Well certainly didn't disappoint. Read reports and they all checked 100% to what had been posted. A very enjoyable stay and having been to GC lots of times previously it was our first time Peurto. Keep up the good work and will be back x

“LOVELY HOTEL”

We have just got back from Gran Canaria and we absolutely loved the hotel. It had a calm vibe, really clean and tidy. Didn’t have to get up early to get a sun-bed and there were lots of beds all day. The bar is reasonably priced and does really great drinks and food. Lovely friendly staff and food and drinks are made with love! Drinks are even better at happy hour 12-1pm (2 big cocktails for 8€!). We had a lovely room, spotlessly clean and felt brand new with a great view on the fourth floor. Nice touch having a bottle of wine left for us as well. Room was cleaned every day. It is a 10 minute walk down to the strip (slight hill and steps). The walk down is fine. We walked back a few times and also got a taxi for 4.30€. There are Taxi’s everywhere opposite McDonald’s. The strip is filled with bars and restaurants. Lots of karaoke bars upstairs by Murphy’s. We didn’t eat on the strip as it wasn’t our vibe, but instead had lovely meals at Tipsy Bee and the restaurants at the top of Mogan Mall. The Indian was great. We did an evening in Puerto Mogán (18€ in a taxi). It’s beautiful and has a great holiday vibe. We much preferred it here and had a great meal overlooking the harbour, instead of lots of English/Irish bars in Puerto Rico. Overall a really enjoyable break and would 100% recommend this hotel if you are a Canary Islands lover.

“Relaxing stay”

On our last day today . Our apartment is 209 lovely sea view . Big balcony to chill on. 2 relaxing chairs and a coffee table . On our last day today . Our apartment is 209 lovely sea view . Big balcony to chill on. 2 relaxing chairs and a coffee table . The apartment has a modern feel to it , with a kitchenette area ,consists of a 2 ring hob , microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee making machine. Fridge with a small freezer part . And a breakfast bar. There's cutlery and basic plates , bowls are not deep so if you want cereal on a morning bring some . Mugs not small cups . So that was a bonus. A small living room area with 2 tall chairs a little coffee table and tv , with English channels on . A double wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves . Beds are 2 singles pushed together with mattress toppers on , adequate but not ideal if you like a firm bed . Lovely comfy pillows .There's at least 4 stations to charge a phone , I pad ect on . So no need fetching extra plugs . No iron so if you need one bring one or a small steamer . Large bathroom area with a double shower. There's an hairdryer in the area. There's shampoo and soap provided. Just outside our rooms there's washing machine and tumble dryer for use to the guests £5 euros , with powder . Its very easy to visit either the Europea centre or the lower shopping centre and mogan mall. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return back to this apartments. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

“Lovely accommodation but renovation works at hotel next door not so great”

Our 2nd visit as we enjoyed so much previously. Slightly disappointed that the Hotel could not provide the room we'd asked for, prior to arrival,especially as it did not seem fully occupied. Our 2nd visit as we enjoyed so much previously. Slightly disappointed that the Hotel could not provide the room we'd asked for, prior to arrival,especially as it did not seem fully occupied. Room allocated was still OK, just not what we would have liked. As always, the cleaners do an outstanding job & all staff are friendly & helpful. Never an issue getting a sunbed (we only used them in the afternoons & plenty avaliable). Not sure why some guests felt the need to put their towels on the round beds(poolside)at ridiclous-o-clock every day. Totally unfair on the staff that clean the loungers, beds, pool etc every day. At least, for sanitary reasons, let them clean the beds before you lay down your towels as proof of 'ownership'. Very selfish for those guests who may have liked the experience of using those beds. If I was management, I would remove your towels & put them in reception so you would have to go shame faced to collect them! Please be aware - the Rocamar hotel immediately next door is undergoing some renovation work. Drilling, banging etc every a/noon we spent poolside ( & a crane dropping supplies in one morning)Jet2 apologised & compensated us. Said they had only just been informed & said work will continue into May/June but Hartaguna were not entirely sure themselves ? Check out the Internet- it's says it's a much longer job so who to believe? Tour operators should be flagging this prior to taking bookings. We will be back in this location in 6 weeks but sadly not here as being next to building works noise is not what we come on holiday for.
