I have just checked in today and really impressed with what I got for my money. The location is superb and has the best all round view of Puerto Rico, the beach and harbour. Staff were very welcoming at reception and the pool bar. Lovely pool area and adults only so enjoying a peaceful break. The room is amazing and I have a massive balcony with a sunbed and table. All the best equipment from tv to microwave coffee perculater and a toaster. Very clean and well laid out. The apartments are close to shops taxis and the Europa Centre. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Definitely recommend.

What can I say about this lovely wee apartment on the hill overlooking the beach of Puerto Rico? The highlight was the huge balcony and the fantastic view. I love going on my winter breaks in Gran Canaria, and this hotel is an absolute gem. The manager and staff were very friendly, including the housekeeping staff, and the lady at the snack bar was lovely. Her food was amazing too. The apartment was clean. The shower rooms was one of the best I've been in too. The staff were helpful and made us very comfortable I'm giving the Servatur JB a solid 10/10 and thank you for making our stay amazing.

⸻ We arrived on 28/12/2025, staying for 1 week, we were allocated Apartment 7. From the start, our experience was very positive. Check-in was quick and stress-free, and the receptionist was warm, friendly, and extremely helpful, even showing us to the apartment despite our late-night arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. As a 2-star property, we arrived with realistic expectations and were simply looking for comfort, cleanliness, and good value — and this place exceeded all of them. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped for self-catering. The views overlooking PR are absolutely breathtaking. We had a side sea view, but the scenery was still incredible — photos really don’t do it justice. While some of the woodwork is a little dated, the apartment is clearly well maintained and comfortable. The beds deserve a special mention: extremely comfortable, with crisp white sheets that ensured a great night’s sleep. The pool area is clean, peaceful, and relaxing, with soft music playing at an unobtrusive volume. Once again, the views from the pool area are outstanding. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and excellent value for money. We would happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. If you want luxury, book 5-star accommodation. If you want peaceful, clean, comfortable accommodation with incredible views, then don’t hesitate — you won’t regret it. I’ve stayed in many 3- and 4-star places in PR that aren’t as nice as J.B., and in my opinion, it definitely deserves an extra star.

This was my fourth visit to Puerto Rico, so I knew what to expect. The hotels are built into the cliffs, so you can expect lots of steps — but usually stunning views in return. Unfortunately, our experience at JB got off to a very disappointing start. We had booked a partial sea view room, but on arrival were told the hotel had overbooked. We were placed in a full sea view room for one night only and told we would have to move the next day. When I went to reception at the time they requested, they couldn’t tell me when our actual room would be ready and made us feel like we were the problem. I eventually had to call Jet2, and we finally got into our room at 12:30pm. As we only had three full days on this trip, our plans for the first day — including a boat trip — were ruined. The hotel itself is very quiet with gorgeous views. Our room was dated, but this matched the photos online, so it wasn’t a surprise. What really let the hotel down was the lack of helpfulness from the staff. There are a lot of steps at this property, and no assistance is offered with luggage — not even when we had to change rooms. Because of this, I wouldn’t return. There are better options in the area, and I had chosen this hotel specifically for my 18-year-old daughter, who struggles with busy, noisy places. Sadly, the overall experience just didn’t match what we’d hoped for.
