1. Booking & Outbound Transfer (Arrival) We booked an additional airport-to-hotel transfer. Upon arrival at the airport, after collecting our luggage, we waited about 40 minutes for all the other passengers. Then the journey took another 30 minutes, as the coach stopped at every hotel along the way. 2. Check-in & The Room We arrived at the hotel for a one-week stay with our family – my wife and our 18-month-old son. We received a clean room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The room had two double beds and a crib. However, it was too cramped with all three beds – we couldn't move around, so we returned the crib and just pushed the two double beds together, which worked perfectly for us. The room also had an interesting interconnecting door system to the neighboring room – a great solution for families booking two separate rooms who want direct access between them. 3. Daily Life: The Pools The pool area was open from 10 AM to 7 PM. To secure sunbeds in the sun, guests started queuing at the gate from 9:30 AM. There were actually twice as many sunbeds as guests, and the shaded ones were almost always empty. The complex had 3 pools: a tiny one for babies not yet walking, a large one with depths from 1m to 1.5m, and a medium-sized one with a flat bottom (about 0.5m deep) featuring slides, fountains, and other attractions. Three lifeguards were on duty at all times, keeping everything safe and orderly. 4. Daily Life: Food & All-Inclusive Dining The food was very tasty. Breakfast offered the same set of sides daily, but you could make your meal savory, sweet, or fruity – so there was something for everyone. For lunch, most vegetables were repeated every day, but the meat dishes changed daily. Dinner followed a similar pattern – same vegetable sides, but some of the meat options were different each day. Coffee from the machine and juices were only available during breakfast. For lunch and dinner, we had to order drinks from the waiters; a flyer on each table listed all the alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and you could pay extra if a drink wasn't covered by all-inclusive. A special shout-out to the chef from Nigeria, Daniel, and to the lovely, smiling waitresses from Ukraine and Russia, who worked together seamlessly despite the political divisions. 5. Daily Life: The Bar The bar was located on the ground floor by the pool/stage area. Sometimes the queue took up to 15 minutes because all-inclusive and non-all-inclusive guests stood in the same line. There was a self-service dispenser for non-alcoholic drinks and a tap for beer and sweet wine (probably sangria) for all-inclusive guests. For other spirits like whiskey (4 types), vodka (several kinds), rum, brandy, coffee, and juice – also available to all-inclusive guests – we had to wait in the same queue. There was also a wider premium range of alcohols available at a discounted extra charge for AI guests, or at full price for non-AI. There were at most 3 bartenders (or fewer), working incredibly hard. A huge thank you to the girl from Romania (whose name I sadly forgot), who spoke multiple languages fluently and acted as a Spanish-English translator for the rest of the bar team. 6. The Beach & Location The hotel is located just across the street from the coastline – you simply cross the road and you can see the sea. The beach itself is beautiful, with white sand. The promenade is currently being renovated. Every morning, tractors drive along the beach to collect trash and level the sand. A downside: the hotel does not offer beach towel rentals, so we had to buy our own. 7. Issues During the Stay (Services) The reception staff were very courteous – for an extra €15, they arranged a birthday cake for my wife. However, we had a problem with the iron: there was only one available for the whole hotel, and it went missing for 3 days. There was no ironing board or suitable space to iron, which, as a parent, I found quite glaring – ironing on the bed in the room with a small child nearby was very risky and demanding. 8. Return Transfer (Departure) We had a major problem with our transfer back to the airport. We were told to be at the bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled departure. The coach arrived 5 minutes early. We loaded our luggage with the other passengers, and my wife went straight inside with our sleeping child in her arms. After loading, I approached the driver to confirm our presence, but he was talking to a colleague through the open window and just waved me to take a seat. After 10 minutes of driving, the driver stopped the coach to explain the rules and informed us that the trip to the airport would take an hour – even though the airport was only 10 km away. I immediately stopped him and asked which direction we were heading. When I told him we were on the wrong coach, he started checking the passenger list. The driver called his boss, who told us to get off the bus and order a taxi to make our flight. The driver kindly ordered a taxi for us – I was very grateful since I don't speak Spanish. After the whole incident, I wrote to the transport company and received a full refund for the taxi about a month later. My advice: if you're considering a transfer to this hotel, just take a taxi. The price is the same, but the speed and comfort are significantly better. 9. Final Summary Despite a few inconveniences, our vacation at this hotel and location was absolutely excellent. The staff were very helpful, courteous, and professional. This is actually the first hotel we are planning to return to in the future, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to friends. The value for money was also very good

“First Solo Trip”

Just need a few days of sun to recharge really. Hadn't been away for over 2 years so this was ideal. Really great location, good value and helpful staff.

I finally got a room swap and the air con in the main building is amazing. However the other building is terrible. The air con is the worst air con I've had. The lady at the bar pool side is rude. The air con is a real problem. In this heat with children it's not good enough.

Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The biggest issue was that the staff seemed to have very different levels of training and different attitudes towards guests. Some employees were very friendly and professional, while others gave the impression that they were not really interested in providing good customer service. I would especially like to mention the three lovely ladies working at the bar. They were always friendly, welcoming, and knew exactly how to prepare drinks very well. They made the bar experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, there were also some staff members — especially one male employee — who behaved as if they were working there as a punishment rather than wanting to help guests. I was also disappointed with the service at reception. I asked five times for an iron during our stay and unfortunately never received one. In the end, I had to buy my own. The lady welcoming guests in the restaurant was polite and friendly, but it seemed that she had not been fully trained. When we gave our room number and showed our all-inclusive bracelets, she did not want to let us in and kept asking for additional “papers”. She was nice, but the situation showed a lack of proper training and communication between departments. Regarding the food, I missed a bigger seafood selection. There was always fish available, but considering that the hotel is located in Spain, we expected a wider variety of seafood options. I was also very surprised that a typical Spanish classic like aioli was never available — this was a big disappointment. The most serious issue happened on the day of our departure. We were allowed to stay in our room until 12:00. At around 8:00 in the morning, someone from the staff opened our door without knocking, probably because they wanted to start cleaning the room. Then, at around 10:30, while my son was in the shower and I was getting dressed in my underwear, new guests entered our room! We had to explain to them that we still had the room until 12:00. This was a very uncomfortable and unacceptable situation and should never happen in a hotel. Overall, the hotel has some great employees who really try to make guests happy, but there are clear issues with staff training, communication, and customer service standards.
