to a separate room. I explained that my husband had to leave unexpectedly for family bad news at home. I explained how my brother was helping me out. I asked if I could possibly invite my brother and his wife for buffet lunch the following day, as they would be visiting me to check up on us. I was told I would have to pay €25 a head for lunch. We paid €38pppn extra for all inclusive. My husband didn't use it monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We didn't use it on monday. So that's the equivalent of €228 we paid for all inclusive that we did not use and they still charged me €25 pp for the buffet lunch for my brother and his wife. I quired it again before checkout to see if anything could be done and I was told NO. I am disgusted by their actions, for their lack of customer care and basic empathy. We will never go back here again.
