“First time in Spain. Enjoyed Suances”

“A decent hotel of the type to match a fairly soul-less town but good beaches”
We travelled out of season (June) when it was mostly Spaniards spending Sunday on the beach. We had been to Suances over 50 years ago when it was a tiny village with great beaches. “It was great value for money out of season - well-sized room overlooking beach and sea and a really good breakfast”
Out of season most room rates are negotiable. The receptionist spoke good English and was very helpful. There is abundant street parking close to the hotel and a choice of places to eat. The hotel is modern and well cared for.

We recently stayed at La Concha, as part of a tour. The hotel is in a nice location, some rooms overlooking the beach in a fairly quiet resort but it is not well served by public transport.
