Fantastic little find and still at the apartments just now . I do believe in leaving an honest review at every hotel/apartment and this place is so nice. All the rooms look out on to the bay only about 50 rooms. Very quiet we paid extra for our hot tub bath on the balcony. You could go up to the europa centre or a gentle walk down to the main strip and Malls. We would definitely recommend if couple or two friends coming away for a nice relaxing holiday it’s the place to come. You can access the hotel up the hill servatur purto Azul but we didn’t need to it looks massive and not as personal as J.B.. It’s been so relaxing met some lovely people will definitely come back.

We have just stayed for a week at Easter. This was the ideal apartments for what we needed. It's only a small complex of about 40/50 rooms but did the trick we wanted for a quiet break. Note it's an adults only complex, no under 18s Arrived late on the Saturday night so reception was closed but signs told you to go to Servatuer Puerto Azul, which is approx 300 metres away to collect keys, easy enough but had a 20 minute wait there due to lot of people checking in. Got keys and you need key to open the security gate so it's a very secure complex. Our apartment was right at bottom but they had left a little map in the envelope. Approx 30 steps down to reception, then was about 50 down to apartment, so a little struggle with cases down the narrow step ways but we managed OK, please bear in mind there are no lifts. Apartment was ideal size , patio was massive with 2 sunbeds and 2 chairs and a table , lovely view over the centre and out over the harbour. Inside room was large settee, dining table and chairs, microwave, large fridge with separate freezer, Hob, and lots of cooking implements but we didn't use any. Air-conditioning was on. Bedroom nice and had a full walled mirror. Digital safe in wardrobe. Bathroom was nice, had 2 sinks and a shaving mirror plus full mirrors, rainfall head shower room with a handheld (it did leak slightly so make sure you put the Floor towel down but can't say caused us any issues. Reception staff very pleasant , was a cafe/bar onsite but only opened limited hours 1100/1800 and not every day, so ne breakfast early option. Pool is small but adequate for a cool off, only about 24 sunbeds plus 4 large double luxury beds, but never had an issue getting one and some days we was the only people there for a bit of time. Views amazing from the pool balcony SPAR supermarket 300 metres away. Or an 15 min walk uphill to Europa centre (can be hard in the heat) but there's a Taxi rank near the Spar/Puerto Azul too. 15 min walk down to the beach or the centre but lots of steps. Walked back up a couple of times but that's a challenge to even the fittest. But a Taxi from beach/ commercial centre is only about 5 euros. Plenty of towels, frequent changes and reception give you Pool towels too, All in all highly recommended

“The height of excellence”

I have just checked in today and really impressed with what I got for my money. The location is superb and has the best all round view of Puerto Rico, the beach and harbour. I have just checked in today and really impressed with what I got for my money. The location is superb and has the best all round view of Puerto Rico, the beach and harbour. Staff were very welcoming at reception and the pool bar. Lovely pool area and adults only so enjoying a peaceful break. The room is amazing and I have a massive balcony with a sunbed and table. All the best equipment from tv to microwave coffee perculater and a toaster. Very clean and well laid out. The apartments are close to shops taxis and the Europa Centre. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Definitely recommend.

“Too expensive for us now...”

Decent hotel for £35/£45 a night but since the turn of the year prices have gone crazy. £348/night for New Years Eve, seriously??? There's no porter so you have to negotiate around 90 steps up and 90 down to your room with your 22kg Jet 2 suitcase. With 700 steps up and down to the beach, this hote… more

Decent hotel for £35/£45 a night but since the turn of the year prices have gone crazy. £348/night for New Years Eve, seriously??? There's no porter so you have to negotiate around 90 steps up and 90 down to your room with your 22kg Jet 2 suitcase. With 700 steps up and down to the beach, this hotel will keep you fit. Hotel is showing it's age now, and the rooms likewise - something you'll put up with if the price reflects this, but not for 5 star Dubai prices. With no bar/restaurant after 6pm, you're in for a hike to get something to eat and drink, €5 in a taxi back. Parking can be tricky if you get a car and late checkouts are unheard of. If the hotel is overbooked you'll be bumped overnight to Puerto Azul up the road, an all inclusive screaming brat hell hole - this may or may not be your cup of tea. Ants and roaches, even at that height, so you might want to bring some spray. Rio Piedras may be a better option. Better location and price, bigger balconies, easy to get a late check out and no mountain hiking involved.
