Firstly the receptionist host (Sophia) is friendly, awesome and nothing is too much touble. We travelled to Lloret da Mar as a sports tour - we had no choice. We did 4 nights. The highlight is the roof top pool. Spectacular sunset views from 2100pm interupted only occasionally by a spherical globe shot into the sky with 2 x screaming teenagers. However, the roof top location is the most serenity you will get at this apartment. The Lloret location is derigeur for 17 - 25 year age group (and older swingers) who want to party until 0500 and eat McDonalds, Burger King or KFC. A perfunctory wake up call at 0300am accompanies these party-hard accolytes as they stumble home. The apartment is spotlessly clean. Comes with "light exclusion" shutters. And is surrounded by wall to wall hotels which offer the uninitiated perfect views of naked men airing the washing. The apartment is stocked with the bare minimum of cups , plates and teaspoons (presumably because the summer inhabitants eat at KFC etc .. see above). There was no kettle. Despite this the hotel is very convenient for the bus station and easy to access. I NB that tequila was Euro 1 across the road at the nightclub. We sought solice up the gorgeous coastal path where we swan and snorkelled etc.

Good points: Lovely apartment - spacious, modern, and close to all amenities, as well as the beach. The pool is also a nice touch with a nice view. The kitchen has some basic utensils and kitchen wear. Bad points: The customer service is non existent, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. We called the reception one of the days as we had no hot water and there was 7 of us that had to shower and get ready - the guy was rude and told us we need to wait for an hour, and when we told him it was ridiculous he swore down the phone and hanged up. We had one toilet roll for the whole weekend for a group of 7. Also, it’s expected of you to clean the apartment and empty the bins at the end of your stay, however the bin bags or cleaning products aren’t provided. €60 in cash per person is required as a deposit upon arrival, which I thought was a bit weird as we booked through booking.com, so why we needed to leave cash… The apartment is then checked at checkout point before you can have your deposit back. Be aware the area is quiet noisy, as there are lots of nightclubs around, however if you enjoy parties this is a perfect spot for you! Overall we’ve had a lovely stay, the city has many pretty spots and things to do and I would be very happy to return, however the customer service really lets this nice place down.
